We know there are OMNIFETs type VNP35N07 - but also we discovered XVNP35N07..
Now we are trying to find out what's the difference betwen VNP... and "X"VNP.... - so far we didn't find a datasheet or an explanation for this. Perhaps someone can help ?? Thank you very much in advance....
Picture of the XVNP35N07 is attached.

Hello @Kurt B.,
does the information provided on the following site already help? VNP35N07-E - OMNIFET: fully autoprotected Power MOSFET - STMicroelectronics
If not, let me know and we will see if colleagues from support can help further.

Good morning,
sorry, we can not get the needed information you asked for.
When you go to: www.octopart.com and insert type XVNP35N07 , then appears the company Quest-cimponents " www.quest.com " with stock. Of course we asked them before for a datasheet and pictures of the labels a.s.o. but they could provide only the pictures we sent already to you.
Questcomp is not a franchised distributor but has really a good name and we bought from them repeated in past. We know that also Arrow-companies ( i.e. ChipOnestop, Verical) buy part from Questcomp. So we are convinced that the dont's sell fakes are scrap.
OK, so far we have only the picturers. Perhaps the "X"VNP was a special production for a special customer. The part on the picture shows datecode 9444 - this is strange because in very old databook the series VNP.. didn't appear.
All in all very curious.
