ISM330DHCX SDO_Aux wiring

Hello,

I have a question about the configuration of the SDO_Aux pin. The datasheet of the ISM330DHCX suggests to leave the pin unconnected or connected to VDD_IO . Which is the most stable configuration?

Thanks !

Hi @NBesn.1 ,

for the SDO_Aux pin, both configuration are stable enough to get you all the characteristics described in the datasheet.

the bit OIS_ PU_DIS in register PIN_CTRL (02h) is used to set internal circuitry in a way to be able to use both modes with the same behaviour.

for what it's worth, I would suggest to tie it to Vdd_IO so you don't need to change the OIS_ PU_DIS value (it's default state considers the line with a pull-up)

hope this helps
