VL53L8CX Driver software download

Hi - when I attempt to download the driver for this device the download never completes; I get a file "Unconfirmednnnn.crdownload" in my download folder. I'm using Edge browser on a Windows 11 Home 64 bit operating system. Using Norton, can't see anything there that would prevent the download. Have successfully downloaded from other sites many times with no issues.

Anyone with any insights?

I have just been able to successfully download the available packages as a test. In your case, it could be an issue with a virus scanner that may be present and is not accepting your download. You could also try using a different browser (e.g. Firefox, Brave, Chrome) or another machine?

Have you tried deleting that?

I sometimes find that the browser gets confused: it thinks it's already done this download, so doesn't try to do it again.

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Thanks - I tried the download a few times with the same result. Eventually renamed the file to .zip and was able to open it and access the files.

Thanks - I suspected the virus scanner but couldn't see anything that would stop the download and had no alerts from it. Eventually renamed the file to a .zip and that worked.
