STM32 MCUs Wireless

I am using the newest version of the IDE (1.7.0) and related tools. I try to generate a BLE application (server) from scratch using CubeMx. One service with two characteristics. When I try this out, I can see the advertisment on a BLE client (nRF Connect running on iPad). When trying to connect, this does not come to an end. I tried out several with several ST BLE examples and it had the same effect.Then I updated the BLE core FW to the newest version V1.12.1.. This doesn´t have any positive effect.It seems to be something wrong with the acutal BLE CubeMx implementation, but as I am new on the BLE its difficult for me where to search for the reason.

I am trying to building Mesh network using P-NUCLEO-WB55 board. I want to interact with proxy node using windows application to assign the "AppKey". So I am looking for sample of mesh network windows application source code in C# to access and assign the "Appkey" and collect the data at windows 10 platform using P-NUCLEO-WB55 Dongle or without using P-NUCLEO-WB55 Dongle...

AN5185 provides a lot of good information on upgrading the FUS, but I don't see the files on the website. Or in any of the STM32Cube_FW_WB_ versions.

when we design a ble central device ,which is an stm32wb55mcu , we are confused how to terminate a BLE connection.the api "hci_disconnect()" "aci_gap_terminate()" seems likes for the peripheral device. And when i call it , it blocked and not return.looking forward to your reply, and thanks for the help!

Hello, I've got myself a few STM32WLE5CCU6 custom PCB's which I'm trying to develop a LoRa program for. Ive had a look around and cant seem to find any good example bits of code on how to actually set up the radio. STM32 CUBE IDE has an example project but its very cryptic and hard to use, anyone know how to get it working in some way? Any other help or examples would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Everyone, I am working on project which requires BLE, using HSE and LSE both I am able to advertise and communicate to client Application. But the hardware don't has any external oscillator for LSE. The issue I am facing is my device is able to advertise but i am unable to connect with device for communication.

I'm working on STM32WB5MM Discovery Kit for Zigbee Application with STM32WPAN stack on STM32CubeIDE and CubeMX. I'm stuck at the step of stack initialization where inside "ZbInit", "ZIGBEE_CmdTransfer()" function is called.Here a command is transmitted fomr M4 to M0+ core and then the code waits for acknowledgement with function "Wait_Getting_Ack_From_M0". This is where the code is stuck, waiting for acknowledgement.I'm not understanding why the acknowledgement is not received. IPCC init/enable process was successful as System Ready Event was received after TL_Enable().Please help.

I have STM32WB55 Nucleo Development Kit. I am trying to understand how to use Zigbee. I need to create "Centralised Network" and transmit data from End Devices to Server. How can I transmit data? Does any examples to transmit data from End Device to Server?Also will be helpfull any "Application notes", "User manuals".

Hi,In a BLE mesh, I want to send vendor commands from the vendor client node to the vendor server node and get responses and notifications from the server node. I also need to set the publish and subscribe addresses of the vendor client node.But there isn't any vendor client in the SDK. I tried to implement it but there is no effect.How do I test it ? or is there any way I can develop it ?or is it going to be available in next commit or so ?Kindly help me.Thanks.

Hi, I wanna use STM32WL for 148-152Mhz. But I cannot out 13dBm power for RFO_LP.If anyone know Zopt impedance for 150MHz ins this IC, you let me know it. Off course 169MHz is no problem. Almost of application note is written over 433MHz.Thanks.

Is it possible to integrate BLE OTA functionalities into BLE LLD projects? For example, we would like to make the BLE_LLD_Proximity example OTA compatibile, which however requires the FW stm32wb5x_BLE_LLD_fw.bin, while the BLE Ota bootloader example requires the FW stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin to work. Or is there a Ble Ota LLD example project that works with FW stm32wb5x_BLE_LLD_fw.bin? Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

I am Attaching Observed Current Consumptions. I am observing Huge Difference between claimed current value versus observed current value at various low power modes. I am having right Connections as mentioned in Power Consumption measurement board Datasheet just to measure only current consumptions at Microcontroller and not at other devices such as Regulator, STLink, SMPS and so on which are present on STM32WB55.Please Correct me if am wrong or Suggest me the exact connections to measure exact current at Microcontroller.Thanks in Advance.

I'm trying to run broadcasting mode on the base off BLE_P2PServer example and instead of aci_gap_set_discoverable in app_ble.c, in "Adv_Request" function, I'm trying to use the below function:  aci_gap_set_broadcast_mode( Min_Inter, Max_Inter, ADV_NONCONN_IND, PUBLIC_ADDR, sizeof(manuf_data), manuf_data, 10, white_list_broadcasting);As a result I'm getting 0x46 = BLE_STATUS_NOT_ALLOWED.May I ask for any support of how to set the broadcasting mode?

Hello,There's a degradation in flash erase during BLE connection use-case between release 1.11.1 and 1.12.0.On 1.12.0 flash erase operation will cause the BLE client to disconnect (timeout).Same user code just the different FW version - 1.11.1 works, 1.12.0 does not. Its the same flow since the introduction SEM7 mechanism around 1.5.0 release.Tested on stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw (STM32WB55)I couldn't find a mention for behavior change in the release notes, nor in related examples (BLE_RfWithFlash) so I assume its an unintentional issue.Thanks in advance

On the site of Rising hf i found a solution: "STM32Nucleo_ATCmd_Bridge-v0.1.3-20170920.bin". This file is impossible to find online. I tryed a usb- serial comunication with the sensor shield, but i can only recive data and not sending them. The lorawan shield of Rising hf it's impossible to reach. i don't know how can i install a new firmware on  NUCLEO-L073RZ to comunicate with the module.

i am trying to implement I2C for the LPS33HW Sensor in the LoraWAN endnode application. I know that the STM32WL55JC in the IDLE Mode it is going into the STOP2 Mode. Therefore i defined the i2c3 because it can be woken up without a lose. The Clock for the I2C3 is the HSI16 because it is referred to the RM0453 reference manual.Im inizializing the I2C in the sys_app.c at the bottom of the SystemApp_Init, also i enable the Wakeup of the hi2c3 by setting the WUPEN of the register to 1.i registered the task to read a the sensor value as a schedule task, created a timer for 9000 ms and started the timer. I'm giving the value which the value has read to a global variable. After the Mac sending, the MCU is stopping and there is no process anymore. And thats the question is there something i dont see or overlook ?
