Hi All,
Looking to see if there are any replacements for the VN05NSP. Attached is the datasheet for it.
I found VN5E006ASP-E but am not sure if it could work. Attached is it's datasheet as well.
Thanks for any help.

Correct. The resistor passes the digital signal to the comparator LM2901D for further processing. Unfortunately, you will need to thoroughly examine the schematics and its function and adapt it to an alternative device.
Good luck!

The 5E looks similar, but has some parameters that differ to a greater or lesser extent:
Although the maximum voltages are not exactly comparable on a 1:1 basis, they do provide an indication of transient resistance. The main problem, however, is the pin STATUS, for which the pin DE can perform some functions, but which is located on a different pin.
If you did not use the pin STATUS with the VN05NSP, the VN5E006ASP may be usable if the voltage resistance is suitable. Otherwise, there is unfortunately no direct replacement for the VN05NSP.
Good luck!

Hi Peter,
The status pin is tied to a resistor and from there goes to a pin on an LM2901D. So that would most likely mean that it is used and that I can't use the VN5E006ASP as replacement, correct?
Thanks,
