STM32CubeMX (MCUs)

Mikrocontroller: STM32L5IDE:STM32CubeIDE v1.3.0 with firmware package STM32Cube_FW_L5_V1.2.0STM32CubeIDE v1.5.1 with firmware package STM32Cube_FW_L5_V1.3.0I tried both IDE versions but didn't find a way to import X-CUBE-EEPROM into the "Embedded Software Packages Manager". When trying to import zip file en.x-cube-eeprom.zip with "Embedded Software Packages Manager" via "From Local ...", I only get the error message that a "Problem during load of selected File" occurs (see attachment). And unlike other expansion software for Cube (e.g. X-CUBE-ALGOBUILD, X-CUBE-MEMS1, ...) X-CUBE-EEPROM is never mentioned in the latest STM32CubeMX release notes.

I know, it's not easy to get this answer this way. I have a working F446RE code with CubeMX generated base in CubeIDE. I use the LL drivers and just simple int and string variables, not any dynamic memory handling. In some cases if I insert a new code line to a function or to the main(), an other completely unrelated part of the program go wrong. For example if I insert a simple "while (USART1_rx_counter == 0){}" line to my USART1_getchar() function, the initialization of one type of the I2C sensors go wrong. No error or warning messages, the build settings are the defaults. If I put this source to Embitz IDE, it can also build, but this problem does not appear there.So, help me please, what (tipical) kind of errors, mistakes or settings can make this problem and this difference between the two IDE? Or perhaps should it be a (known) bug? CubeIDE is up to date.Thanks,Peter

Datasheet claims that with FSDEF=0 (FS signal is start frame, not channel identificaion) i can set up number of slots (NSBLOT) to any value. In my case 1. CubeMX claims that it must be equal two (which is not true). When i try to set value to 1, then CubeMX show error with info that value need to be less or equal 1... and then forces value to 2 :D ... demonstrated on printscreen.I can change number of slots to 1 in source code and SAI works well. But... you know what happen when i regenerate code ;)

ADC Trigger from Timer,DMA transmit ,and then Always Overrun Error, buffer address @0x30000000.Data can not be transferred to buffer correctly,ADC1 register DR is 0x801 while buffer is 0x01.

Porting a working solution from STM32L031 to STM32G0B1 I try to configure ADC in CubeMX . It is a very simple, typical setup. 3 channels converted in "one shot" mode with DMA, triggered by slow 1Hz timer.All I am getting is HAL_ADC_ErrorCallback(), state: HAL_ADC_STATE_REG_OVR, errorCode: HAL_ADC_ERROR_OVR.Almost identical setup works great on STM32L031.I am stuck and clueless. I am trying to configure the project settings via a script file for a command line build of my STM32CubeMX project and I intend to provide the relative path to the parameter- "project path", "generate code" etc. However, it does not accept the relative path and breaks the command line build.Reference:https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um1718-stm32cubemx-for-stm32-configuration-and-initialization-c-code-generation-stmicroelectronics.pdf(Page-30)I have attached an example script file that I intend to create. I am willing to use STM32G030F6 but VBAT pin is missing as before i was using 32f103 and this got VBAT pin. So my question is for backup register of RTC is there is any dedicated pin in STM32G030F6?

Dear all,I've just bought a B-U585I-IOT02A board which has STM32U585 embedded. So far I was able to run blink examples just fine, but there's no way I can stablish a UART communication with a serial monitor on my PC. Here's what I've tried to transmit a "Hello world" from board to pc:Created the project using CubeMX 6.4.0 , HAL U5 1.0.2, STM CubeIDE 1.8.0.Enabled USART (tried both 1 and 2) with: GPIO No pull up and no pulldown, GPIO Pull up, Maximun output speed low and Baud rate 9600, Maximum output speed high and Baud rate 115200. For all this cases, words were set 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit.In main.c, HAL_UART_Transmit(), HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(), HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA() were used without success.FWIW, I'm programming the board through embedded ST-Link using USB and expecting the UART on the same port. Hello, I am new to STM32 and trying to learn it by migrating from 8 bit PIC. I have started by setting Eclipse environment and created some simple programs. Now I want to use STM32CubeMX but i have problems. I use STM32CubeMX version 5.0.1, and Eclipse 4.9.0. I tried to import it manually following instructions from one book I got, but CubeMX doesn't make and files under Drivers\CMSIS\Device\ST\STM32F4xx\Source\Templates\ and in every instruction it says that it should. Than I tried this tool from github https://github.com/cnoviello/CubeMXImporter . When I use this tool and try to build project in Eclipse a lot of error occurs. If I fix one, new one pops up. Initial error is HAL_TICK_FREQ_DEFAUL undeclared here (not in a function). Problem I can see here, that I can't follow as instructed is that I don't have option Vendor CMSIS name when creating project in Eclipse (I don't know why).I also try importing project direct in eclipse (file -> import) but than no MCU is selected and it

Hello, I'm using STM32CubeMX 5.5.0 and Discovery board for STM32H747XIHx with FreeRTOS. FreeRTOS uses system tick timer and I use TIM7 as Timebase source, but this issue happen also if I use other timers then TIM7. When my *.ioc project is opened and I set TIM7 as Timebase source than I can see "Time base: TIM7 global interrupt" line in NVIC1->Code generation and I can enable to generate IRQ and HAL handler. The problem is when I close the *.ioc file in IDE and open it again (or when I open my whole project) then this line is missing and CubeMX won't generate interrupt or timer handler if I click on generate code button. If I want to have that line in NVIC1->Code generation again, I have to change the Timebase source in SYS to another timer and change it back to my TIM7, than I can see that line in NVIC1->Code generation again and the code is generated correctly. It's not possible to change the application structure in STM32CubeIDE v1.1.0.STM32CubeMX v5.4.0 is installed.The option "Advanced" is always used on every new created projects.

I have an STM32F415VG custom board with a 25MHz external oscillator.I created an empty project with CubeMX setting the clock to use HSE+PLL to have 72MHz SYSCLK. Nothing else is enabled except the Serial Wire Debug port.I import the project in KEIL, build and load it.When I run it, the SystemClock_Config function crashes, loosing debuger connection.I debugged the funcion and found out that the issue arises right after the instruction    /* Enable the main PLL. */    __HAL_RCC_PLL_ENABLE();inside the HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStruct) function.What could be the issue? I neve experienced this.N.B. We have previously used this board for another project and never had an issue like that, the clock config just worked.

Seems like baud rate calculated using last changed APB frequency

migrating old cubemx project in to new version of cubemx will give me errors while i compile it using STM32 CUBE IDE.old project compiled successfully no errors.

I made NUCLEO-L552ZE-Q project with board default setting. And I changed code generator's generated files setting to use "Generate peripheral initialization as a pair of '.c/.h' files per peripheral". Then I generate STM32CubeIDE environment code. It generated basic intialize code, but it did not add [#include "usb.h"] in main.c file, so IDE told me warning about MX_USB_PCD_Init() is not declared. (implicit declaration of function 'MX_USB_PCD_Init'; did you mean 'MX_UCPD1_Init'? [-Wimplicit-function-declaration])
