Hello.
Does anybody knows if is possible to decrease the VL53L0X FOV putting in front of It a short piece of plastic (dark?) pipe?
Could it works enough fine or the cross-talk will become unacceptable?Any other options to decrease the detecting FOV?Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there is no way to reduce the FOV. One would have to put a lens over the receive side of the chip and that would be very expensive.
I did have one customer who used two sensors side by side and at slightly different angles. As the target moved from right to left, the one sensor would get a range, when the second sensor also got a range, the machine 'knew' the leading edge of the target was in the small over-lapping FoV.
But this wouldn't work for everyone.
