ST notifies termination of the following product: LIS3MDLTR

We embed LIS3MDLTR on our board that we produce, because this has high sensitivity: 6842 LSB/gauss. This corresponds to 0.146 mgauss/LSB, if I convert correctly. The other products has significanltly lower sensitivity: 1.5 mgauss/LSB. What are you proposing to replace the LIS3MDLTR once it is discontinued?

They have specially trained people for this who receive a salary.

It's just strange that ST doesn't have such a clear position on compatibility with the sensors, like they do with microcontrollers, which I like. But these are just my thoughts; let's leave it at that)

We have used the AK09940A with ~10 nTesla/LSB and 18 bits
