I’m a bit confused by the conflicting information regarding the STM part VN21-E.
There is no MSL specified on the STM label – which makes sense given that it is a Pentwatt package (through-hole mounting = wave soldering = no real risk of MSL damage).
However, STMs official partner DigiKey (and others) specify an MSL 3.
That can’t actually be right, can it?

The VN21 was a High Side Smart Power SSR, which has already been discontinued, so no information is available from ST anymore. I can only assume that Digikey entered some MSL value, as this was indeed not usual for this package variant.
Hope that answers your question?
