I have an application where I am using L99VR02J. for this application I do not need the watchdog so I have tied Vcw to Vo as specified in the datasheet on page 22.
"Since the RST output pin is shared by the watchdog circuit and the output voltage monitoring circuit, for
applications where the watchdog is not needed, to prevent the watchdog from generating RST pulses without
anyhow losing the reset functionality of the VO monitoring, the Vcw pin has to be connected to VO. Vcw pin must be always tied to ground by an external capacitor (Ctw) when watchdog function is used."
However the datasheet does not specify how to handle the input Wi when the watchdog is disabled. My current schematic has this pin tied to Vs. What is ST's recommendation for Wi when watchdog is disabled?
