Hi guys,I am working with the LoRaWAN_End_Node example provided in STM32WL SDK. I want to set up the calendar and get the time and date. The example itself initializes the RTC in rtc.c. Then I set the time and date and I call getTime and getDate from the main.cMy problem is that the time does not update and the seconds are always 0 as shown in the image below.However, when I create a fresh new project the calendar works fine. But when I work with the End_Node example it doesn't. I have also read AN5406 but I didn't find any related information.Any help?rtc.c file/* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ void setTime(void) { sTime.Hours = 16; sTime.Minutes = 0; sTime.Seconds = 0; sTime.DayLightSaving = RTC_DAYLIGHTSAVING_NONE; sTime.StoreOperation = RTC_STOREOPERATION_RESET; if (HAL_RTC_SetTime(&hrtc, &sTime, RTC_FORMAT_BIN) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } } void setDate(void) { sDate.WeekDay = RTC_WEEKDAY_SATURDAY; sDate.Month = RTC_MONTH_AUGUST; sDate.Date = 13; sDate.Year =
Hi,Every time I attempt to flash the BLE wireless stack to the chip or I try to perform a mass erase I receive the same error and the USB dongle disconnects.FYI - I have successfully been able to upgrade the FUS version with no issue:I attach the logs for both the Wireless stack fail and the chip mass erase fails. Not sure how to export the options byte (incase they are useful information here) so some guidance on that would be appreciate also. Thanks very much!
Here is the output of STM32CubeIDE on flashing the custom board:On STM32CubeProgrammer I am not able to consistently get a connection (by hitting the connect button). There are some instances if the configuration is set to "Shared" mode that the device connects but there is no way to write/read to the FUS or perform any flashing. Here's some screenshots of the outputs I've seen while attempting to write to the FUS using Programmer: I've had a hard time figuring out how to approach debugging this issue since I have not been able to get consistent results. Any advice or suggestions is much appreciated, thank you.
Hi, I'm new here and a beginner on STM32WB15 MCU. Currently, I'm having an issue related to STMCubeIDE, trying to activate resources for this MCU.Please, can somebody explain why I can't enable AES cryptography with STM32_WPAN?If it's not possible really to do it, there is a form to use this kind of cryptography over STM32_WPAN APIs? I'm searching for technical documents, but, until now, I didn't find anything. Thanks very much
Hi, I'm having issues with RTC Alarm in Lora application. My RTC configuration works correctly when I run program configure only RTC. When I use Lora with RTC timer, the alarms not working. I use Sub-GHz Phy PingPong but I want Lora send and receive data while the alarms interrupt issue therefore I configure RTC in CUBEMX as free running BCD calendar mode. Does anyone have any tips what the issue might be? Thanks
Hello,I have a problem updating the Wireless Stack on STM32WB55CGU6 on a custom board. The board is basically a cloned version of the P-NUCLEO-WB55-USBDONGLE. The device is connected via SWD on St-Link/V2.FUS Version is already on v1.2 from Factory, but there is no STACK installed.Whenever I try to install a new BLE Stack, there are two possibilities:Either a ‘Error: FUS_STATE_ERR_UNKNOWN’ or everything appears to go fine, showing ‘success’. But either way, afterwards it appears there is no STACK installed. This is exactly the same for different Wireless Bundles and different Version Numbers.I tried 1.13.1, 1.13.3, 1.14.0 and 1.14.1 with stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin, stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_light_fw.bin and stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_extended_fw.binThe strange part is, that it already worked on one board, doing exactly the same thing! But it doesn’t matter how many times I try, it doesn’t work on the other boards. It is exactly the same thing when trying to update the STACK with the CLI Prog
The ADS_DRDY signal (data ready signal) can be judged by the external edge interrupt method(HAL_GPIO_EXTI_CALLBACK) and reading the state of this pin(HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(ADS_DRDY_GPIO_Port, ADS_DRDY_Pin)).For the second readpin method, how should I write the program?Currently I only know about external trigger (HAL_GPIO_EXTI_CALLBACK) and virtual timer (HW_TS_Start), but I don't know how to read the AS_DRDY pin state and send notification program in the task scheduler (I don't think the above two methods are applicable).

HiI am new here using STM32WB55. I am writing drivers and API for GPIO and interrupt. But I'm facing some difficulty to find the pin for SYCFG to enable clock in APB2ENR. SYCFG is connected to the APB2 bus and when I use APB2ENR to enable SYCFG clock but in reference manual there is no pin declared for to enable SYCFG clock . Can you help me how to enable clock for system configuration. Thank
i need transfer data from node to gateway where data is taken from peer to peer from another node what i should do for that ?
I just change from gpio_raising_it to gpio falling_it(PC11). When I use raising edge interruption, all is well. When I use falling edge interruption, my led still can toggle, just can't find ble device. So I think my board can work, it's just a bluetooth problem.
Hi,My problem is that I have "no stm32 traget found" message when I try to connect to a board by SWD through a ST-Link/v2 (no board identified). On oscilloscope, when we look on SWDIO pin, a little event happens when initializing connection on stm32cubeprogrammer but then nothing. Can it be a problem with the deisgn itself ? Just by the schematics, would you see a problem ? It's a stm32wb30ce I have a custom board with this connections for SWD programming :These pins are connected like this on the MCU : Do you see a problem on the schematic to program this MCU by SWD ?Here are the VDD parts in case the problem is there : Thanks
I used STM32WB55RGV6 to make a board (BLE server), the USB dongle is used as (BLE client), and then the USB dongle is output to the computer through the serial port. I need to further organize and categorize this data, and then display it as a real-time ecg waveform. Originally wanted to use stm32cubeMonitor to do it, but there is no good example, is there any good way to achieve it?
I'm currently working on stm32WLE5(RAK3172) for that module, and I'm using SDK 1.0.0V 1) In that LoRaWAN stack for battery reading implementation, we are noticing that the ADC initialization & de-initialization happening every time.My question is, why do we need to De-initialize every time? Instead, the initialization can happen only one time before the while loop. So that we don't need to de-initialize & initialize every time.We are observing that the battery value is constant if we implement it like the previous scenario.Kindly support this. Thanks in advance!
Hello, I'm trying to make a Zigbee application for a battery powered device (currently using the ZHA integration on Home Assistant) and I am having trouble to set the attribute for a battery power source, (it seems to be stuck on the default of Mains), however setting the manufacturer and model strings are working.static const struct ZbZclAttrT optional_attr_list[] = { { ZCL_POWER_CONFIG_ATTR_BATTERY_VOLTAGE, ZCL_DATATYPE_UNSIGNED_8BIT, ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_REPORTABLE | ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_PERSISTABLE, 0, NULL, {0, 100}, {10, 300} }, { ZCL_POWER_CONFIG_ATTR_BATTERY_PCT, ZCL_DATATYPE_UNSIGNED_8BIT, ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_REPORTABLE | ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_PERSISTABLE, 0, NULL, {0, 100}, {10, 300} } }; static void APP_ZIGBEE_ConfigEndpoints(void) { struct ZbApsmeAddEndpointReqT req; struct ZbApsmeAddEndpointConfT conf; memset(&req, 0, sizeof(req)); /* Endpoint: SW1_ENDPOINT */ req.profileId = ZCL_PROFILE_HOME_AUTOMATION; req.deviceId = ZCL_DEVICE_SIMPLE_SE
Hi everyone,I use STM32WB55 with the BLE stack 13.0 (full version) and want to test the RF. In the an5270 document, I noticed the ACI_HAL_TONE_START command and it is allowed to change the rf channel from 2.402 to 2.480 GHz with 2 MHz resolution. However, I want to change the channel to a 1 MHz resolution. For example, I want to set the channel to 2.403 GHz. Is it possible to do? If yes, how?Thank you.Have a nice day.Serhat.
I have a STM32WB that serves as the master and four other as the slaves. As the slaves may sometimes go offline, the master will periodically tries to connect with them (say, every 10 seconds). Between two connection attempts, the master allows the connected slaves to transmit data. At the 10-second mark, the master asks the connected slaves to pause transmission while it tries to connect with disconnected ones. However, it seems that the master cannot connect to other devices once some slaves begin data transmission as the call to `aci_gap_create_connection()` returns error code 0x3a. I also discovered that `aci_gap_create_connection()` would be successful only when all slaves were disconnected.Does it have anything to do with the BLE link layer state? My guess is that the master cannot connect to other slaves if it is in the connected state, but I don't know how to verify it. And if it is true, how can I ask the master to switch to the standby state so as to connect with other slaves?
Dear all,I am looking for a reference document listing the resources (timers, RAM, GPIOs, bus clocks etc) that are used by the Bluetooth stack provided byST (stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin).Any idea where I can find a complete documentation? Thanks a lot. Edo
Hello,On a STM32WB55REV, I'm having problems with going to standby. These problems are intermittent (1 in 30 cycles maybe, sometimes 3 in a row, sometimes none for a hundred of cycles...).I only started seeing them after I enabled BLE in my application (so before that I did not see them for the last year of development).I'm using the stack BLE light v1.14.0, FUS is 1.2.0.STM32_WPAN code is from FW 1.14.0, and started its life as the HRS_FreeRTOS example. The details of my target (no LSE, pin allocation) make running the vanilla example code a chore so I don't really have a "bare minimum" application I can refer to that would run on my target.I tested my services on the Nucleo extensively though without any problem, and the BLE functionality of my device does not show any problems nor unexpected behavior. The problem, from a brid's eye view, is that the device sometimes does not enter Standby properly after the BLE stack has run.No link with what has happened during runtime that I can see
Hi,I'm running into an issue with the provided OTA bootloader getting the device "bricked" after a firmware update.Details about my setupMCU: STM32WB55CGWB package: STM32Cube_FW_WBV1.14.1BLE Stack: stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fwBootloader example: STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.14.1\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLE\BLE_Ota Documentation: AN5247What have I tried?I used the above mentioned ST bootloader example as a base for my project with minor modifications. Next to that modified my projects firmware to make some OTA test applications (by adding the reboot charasteristics etc). When I update the firmware via the ST BLE Sensor app, everything works perfect, but when I use another resource (Linux based IoT device) to update the firmware over OTA I'm able to brick the firmware:Transferring the raw data packages (200 bytes each) with an interval of 150ms everything works fine and I'm able to successfully transfer all data and boot to the dedicated firmware version. Trying to speed things u
hi,is ther a way to run Utility_timer and calendar simultaneously.if i set rtc on mixt mode or BCD mode, i do not receive alarm interruption ti manage Utility_timer
Hi,i am working on a Project right now where i need to send some data via LoRa. I'm using a STM32WL55 and i had some trouble with the radio setup, so to check the basic functionality of my radioi rebuilt the SUBGHZ_Tx_Mode example for my board and compared the actual example running on a Nucleo-WL55JC1 with my rebuild running on my board. The MXsetup is identical for both. I noticed that even before i start the code, i can see in the debugger, that on the nucleo the RFBUSYS Bit is set and on my board it isn't.Reading the documentation, i found out that if the radio resets, the RFBUSYS flag goes high, so it makes sense that at the very start the RFBUSYS flag is set on the Nucleo, as the whole board does a power on reset. But why doesn't the radio on my board perform a reset (or at least set the RFBUSYS bit)? How can there be a difference if no line of code has been executed yet and the Mx setup is the same?I'm completely lost on this issue, so any help is greatly apprechiated.
Determine whether the data is ready by judging the edge of the DRDY pin of ads1299, but there is no signal. When I use the virtual timer to repeat the notification, there is data, but because it is not synchronized with the ADS1299, the data is not correct, and then my project does not know how to proceed.
