Hello,
I would like to ask what is 'RES' pin in LIS3DH and LIS3DE? The only informtion is that it should be connected to the ground. Is it hardware reset which is activated with high state?

RES typically refers to RESERVED. However, this doesn't mean that the pin may not have a manufacturing purpose but that's not something I imagine they would share on a public forum......

Yes,

‌ is right the pin is RESERVED and must be connected as it is stated in the datasheet. It is NOT reset pin. These pins might be used in production but are useless for end users.
