STC3115 Vcc Pin Getting ~0.7V In Power OFF

Hi Team,

I'm using STC3115AIQT on one of my projects for a 3.7V Li-Ion battery monitoring. I'm powering the IC by supplying an external 3.3V on the VCC pin (From an LDO) of the IC and giving my battery voltage input on the VIN pin.
During the normal operation of the board, I'm getting an expected output from the IC without any issues.

But when I'm turning off my external 3.3V LDO, the VCC is still having a voltage of around 650mV-750mV. And I suspect this voltage is coming from the battery (VIN pin) as the voltage goes to 0V when I remove the battery.

Why is this happening? Is there any internal connection between the VCC and VIN pins of the IC?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

VIN has to be lower than or equal to VCC. In practice VCC is connected to VBAT like figure 4 and 5 of the datasheet.
