Hi,
I am using a SPBTLE-RF chip and will switch to the BlueNRG-M0A soon. I am willing to estimated how much I will benefit in term of signal strength using this new chip.
SPBTLE-RF chip is advertised (on website) to have a maximum +4dBm TX power output, but BlueNRG-MS datasheet speaks about a +8dBm TX power output on high power mode, pa_level 0x07. During test, it seems like I am at +8dBm TX power emission using the SPBTLE-RF (I have the same 24dBm delta between lower TX value / higher TX value and lower RSSI value / higher RSSI value) .
BlueNRG-M0A is advertised (on website) to have a maximum +8dBm TX power output, so am I really gaining +4dBm by switching to this chip ?
