Before starting with your first Fine State Machine, it will be helpful to have a further look at the Unico tool. With Unico you can easily interact with your device, setting the desired configurations, reading and writing the registers, stream data and export settings in a header file that can be included in the source code of your application.
To create or import a Finite State Machine, you can select the FSM icon from the left bar of the Unico GUI, import a predefined algorithm (which will be useful for the following posts), check the output of the sensors, and debug the output of the state machine. You can also analyze a previous data logged file to check if the data stored enables the interrupts of your state machine.
