Hello,When generating code from ioc editor with "STM32_WPAN": "BLE" and "BLE Application Type": "Router profile", but "Rounter Mode": "Disabled", the app_conf.h file is generated with error in line 303: enum not completed: /**< Add in that list all tasks that may send a ACI/HCI command */typedef enum{/**< Add in that list all tasks that never send a ACI/HCI command */typedef enum{BRPaul
I have CubeMX installed and when selecting SMT32WL family I get three BGA devices to select, but when I want to start a project based on these,I get the error: "STM32CubeMX cannot load this Mcu"I have CubeMX 6.0.1 and all packages installed.I would also prefer to have the QFN package in the tool, because that is the device I want to use on my boards.
Hi, ST team!My customer uses STM32WB55 in their development and recently he faced with following issue. When the WB into the standby - OK. After out from standby mode all peripherals need repetitive initialization (processes, clocks, memory etc.), but CPU2 is already in work mode (C2DS=0 and CRPF=1) and doesn't completely communicate with CPU1 (into the interrupt IPCC_C1_RX_IRQHandler doesn't in).We have been found the solution of this issue on ST community. There is a soft reset as I mentioned.Could you please to advice how to avoid soft reset? Thanks in advance!

can anyone guide me to how can we do this?
Hi all,Could someone help me to clarify about the power consumption of STM32WB55CG, I can't see the difference between 2 series STM32WB55Cx and STM32WB55Rx related to "Low power modes". But in my case, I can put STM32WB55Rx (In Nucleo board) to Stop 2 mode with only 2.5uA consumption but it cost 60uA with the STM32WB55Cx once (USB dongle). Here is the code I extracted from the ST ExampleLL_C2_PWR_SetPowerMode(LL_PWR_MODE_SHUTDOWN); /* Configure all GPIO port pins in Analog Input mode (floating input trigger OFF) */ /* Note: Debug using ST-Link is not possible during the execution of this */ /* example because communication between ST-link and the device */ /* under test is done through UART. All GPIO pins are disabled (set */ /* to analog input mode) including UART I/O pins. */ GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStructure; GPIO_InitStructure.Pin = GPIO_PIN_All; GPIO_InitStructure.Mode = GPIO_MODE_ANALOG; GPIO_InitStructure.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOA, &GPIO_In
I have successfully adapted On_Off Zigbee examples for my project. Both router and coordinator works well together. However, the router cannot pair with other coordinator (standard coordinator for Zigbee2mqtt ).I am new for Zigbee. Please give me some hints. Thank you very much for your kind support.
SBSFU 2.4.0 initializes CPU2 in all cases (for a good reason, locking the AES Key used for decryting the firmware image(s) )When trying to set a HSE tune value (neccessary for proper Bluetooth connectivity) in the application (and also in my loader), the procedure hangs on stopping HSE and waiting for the HSERDY bit to become reset.I tracked it down to the very moment the PWR->CR4, PWR_CR4_C2BOOT is set. The HSEON bit is not set at any time I could observe it. From RM0434: "This bit cannot be reset if the HSE oscillator is used directly or indirectly as the systemclock."So while HSERDY is set after C2BOOT i can still set HSEON to 1 and 0 as I wish (without influence on HSERDY). Only after I select HSE as a system clock source, I can't reset HSEON anymore. This lets me believe that the HSERDY bit staying on is indeed a bug, and not caused by it accidentially being selected as a clock source.Does CPU2 / BLE Wireless Stack initialize HSE? Why does it make HSERDY stick to be SET? Is it
Hi.I'm wondering about discrepancies in antenna dimensions between AN5129 application note and the actual board - Nucleo MB1335. As you can see the differences are subtle but visible. I'm mostly curious about why the antenna width varies? Widths at different spots I was able to measure: 0.4mm, 0.425mm, 0.45mm, 0.475mm, 0.5mm.Also, the gap between parallel arms varies between 0.725mm and 0.75mm, which is different than 0.8 specified in the app note.Is there a reason for that or is it simply a mistake while doing a layout? I can see that the antenna wasn't defined as library component but rather drew as a polygon.
Hello! I'm working with an STM32-WB55 nucleo board and trying to put the board into sleep mode. In trying to plan the clocks, I've been working with the *.ioc file to figure out a way to make it work so I know what clock settings to use to put in in low power sleep mode (which requires a sysclk of under 2 MHz). I have two basic problems:1) If I get my sysclk down below 2 MHz, I get a warning with HCLK1 (which has to be over 14 Mhz, according to the framework)2) I'm not sure if my proposed solution to get down to 2 MHz is the best approach (it looks like it will work but wasn't sure if this is the best approach)I'm going to attach my current setup:Here is the generated code:void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = {0}; /** Macro to configure the PLL multiplication factor */ __HAL_RCC_PLL_PLLM_CONFIG(RCC_PLLM_DIV2); /** Macro to configure the PLL clo
Using the STM32 Nucleo WB55. Struggling with the OTA examples. None of the three OTA examples seem to work for me. When I program the non-OTA version, the device starts advertising and I can connect to it. But with the OTA version, I see no advertising packets and the power usage shows no network traffic.

Hello,Can I use STM32WB as master/slave at the same time? Our project requests the product to talk with cell phone and other accessories at the same time. If so, is there an example I can refer to?Thank you very much!
CUBE and MX do support STM32WL CPU's *but not* the above mentioned development board. So we need eitherdetailed instruction how to setup the IDE to work with the board ora link to an updated version of one of these IDE's.Question is related to Cube 1.4.2 / MX 6.0.1Thank you.
Hello,I'm trying to get the advertising state from a new Cube MX project.I followed the step by step, did all the initializations and compare with the P2Pserver exemple.Everythings seem to be ok but I can't get this state work.It seems that the program stay blocked (Program received signal SIGINT, Interrupt.) in infinite loop when it tries executing SCH_Run() for the first time .The IRQ occurs just after the "SuperMask &= mask_bm;" line in SCH_Run()Because of that, the program doesn't execute APP_BLE_Init( void ) and I can't get the advertising state, so the program doesn't go into the round_robin loop. It is as if "SCH_RegTask( CFG_TASK_SYSTEM_HCI_ASYNCH_EVT_ID, shci_user_evt_proc );" in "appe_Tl_Init()" didn't register the task well. Thanks you for helping me.
Good DayI am programming a stm32wb55rg to start upDo some ADC samplingStart up BLE using APPE_Init(); Load all values in characteristic. And then i sit in loop running:UTIL_SEQ_Run( UTIL_SEQ_DEFAULT );After 60 seconds I put device in standby mode. I am happy using standby mode and have device have to reset completely when wakeup. I Use a check on power up to see if device is woken up from standby, NVIC_SystemReset(); The device works great and my standby wakeup is RTC clock for 15 minutes.I also want to wake up device using wakeup pin 3.I have a 100k external pull down resistor on this pin. When I use a bare program wakeup pin works 100%As soon as i add UTIL_SEQ_Run( UTIL_SEQ_DEFAULT ); to my while loop , wakeup pin does NOT wake up mcu anymore. While RTC wakeup from standby works. Here is my standby code ,partly taken from standby example:/------------------------- /* The Following Wakeup sequence is highly
I need to select a chip that offers me a BLE 5.0. What is the advantage of using STM32WB chips, rather than using other modules like Telit, Ebyte etc. Okay STM32 has CubeMX and easy implementation just as said in application notes, workshops etc. but in forums, people are complaining about how to make a simple custom BLE service on later firmware packages. What is ST's strategy? While there are a lot of modules that have bunch of "beginner" application notes and simple USART protocol, why would I select STM32WB?Just asking for company. No offense, big fan of ST.Thanks.Edit: The project that I'm working on is now divided into two ways: I will choose STM32WB or, standard STM32 chip + BLE module.
Hi all,I am looking for a library use with B-L072Z-LRWAN1 for Lora comm between two kits. Is there any library for this including only Lora libraries not Lorawan?Thanks.Selim.
Hello,NUCLEO-WB55 cannot connect to STM32CubeProgrammer. But STM32CubeProgrammer found ST-LINK. And I could upgrade ST-LINK Firmware. STM32CubeProgrammer indicated "10:44:57 : ST-LINK error (DEV_CONNECT_ERR)".Please check attachment image.Please let us know the case of this issue.Version information:STM32CubeProgrammer v2.5.0ST-Link firmware version: V2J37M26Best Regards,Tsutsumi
Hi, When I looked for procedure to update with OTA, I didn't find any code indicating address of software image source to FUS. SHCI_C2_FUS_FwUpgrade(0,0) (in app_entry.c) seems indicate 0 on source, and 0 on destination. So I'm wondering how the FUS find the source address of soft image to load during à OTA update. Thanks in advance !Matthieu
No idea on how to resolve this problem. If I compile and run without the board the message is error on init the sensor board. Any clues?
Hello everybody,my project is composed by a RX board and one/many TX boards (max 3). Every board uses CMWX1ZZABZ-078 module. The TX boards transmit asynchronously to the RX board a payload of 32 bytes (they are temperature IR sensors which communicate with the central unit(.After some hours of work I clearly see the RX Done IRQ pin (SX1276 DIO0) that goes HIGH to trigger the RX Callback on STM32L082 but it never goes back down, it's like the interrupt flag is never cleared. Could it be a problem of many interrupts occuring in the same moment?I've seen that the "workaround" for the problem is DeIniti and re-Init the IRQ Pins between SX1276 and STM32 but I really can't figure out what is that causes the problem.Thank you in advance for the support.Andrea
Hi,I am writing an external flash loader for the STM32WB55RGVx using a Macronix 64Mbit QSPI NOR Flash (MX25R6435F).I have had some success following the "MOOC - External QSPI loader how to" youtube video series by ST and the example code for memory mapped QSPI available in the "STM32Cube MCU Package" downloaded from ST website.Using the example code modified to my custom board I am able to erase, write, and read memory-mapped from the FLASH.However, when I use the created External loader (based on the example code and video series) I am able to read the FLASH using the STM32 CubeProgrammer, but the first 2 bytes are always 0 even when the flash has been erased only.I also found that the Errata sheet for STM32WB (ES0394) rev. 7 lists some issues with the Quad SPI and I am wondering if there are some additional issues with the QSPI and certain FLASH memories.Has anyone had success writing an external FLASH loader for the STM32WB or experiences with QSPI FLASH that may help me?Any help wi
Hi, I apologize in advance for my English (I'm French)I'm begginer with OTA. So I followed instruction from AN5247. All of the following procedure uses file from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.8.0 folder. I downloaded last FUS and BLE stack on my Nucleo board and my Dongle. I loaded the binary file of BLE_TransparentModeVCP on my Dongle, and loaded the binary file of BLE_p2pServer_ota on my board starting 0x08007000 (So this binary is already configured to enable OTA).After that, I have launched STM32CubeMonitor-RF, I have started communication with dongle thanks to the right port. I have selected OTA update from "device" menu. The searching for devices procedure works correctly and I find my board with the "OTA Enabled". The issue is following : I load image file path from my folder (HeartRate_OTA for exemple), and click on update, but after some seconds, it's print "No Response"...I don't understand why.Is someone have any idea ? Thanks in advance
