spc560b64l ssd flash api with eval of spc5?

Posted on June 13, 2014 at 10:54

Hi,

I am using an evaluation of SPC5 and want to start playing with the flash controller in mcu, my device is spc560b64xxx.

I have read about SSD in pdf:

http://www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/document/user_manual/DM00082034.pdf

I have downloaded the zip file from the bottom of this page:

http://www.st.com/web/catalog/tools/FM147/CL1794/SC1809/SS1686/PF258748

It contains an EXE with what I think is a prebuilt C90LC library but I cannot install because it prompts for license key?

Do I have to pay to use the flash API in my MCu?

What license key do I need to evaluate it's use?

Can I get an evaluation license for this library like my install of SPC5?

Regards,

dc

Hello,

You downloaded the right file.

The flash driver is provided as a binary free of charge.

When launching the installer, you are kindly invited to click the “request serial number button.

This will open a form where you are invited to provide various information.

After completion the form will send an email to an ST recipient, you should get your key by email within the next day.
