Hello,
we want to use L6482 chip to substiture DRV8711 driver we have been using so far.
However from our tests the driver does not behave equally as well.
We took some oscilloscope screenshots showing that at high speeds the current provided to the motor from L6482 is lower than the DRV8711 one.
Is there a way to bring the current up using ST L6482? Are there some parameters we can play with?
The driver is commanded via the CLOCK pin (and the DIRection is given via SPI).
We are using the L6482 evaluation board (EVAL6482H).
In the attachments you can find two screenshots, one of the ST L6482 and one of the DRV8711.
