Looking for datasheets for the STWBC2HP and STWLC89, do these exist? I can't find them anywhere on the internet

Dear customer.
These products are in Mass Production but the support for mass market has been restricted, and documentation has been retrieved from the website.

Please contact your distributor, so that they will be able to support you for the first steps.

Hi,

Since we haven’t received the datasheet yet, we’d like to confirm the following information:

  1. If the receiver side (RX) uses the STWLC89 15 W solution, what is the corresponding 15 W transmitter (TX) model?

  2. Which Qi standards are supported by STWLC89

Hello,

Here are the answers:

1. The Transmitter for 15W is the STWBC2-HP.

2. STWLC89 supports Qi 2.1 EPP/MPP15 and it will be Qi 2.2 MPP25 ready by Q1’26.

For more direct support, do not hesitate to open a case on st.com (https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/support-home.html#), you ticket should be re-directed to the support team.

Hey,
I'm looking for that datasheet too. I spend some serious time on the internet to find anything more than the "data brief" on the STWBC2HP chip itself, but unfortunately, I found nothing so far. I bought the STEVAL-WBC2TX50 and found the schematics for it on the STM webpage, but that is not really helpful, I was toying around with the idea to use the STWBC2HP in one of my projects, but I probably have to find a different way to do it.
I mean I know about those key points:

  • Digital controller for wireless power transmitters
    • Proprietary ST Super Charge extension for high power charging
  • System-in-package (SiP) with microcontroller and front-end device
    • Arm 32-bit Cortex™-M0+ CPU, frequency up to 64 MHz
    • 3x half-bridge drivers
    • Embedded 3.6 V/5 V DC-DC
    • 3.3 V and 1.8 V LDOs
    • 6 V or 9 V voltage doubler
    • FSK programmable modulator
    • Integrated current, voltage, and phase demodulators
    • Integrated current and voltage sensors
  • Support for half- and full-bridge topologies with input DC-DC
    • Support for limited power sources such as 5 V 500 mA USB
  • VIN operative range: 4.1 V to 24 V
  • USB physical interfaces
    • USB Power Delivery
  • Communication interfaces
    • UART
    • I2C
    • GPIOs
  • Peripherals
    • 12-bit 0.5 us ADC
    • Q-factor driver
  • Memory
    • 128 Kbytes of flash memory with ECC
    • 32 Kbytes of SRAM with hardware parity check
  • Development support: serial wire debug (SWD)
  • Package: VFQFPN68L 8x8 mm pitch 0.4 mm

Those are the data from the "Data Brief" document and very basic. I need to know how everything is connected inside the chip if I want to make my own firmware for it.
Please STM, contact me or let me know where I can find the more detailed documentation for the STWBC2HP chip.

Until then, stay curios and never forget:

Hi @gewa5380 Both datasheets are available from STMicroelectronics. STWLC89 is the 30 W wireless power receiver data brief and STWBC2-HP is the wireless power transmitter controller data brief.Check each product’s Documentation/Resources section on ST’s website to download the PDFs.If you can’t access them there, contact ST support or your local ST sales representative and they can provide the full datasheets.
