I need to build a Battery Management Unit for an EV with 80 LiOn cells.

I have an EV that was converted from internal combustion engine to electric using lead/acid batteries. It's been upgraded to LiOn cells but needs a battery management system to be safe and usable. I know several others with the same need. The L9963 series seems perfect. Is there a reference design or other help available?

Welcome, @TCox.1, to the community!

yes, you can have a look at the EVAL-L9963E-MCU, which can be expanded for larger battery systems with one or more EVAL-L9963E-NDS.

For further assistance, please contact your nearest sales partner.

Good luck!
