Controlling iq in a PMSG

Hello

I want to control the torque of a PMSM (from a small micro-turbine). I guess that I should use FOC. I have found a Low-voltage high-current inverter motor board UM3489, but I do not know if it can be used for generators. It seems that it only works with motors. Theoretically there is not conceptual difference between both types of operation.

I have also seen STDES-VIENNARECT, which has a Vienna rectifier, but it seems that is not valid for low voltatges (around 24, 48 Volts)

Does anybody have any experience with this or any other inverter controlling a generator?

Thank you
