The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU FAIL.TXT message on my STEVAL-SPIN3201. How do I fix this?

My STEVAL-SPIN3201 was working fine yesterday and I uploaded a new program and the program didn't work. So I left and came back today with this error. I have reloaded the ST-Link firmware, but still the same message everytime. How do I fix this?

    I turned on the power to the Motor side of the board and I can upload programs now. I didn't realise this would stop the program from uploading.
