Driver version issue for VL53L4CX

YChen.9
Associate II

HI,

The driver file I downloaded from the official website is version 1.2.8.(stsw-img029)

But when I downloaded the Demo(X-CUBE-TOF1), I found that it uses version 1.2.10.

Should I use the latest one?

Thanks

it doesn't matter. The X-CubeTof1 version has our newest chip (VL53L4ED). It's an extended temperature version of the CD. Identical in all ways except it has a specification that goes above 85 degrees C.

I don't think the ED version is out just yet, but the software will support it.
