I'm designing a BMS for 96 cells in total, but divided in 24 cells per board.
So I'm thinking two L9963E on board, and then boards connected together with inductive isolation.
But inside board capacitive isolation would be enough, between the two chips. However this case is not covered in the datasheets or application notes. Does L9963E work with inductive isolation in one direction, and capacitive in the other?
My main concern is the VCOM pin, which is documented differently for capacitive and inductive isolation... So how should it be if upstream and downstream have different config?
