Looking for the datasheet.
Part is obsolete, but can still be bought.
Need it for trouble shooting. Datasheets as such usually just go "obsolete". They still exist on a database somewhere.
Oooh the books where so nice!

However, there are also non-public data sheets for customised devices, so unfortunately a data book would not have been of any use.
I'm sorry I can't help you here, only the manufacturer of the system in question could.

So, you are saying that you, the manufacturer has lass info about the part that your company produced, has less info then the company that designed your part into their design?
Interesting, because I used to be a P&D eng. in the electronic industry.
I always got my data sheet from the manufacturer.
Maybe in this crazy computer world things are upside down now?
Or could it be that application eng. ( do you know what that is?) can't access a backup file?
Hmmm, glad I'm retired

As mentioned, the device was customised and manufactured for a specific customer, who also paid for it, so that the documents were only available to that customer. So it has nothing to do with crazy computer world, but with confidentiality.
And maybe an FAE (yes, I know what that is, as I am one myself) at that customer still has the documents - just ask them.
Good luck!

This is an old ignition/injection driver chip;
You would find in old data book, because most chips for cars are top secret.
The manufacturer published nothing.
So if you just want repair something, buy a new chip and replace it.
More easy than searching a nonexistent data sheet.
