Does SPC5studio uses the same Low level driver as the ones under MCAL used by third party like EB Tresos studio or HIGHTEC ?

I'm starting using SPC5 familly and I discover chips and tools.

I would like to first start with a low cost solution and then (second generation of product) to have my project ASIL-B certified. I understand that I will have to go with a STM 3rd party like EB tresos, isn't it ?

I would like to know if there is a difference between low level drivers included in free SPC5 studio and those included in certified MCA ?

And , for my understanding is MCAL interface just above low level driver ?

Thanks in advance,

Christophe

Hello ,

No , SPC5Studio does not use the same low level driver as the ones under MCAL.

the driver is built as example on licence SLA0098.

No problem for you to update them.

Yes , MCAL interface is just above low level driver.
