IIS2DLPC vs LIS2DW12

JBarr.12
Associate II

The datasheets for the IIS2DLPC and LIS2DW12 appear virtually identical beyond the title pages. What is the difference between these two part numbers?

The MEMS sensors starting with an L are targeted for high volumes in consumer applications, but usually no product longevity is guaranteed.

The ones starting with I are targeted to industrial applications with a guaranteed product longevity.

If available, you will find some information about the product longevity on the product web site, such as: for the IIS2DLPC (next to the device number, here 10). This leads to the longevity website.

I forgot to mention: double check the parameter sections as the industrial devices are specified in much more detail than the consumer parts

Good luck!
