Hi!
We developed a device using the SPV1040 as a DC-DC converter connected to the PV panel (5V MPPT 0.150A sc)
When the no-load voltage of the panel is less than 2 volts, but the same panel when connected to the converter produces a much lower voltage. As example: 1.75V no load and 0.28V when connected to the converter. The panel is shunted by the converter (?)
The part of the device circuit we are interested in is shown below; the FET VT1 is closed (in this mode, SPV1040 is not loaded on the charge controller or battery).
I also give the voltage oscillogram across the boost inductor L1
Perhaps this is the problem - the controller should be powered from the output voltage and can not complete the soft start process?
