Does the LIS2DH12 contain software/firmware? Or is it limited to just configuration data? I realize that the terms software/firmware/config can be ambiguous. I ask for a project that requires full software certification. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The LIS2DH12 does not contain any software or firmware as it is only a motion sensor configured via I2C or SPI.
