Hello all ~I have STM32MP157A-EV1 and STM32MP157C-DK2. I want to change system time and keep it. But It is not working well. Below is the test log on EV1.root@stm32mp1:~# date -s "20031025 18:00:00" Sat Oct 25 18:00:00 UTC 2003 root@stm32mp1:~# date Sat Oct 25 18:00:03 UTC 2003 root@stm32mp1:~# root@stm32mp1:~# hwclock --systohc --utc root@stm32mp1:~# hwclock 2003-10-25 18:00:18.632338+00:00 reboot .... root@stm32mp1:~# date Mon Jun 27 03:19:28 UTC 2022Am I miss something?:sad_but_relieved_face: thanks.
Hello everyone ~My custom board has RGB(LTDC) and HDMI display interfaces. We want to display same screen on same time.(duplicate mode)So, LTDC interface connected to local LCD and HDMI transmitter(sii9022).&ltdc node of my dts is below ..&ltdc{ pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep"; pinctrl-0 = <&ltdc_pins_mx>; pinctrl-1 = <&ltdc_sleep_pins_mx>; status = "okay"; /* USER CODE BEGIN ltdc */ port { #address-cells = <1>; #size-cells = <0>; ltdc_ep0_out: endpoint@0 { reg = <0>; remote-endpoint = <&sii9022_in>; }; }; /* USER CODE END ltdc */ };and we can display both screen successfully as below picture. However, unfortunately my LCD`s resolution is 1280x800.and linux platform doesn't have this HDMI resolution mode.so my LCD was displayed as below...Therefore, I want to add 1280x800 mode to HDMI. Is there any guide article on wiki? Thanks a lot !!!
There is an issue with a number of variables in the example machine conf files in the 4.0.0 (Kirkstone) ecosystem. The variable names have been changed in meta-st-stm32mp/conf/machine/include files but have not been changed in the addons layer example machine conf files to match. Hi,me and my team are working on a project on STM32MP1-DK2. While everything is working fine on the previous ecosystrem release (v3.1.0),after updating to the latest release v4.0.0, our demo stop to work, even after recompiling. This is caused by the following code:wl_display * display = wl_display_connect(NULL); if (display == NULL) { std::cout << "can't connect to wayland display" << std::endl; return false; }wl_display_connect keeps returning null and thus I cannot get the current Wayland display. What's more interesting is that even the built-in "weston-info" tool has the same issue and in fact it doesnt work. Can anyone help?Thank you

My TF-A on the stm32mp157f-dk2 is built with all the proper parameters. The FSBL is verified on a fused public key hash, but the device is not closed.I can see that the FSBL has a successful authentication. So I decided to check on the TBB CoT over the fip.I've put TF-A on stm32mp157f-dk2 into LOG_LEVEL=50 (verbose). But I still can't really tell any positive or negative flow from the CoT verification. As far as I can tell, there is negative printouts in the code.So it will probably complain if I get stuff wrong. But right now I can't easily see any positive feedback (like the FSBL one).I think it would be nice, for this high log level, to include some user digestible feedback regarding the TBB CoT process.
Datasheet shows Port I,J,KBut on the design schematic show only max PI11 plus PZ0...PZ7Is there no Pork J/K?
I have a custom Board based on STM32MP157CAC3 MPU. I am connecting MURATA 1DX WiFi+BT Module to SDMMC1 (4bits mode). The connection is exactly similar to stm32mp157c-dk2 board. The device tree is also similar. But the device is not being recognised.Do I have to enable some special flags during kernel compilation?Does Latest Kernel version has support for this 1DX Module. If someone wants to add a similar module AP6236, what will be the process of adding such module in baord.

I did a repo sync to see if there are new version but did not worked after I stopped compiling, started again and it began where it left but moving really slow that particular task.
We are having issues getting USB to work as both ethernet and gadget serial. In kernel configuration, We have the CONFIG_USB_ETH configured as inbuilt and CONFIG_USB_G_SERIAL as inbuilt as shown below. ## USB Gadget precomposed configurations#CONFIG_USB_ETH=yCONFIG_USB_ETH_RNDIS=yCONFIG_USB_G_SERIAL=y# end of USB Gadget precomposed configurationsInitially we do not see the dev/ttyGS0 appearing, however when we do ifconfig -a we see usb0 appear. Now we run the stm32_usbotg_eth_config.sh script which assigned it an IP address and we are able to ssh into the target device. The script also bring up /dev/ttyGS0. The windows PC shows the VCOM port enumerated, but when the PC application tries to open the COM port it throws up "A device attached to the system is not functioning. Operating system error code 31".Also when we disconnect the USB cable and connect it back the windows cannot recognize it and the console in target logs the following statement"[ 6858.235935] dwc2 49000000.us
When we tried the shutdown command ( shutdown -hP now ) from the debug console, all the PMIC regulators are turned off, except for the BUCK3 VDD regulator used for IO.Both our custom board which uses STPMIC1E and the STM32MP157F-eval board which has STPMIC1A have the same behavior. Is there any configuration which is not letting it to be turned off?Any help is much appreciated.
Hello,I try to install the distribution package usingrepo init -u https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/oe-manifest.git -b refs/tags/openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.06.15as described in the wiki, before that made sure to install all packages mentioned in the prerequisites page. The command fails with: File "/home/steffen/Kirkstone/Distribution-Package/openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.06.15/.repo/repo/main.py", line 79 file=sys.stderr) ^SyntaxError: invalid syntaxI am using Ubuntu 20.1, my python version is 3.8.10Does anyone know what I am missing? Thanks!
Is there a walk-through or example of how to setup secure boot using a custom device tree?As a side note, the following page returns "Permission Error", is that expected behaviour?https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP15_secure_boot
Hello,When I tried using fseek and getc functions for my project the MP1 failed to execute their code. The execution stops at lines that contain __IO_acquire_lock(fp) and __IO_need_lock(fp) macros and then terminates in the fseek and getc functions respectively. I also tried other file handling functions such as fread and fwrite and they also fail. Is there anyway to solve this issue?thanks for any answers
Is HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA supported on STM32MP15 products? If so is there an example for using it?
We created the project for the M4 with CubeMX. We use FreeRTOS with CMSIS_V2 and OpenAMP as Middleware. We assigned TIM1, TIM2 and TIM3 to the M4 and use TIM1 as SYS Timebase Source. The program runs fine if started with fw_cortex_m4.sh or with the SW4STM32 menu "Run As".But if we try to debug with "Debug As", osKernelStart returns osErrorISR in both Engineering and Production mode. But osKernelStart is in the main function. Also if we create a Mutex it returns NULL. Both functions "fail" on IS_IRQ.This is a very similar question. From there i used the code to read the IPSR, it is already 41 at the beginning of the main function. If i don't initialize TIM1 so that no interrupts from TIM1 can occur IPSR is 14 at the start of main.If i apply the "patch" from this question IPSR is 0 but the creation of RPMsg channels with VIRT_UART_Init fails with:[ 3044.562749] virtio_rpmsg_bus virtio0: creating channel rpmsg-tty-channel addr 0x0 [ 3044.568797] virtio_rpmsg_bus virtio0: channel rpmsg-tty-ch
I have the M4 core using a UART core to send and receive data using DMA. This works just fine but over time after 30-60min the core crashes/locks up and reinitializing the UART channel does not help at all it actually crashes the sytem. Under normal operation the reinitialization sequence works properly. The only thing I can get debug-wise is the gState which shows up as 0x21, and the state never changes after the lock-up. Reloading the m4 firmware from a7 side does not help and the UART core is broken until I do a system reboot.Under normal operation, I do get the UART error callback triggered and the error code is 0x10, but the tx and rx continue to work without any action required. Is there any sequence for resetting the UART physical core to recover without a reboot? Are there any known reasons why the UART core would lock up after extended use?
I am trying to configure a DMA stream to capture the RX channel of a UART core on the m4, however, I get very undesirable behaviour.I am trying to set up a circular rx buffer that is of size 10 since the data coming back is of multiples of 5. Unfortunately, I don't get the trigger at half full for many seconds, and when I finally deinit the uart and DMA and abort any tx or rx the half transfer complete callback finally comes. If I change the dma receive size to 8 I get the trigger at half full (4), so is there a limitation or alignment problem?static void MX_USART3_UART_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN USART3_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END USART3_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN USART3_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END USART3_Init 1 */ huart3.Instance = USART3; huart3.Init.BaudRate = 2500000; huart3.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_9B; huart3.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart3.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_NONE; huart3.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX; huart3.Init.Hw

Using hexdump /dev/input/event1, you can see the data changes. when I use ts_ test command, "open fbdevice: no such file or directory" will appear. Please help me, I really don't know how to configure it.I am sure that the touch screen monitoring is correct and the data is uploaded correctly.
Hi! I am trying to enable PTP on STM32F157 DK2 evaluation board.
