I am using a STM32WB55xx controller for my project. I am trying to implement the capacitive touch behavior to detect button press on rising edge and button release on falling edge (please see document attached for details)Q1. Will the Touch Sensing Controller (TSC) peripheral support this behavior ?Q2. Can I use TSC in interrupt mode for this? If yes, which callback ID should I be using from the following:typedef enum { HAL_TSC_CONV_COMPLETE_CB_ID = 0x00UL, /*!< TSC Conversion completed callback ID */ HAL_TSC_ERROR_CB_ID = 0x01UL, /*!< TSC Error callback ID */ HAL_TSC_MSPINIT_CB_ID = 0x02UL, /*!< TSC Msp Init callback ID */ HAL_TSC_MSPDEINIT_CB_ID = 0x03UL /*!< TSC Msp DeInit callback ID */ } HAL_TSC_CallbackIDTypeDef;Thank you,Arshiya Tabassum
Hi allMaybe you can help me understand something about the IPCC.From my understanding: In case CPU2(BlackBox) sends the CPU1 an command:CPU2(BLE) -----RX occupied ISR -----> CPU1(APP), look in Queue to get the user event.: CPU1(APP) --------TX free ISR---------> CPU2(BLE) , where is the data??When CPU1 (APP) gets a user event from CPU2, It sends a response to CPU2 in a form of TX free ISR is sent. Where is the data of that event?Thanks.P.s. I see that in the opposite direction the data is stored in pCmdBuffer

Hi, I am doing a project based on beacon tracking. For that, I have to detect the beacon and find the RSSI of received beacon using STM32WB board. Is there any possibilities to find out the RSSI value? and how can approximate the distance between both using RSSI?
Hi, into the SMT32CubeIDE is it possible to migrate code from STM32F1xx to ST32WB families?I mean, using the same basic code of the F103 and adding the BLE of the WB family? Thanks for any replyMaurizioPS: in case, is there any migration app note?
Hi,Now using Zigbee on STM32WB, and try to send a command to multiple nodes on broadcast or group addressing. Is there any way to check whether packets are received via-router or directly? Thank you.
I have 3 Nucleo-WL55JC1 boards and tried to activate the bootloader as AN2606.As an AN2606, it should activate the bootloader if there is pattern 13. When I have set the BOOT1 and nSWBOOT0 to 1(Checked on STM32CubeProgrammer GUI), and connected BOOT0 pin to VCC, then reset the board, but it still runs the user flash. Also set BOOT1 to 1, nSWBOOT0 to 0 and BOOT0 to GND, then reset, but same. It's very weird and couldn't find the same issue on the forum. Is there any typo on the reference or am I confusing?Any reply would be appreciated.Thank you.
Hello,I have a question concerning STM32WB55 MCU. We are using it, and use SWD as debug, without advanced debug features (traces). We are now facing complex bugs, and I would like to activate traces on that MCU for the M4 Core.We do not have TRACE pins routed, so ETM use is not possible. I have seen that ETB/MTB (Embedded Trace Buffer/Micro Trace Buffer) can be activated. If I understand well, this allows core to trace little amount of instructions execution, in a RAM area, which is dumped by the debugger.I did not managed to get it work, but it seems that this ETB/MTB is not available for that MCU. Can someone confirm ?Is there other mean of advanced debugging, to better know execution history before a crash ? Other than classic SWO printf. Thanks a lotCamille
Does anyone know if there is a table or some reference which shows how many bytes each binary will consume on the target STM32WB's Flash memory?
We have STM32WL working well on LoRa together with Teseo-liv3f Nucleo boards. We now need to have it to sleep for low power between tasks. Our software is based on the LoRaWAN_AT_Slave example. In there we can allow everything to go into sleep mode 2. Hwever we find that after coming out of sleep mode the I2C bus used for the Teseo-liv3f remains in a busy state, the clk and data lines are both high so not busy, we have also tried a delay before access but still no go. Are there any issues with this?
I have the STM32WL LoraWan_End_Node example working, but I don't understand the code with UTIL_SEQ_Run(UTIL_SEQ_DEFAULT); Where can I change the payload to send an ADC value to TTN?
As dragino lg02 is able to transmit the packets just in 1 frequency e.g. 868200000 would you please clarify the steps for prototyping wl55c-lorawan-endnode from the beginning to end with cubeIDE for the single channel GW ?
Hi all,Im using the STM32WB as client to send some measurement data to my phone or pc application. Communication works fine and now I'm trying to reduce the power a bit and want to change the connection interval to high when I'm sending much data.I'm using the call aci_l2cap_connection_parameter_update_req() from task context as shown in p2pServer example (STM32CubeWB-1.9.0) . I notice in the p2pServer example that when connected to my phone and I press the btn2 to update the connection interval it will not always call the " EVT_BLUE_L2CAP_CONNECTION_UPDATE_RESP " while the change seems to be applied (looking with STM32cubePowerMonitor). But the mutex is not reset, meaning the connection cannot be reset again. For now instead of a mutex I used a delay that's long enough to apply the change. Which is ok for the mobile andriod app "ble scanner" (i can see on power monitor the interval change and get all the data) .However my pc application (working with a bluegiga dongle) does apply the c
I'm debuging thread application(On P-Nucleo with STM32WB) in order to know how thread core manages adresses, but when i start to debug, the program starts to be flashed on the board, and i can't even know how adresses are maneged. Can anybody help me about this issue ?
Hi,The AN5185 in "FUS upgrade" part says that FUS can be updated even with wireless stack installed. According to release notes start address for FUS should be 0x080EC000, but if a wireless stack is installed (for example BLE) this area will be locked (SFSA will be 0x080ca000). So, do we need to delete the wireless stack before FUS installation?
Hi everyone. I'm new to STM32WB and using P-NUCLEO-WB55. I wonder that how can i scan ble device near by and read their rssi. Can any body show me the way. Sorry for my bad english.

Hello! I've been working with the STM32WB55 Nucleo development board for a while and it looks like when it was setup, it was setup for 512 kB of flash, though all documents online seem to suggest it should have 1M of flash. The chip on the development board is an STM32WB55RGVx (VFQFPN68). According to this link, it does have 1M of flashhttps://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32wb-series.html#productsI initialized it in STM32CubeIDE in pack 1.3 originally, so maybe this is an outdated issue? Regardless, this is what it shows in my linker file:/* Specify the memory areas */ MEMORY { FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 512K RAM1 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000004, LENGTH = 0x2FFFC RAM_SHARED (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20030000, LENGTH = 10K }Based on this, I assume I should be able to just change 512K to 1024K, clean, and rebuild but I thought I'd check in here and find out:1) Is it as simple as changing the code from 512K to 1024K and I'm ready to go or is there a reason it's s
I'd like to use the Nucleo example with a different MCU. Is there an built-in tool for this?
Hi,I'm using the STM32WB5M Discovery kit and I'm integrating the USB-VCP library with th power control. After the wake-up from the STOP 1 Mode the USB-VCP doesn't work (I don't receive the characters send using the function CDC_Transmit_FS), after some tests I resolve adding MX_USB_DEVICE_Stop() before to go into stop mode and adding MX_USB_DEVICE_Start() after the wake-up. Is it correct? Does it Exist some other procedure to manage the USB-VCP with the STOP 1 Mode? With this configuration I can't wake-up the MCU sending character throught the VCP, how can I resolve?Regards,Giampietro
Hey guys,Im running into some issues with trying to set the clock speed of my stm32wb55 chip above 32MHz on my custom board.Here is my baremetal startup code that works using MSI as sysclkvoid __attribute__((naked)) Reset_Handler() { __asm__("ldr r0, =_estack\n\t" "mov sp, r0"); // Copy data section from flash memory to ram uint32_t data_section_size = _edata - _sdata; memcpy(_sdata, _sidata, data_section_size*4); // Zero out bss uint32_t bss_section_size = _ebss - _sbss; memset(_sbss, 0, bss_section_size*4); // Set Interrupt Vector Table Offset SCB->VTOR = (uint32_t)interrupt_vector_table; rcc_reset(); RCC->CR &= ~(RCC_CR_MSIRANGE); // RCC_MSI_CLOCK_SPEED_32MHz = 0xa RCC->CR |= RCC_MSI_CLOCK_SPEED_32MHz << RCC_CR_MSIRANGE_Pos; main(); }However if I change line 20 to this:// RCC_MSI_CLOCK_SPEED_48MHz = 0xB RCC->CR |= RCC_MSI_CLOCK_SPEED_48MHz << RCC_CR_MSIRANGE_Pos;My program will refuse to run. hello, I downloaded Subghz_phy_pingpong example and i opened the project file.Then i opened main.c . it looks like in the picture below. i think its empty or did i opened in wrong way?
I am trying to make the make the thread command line application on my custom board that communicates through the usb. In the WPAN configuration in CubeMX there does not seem to be an option that turns on CFG_USB_INTERFACE_ENABLE. Does anyone know how to turn this on?
