Hi everyone,
I'm working on a university project involving vehicle lateral control using the SPC5-MCTK-01 board. I'm using SPC5 Studio and AutoDevKit, but I'm facing issues with the setup:
AutoDevKit installation via SPC5 Studio (Help → Install New Software) fails repeatedly.
Launching AutoDevKit directly results in:
"Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit."
Tested on both Windows 10 and 11 – same issue.
I'd appreciate help with:
Correct integration of AutoDevKit into SPC5 Studio
Fixing the Java VM error
Tips or resources for using SPC5-MCTK-01 efficiently
Thanks in advance!
Best regards

Hi,
Just to clarify, SPC5-MCTK-01 is not in the AutoDevKit ecosystem therefore you should use pure SPC5Studio.
If you would like to evaluate 3Phase motor control solution in AutoDevKit, I suggest to use AEK-MOT-3P99081
https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/aek-mot-3p99081.html
or equivalent AEK-MOT-3P9908M.
