SPV1050 Temperature Range

igdor

Hi.

"Does STMicroelectronics have any plans to release the SPV1050 with an extended operating temperature range suitable for automotive (e.g., –40°C to +125°C) or military-grade applications?"

Best Regards.

Welcome @igdor, to the community!

Automotive certification, with all the associated documentation, is so extensive and cost-intensive that the whole thing would probably end up at a price that the market would not accept – not to mention the lack of demand that would be necessary for such a qualification. Approval for military applications is similarly complex, so I, at least, see no chance of this happening. However, you are free to submit a request to your local distributor or sales office.
