S2-LP: Doppler effect due to tranciever moving at a speed 1 m/s

Hi!

In my situation i have two boards with S2-LP (868Mhz): one for transmit data and one for recieve. The reciever is stationary located and doesn't move. The transmitter moves back and forth at a speed 1 meter/second.

My question is: should i bother about frequency shift due to Doppler effect in my sistuation? Is it normal for the reciever to have signal with +- 5 Hz deviation (shift)?

Not in your application and speeds involved. If you that paranoid, think is that your frequency generator is 2.5ppm (at best !) , this will give 125Hz frequency deviation, you get my idea
