I've got the STEVAL-ISB045V1 and STEVAL-ISB68WA evaluation kits. After programming the transmitter to use the correct ping, min and max frequency parameters, I attempted to "connect" the receiver to the transmitter with a 1/4W load. When I do this, the GUI says the Rx reported load is 1152mW, and the STWLC68 chip gets too hot to touch. Within a few seconds the power is cut. The same thing happens with no load, with the Rx reporting 896mW. The GUI's Protocol page reports CONTROL_ERROR_TIMEOUT and RX_REMOVED. Sometimes the RX_OVER_TEMPERATURE flag gets set, sometimes not.
I suspect the output of my receiver is damaged, although I don't know what would have caused it. I would appreciate some input as to what might be happening here, and what can be done to prevent it.
