SPWF01Sx - Auto-enabling socket server at boot

I'm evaluating the SPWF01x module for use in a cable-replacement application.

What I need to do is setup the module as an AP, connect to it and switch to data mode.

Following the documentation I've already put the module in MiniAP mode, set the desired IP, enabled the DHCP server and stored all required passkeys. I've run some tests and it already works as needed (which is very good indeed) except for one thing: after a reboot of the module, the socket server is always off.

I would like to know if and how the server can be activated automatically when the module is powered on.

Ciao Martino,

sorry but this feature is not in place. External host always needs to open again the server after reboot

I see. That's a real shame, because the module was good and quite easy to use.

I don't know your use case, but you can use webserver (+ output_demo cgi) if very low throughput is required. It's always on.
