STEF033 cannot be used for the case Ilim=1A?

Rlimit is valid when the value is more than 120 ohm?

Welcome @hk1, to the community!

If you actually need Ilimit at 1A, the STEF033 is unfortunately not suitable. Please also read sections 5.2 and 5.1.4 of the data sheet so that you understand the difference between Ilimit and Ishort.

Increasing the Rlimit beyond 120 ohms serves no purpose, as the curve begins to approach an asymptote at that point, meaning the current limit becomes increasingly unpredictable.
