Hello I set the variable uint8_t test as test = test + 1 in main.cand send this variable via BLE in p2p_server_app.c to PC with next command P2PS_STM_App_Update_Char(P2P_NOTIFY_CHAR_UUID, (uint8_t *) (&local));Also, set it in main.h extern uint8_t testand include the header in both files main.c and p2p_server_app.cBut when I send this variable from the p2p_server_app via Bluetooth to PC it is sent stable value, not updated value every time. it seems to me that this STM32WB is dual-core and apparently each core works separately. it turns out I can consider changes for "test" only once, how can I make the p2p_server_app.c takes updated value from main.c// main.hextern uint8_t test;// main.c#include "main.h"uint8_t test= 0;while (1) {test = test + 1; }// p2p_server_app.c#include "main.h" P2PS_STM_App_Update_Char(P2P_NOTIFY_CHAR_UUID, (uint8_t *) (&local));

I am using the "BLE_DataThroughput" sample code on Nucleo-WB55RG, and sending 240 bytes to Windows 11. I am experiencing extreme data packet drop.
Hi,im using a loRawan module based on STM32WLE5 chip.i would like to know how i can save an event to reTx it on the next uplink when i have my gateway off or during a blackout . im trying not to lose info .my Tx duty cycle is every 90 minutes or on button click(event).im using a Confirmed Data Up message type.regards
Hello everyone,I'm currently facing a problem with my STM32WB15CC application and I could really use some guidance from the community. I am working on a BLE advertising application, but unfortunately, I am unable to see my device appearing as expected. After some investigation, I suspect that the issue might be related to the stack.To resolve the problem, I attempted to upgrade the stack. However, it seems that upgrading it resulted in the deletion of my code. On the other hand, flashing the code onto the microcontroller appears to delete the stack. Interestingly, when I tested the same code on the STM32WB35CC with the same firmware version, it worked perfectly fine.Have any of you encountered a similar problem with the STM32WB15CC? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or insights regarding this issue.Here are the software versions I am using:STM32Cube IDE version: 1.12.1STM32CubeMX version: 6.8.1STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.16.0STM32CubeProgrammer v2.13.0Thank you in advance for your time
Hello all....Looking for some pointers. I have an application I created in CubeMX/IDE on a WB55 nucleo board. I am using nRF Connect app on my phone as the Client. When I run the nucleo server application with the debugger connected all seems to work fine, both BLE and application. That is to say the nRF Connect discovers the nucleo and I can read/write to nucleo. However when I disconnect the debugger and power the board via a power supply / battery or even re-plugging the usb power back onto the nucleo the nucleo (server) almost never shows up in the list of devices in the nRF Connect application.With debugger disconnected:I have verified power to the board and it is all good. I also (via a scope) see my application code running as expected via the Time Server. I use the word "almost" above because on two occasions I was able to power the boards and the app at the correct moment and I was connected and all looked good. I based my code on the BLE_Custom application. Can anyone give me
Hi, I have the following problem:I am developing Firmware for a device that has a STM32WB55VGY6 on it. Right now I'm in the midst of trying to get a OTA FW Update to work, but I'm completely stuck. Whenever I try to upload a .bin file via the BLE Sensor App, it starts the upload and at some point the Node becomes unreachable, but always at different stages of the upload, sometimes at the start, sometimes in the middle, sometimes near the end. I'm using the BLE_Ota project from the STM32Cube MCU Package for our bootloader, I changed the linker file of my firmware how I'm supposed to (Flash Address starting at 0x08007000, .ota_region 0x08007140 etc), removed the line in system_stm32wbxx.c with the vector, added BLE_CFG_OTA_REBOOT_CHAR to ble_conf.h, I used the Programmer to flash the BLE Stack at the right starting address (0x080CE000 for version 13.3), FUS version is 1.2.0 and my Firmware has a Service and Characteristic for FW Updates and the right code in custom_app.c.The thing is, wh
Hi All,Currently I am working on STM32WLE5CCU6 + RAK3172 using STM32CubeIDE. So I am checking sleeping current.Currently I am getting 340uA of sleeping current.I want to make it reach to 4uA.Can anyone guide me how can I achieve that. I have some doubts like below.Do I need to power off / sleep the radio?Currently in STM32CubeIDE my system clock is 48MHz. During Sleep mode do I need to slow it down? Or from statrting only I have to use low system clock?Do I need to stop the ADC or it is not required? I am taking battery voltage from ADC.Currently I am making full port A GPIO to Analog and No_Push_Pull mode. In some of the pins in Port B and Port C are connected with radio. So do I need to change that and also remaining pin to analog and No_Push_Pull mode.If I am using DS18B20 (Temperature Sensor) then, It is required to Cut down Vcc and ground during sleep mode?I am new to low power related topics. Sorry if I have asked silly questions.Even though In while loop Larawan_Process() is con
I want to know how to design a PCB board about stm32wb55cc serial ic ,and should it need a antenna?If it need, what is the most suitable antenna to the ic?
Hello everyone, I am trying to do tone calculator. I am using DSP , ADC ,DMA and timer for sampling rate. I am using tone genarator and for example if tone is 500 hz and my fftoutbuffer[16] is going high value (noramlly 130 but when tone generate is on 174) . For 1700 hz fftoutbuffer[52] is going high value (noramlly 130 but when tone generate is on 175). I try to calculate my sample rate withthis formula. f_sample = 500 * (1024 / x / 2) = 16 so x= 64000 . f_sample = 1700 * (1024 / x / 2) = 52 so x ≈= 64000 . So with these adjustment how can it be 64.000 khz ? I though with these adjustment , I can get 48000000/1000 = 48.000 khz. (I can share my code if it is necessery, I didnt share it because it has 500 or more line.)
Greetings,I am working on the LoRaWAN Project and facing issues in updating RTC from a server/UART in LoRaWAN library.My code is getting stuck while updating RTC, I am recieving time and from UART through user input.RTC_TimeTypeDef set_time;RTC_DateTypeDef set_date;HAL_StatusTypeDef setTime_status;HAL_StatusTypeDef setDate_status;SysTime_t time;set_date.Year = RxBuff->Buffer[1] - 12;set_date.Month = RxBuff->Buffer[2];set_date.Date = RxBuff->Buffer[3];setDate_status = HAL_RTC_SetDate(&hrtc, &set_date, RTC_FORMAT_BIN);set_time.Hours = RxBuff->Buffer[4];set_time.Minutes = RxBuff->Buffer[5];set_time.Seconds = RxBuff->Buffer[6];if(set_time.Hours > 0x12){set_time.TimeFormat = RTC_HOURFORMAT12_PM;}else{set_time.TimeFormat = RTC_HOURFORMAT12_AM;}setTime_status = HAL_RTC_SetTime(&hrtc, &set_time, RTC_FORMAT_BIN);Please Help me out from this. I found something on ST commnunity regarding same and one developer is setting RTC through void SysTimeSet( SysTime_t
Hi all, I am looking for a list of resources (peripherals, memory, etc) that are required by the STM32_WPAN stack implementation for the STM32WBA52. I previously used the STM32WB55 and e.g. AN5289 lists which peripherals are shared with the M0/BLE core. Where can I find such information ? Note: some clues are given in the "BLE_SerialCom_Peripheral" example for the STM32WBA52, by looking at the implementation of the "platform specific" functions required by the STM32_WPAN libraries (LinkLayer_BLE_Full_lib.a and stm32wba_ble_stack_full.a are included in the example project). Thanks in advance. Best regards, Jeroen
Just used the example application "LoRaWan_End_Node" with the Nucleo-WLWL55JC board.This example send every 10seconds data to a gateway which is received in the TheThingsNetwork environment. Default is "LoRaWan_End_Node" disabled, when "USE_FULL_ASSERT" is enabled the applciation starts working and data is received, but after first time or after some rounds (within some minutes) the application keeps trying to send data, but data is not received at the server or the attempts are stopped. There is not assert or error in debugger.When "USE_FULL_ASSERT" is disabled again, the data is received okay at server endless time.In the stm32wlxx_hal_rtc.c source file some additional checks are done when USE_FULL_ASSERT is enabled. Can this be the problem?In attachment some logging.
I have created a service and some characteristics with size of 247.I use 'ACI_GATT_READ_HANDLE_VALUE' to read it and I get some weird response.Although I requested to read a size of 200, the command returns only 19 .This is my response packet: and this is the command response snippet. I would have expected numbers such as 200 , 247 in the response.Why 19?
Why on my LRWAN3 node card, when I power it externally on the +E5V tab, the LoRa card doesn't transmit anymore, while when I connect the usb + external power supply it works again? And why when I remove all the power supplies and I leave the USB cable, the led of the lora card lights up very slightly?
Hi, With STM32WBA52 (or others STM32WBA), can I receive BLE frame with MCU in ultra low power mode? What's the power consumption? Can I set BLE in ultra low power mode and still receive frame? That would trigger and wake up the MCU What STM32WBA is best for my purpose? Thanks,
Hello everyone, I am completely new to the forum and to the world of LoRaWAN on microcontrollers.I am doing my undergraduate final project. This is based on a B-L072Z-LRWAN1 core that has a couple of sensors connected to it. One of them is an ADC sensor that measures the humidity of the ground.My problem is that I would like to send the data from this sensor via LoRaWAN to TTN. In support they helped me with the existing example (I-CUBE-LRWAN) and told me that I could modify this code to do it.I have investigated the code a bit and I have found the task of sending data by LoRa, but of course my sensor is external and I must configure the pins for an analog measurement, and not having an .ioc I can not do it through CubeMX.Can someone help me to add my sensor and port the code to send my data. Best regards, and thanks a million.
Hi, I am using a STM32WB55, and a third party IMU device. I used the P2P client demo code to start, and was able to get the two devices to connect. But I am trying to figure out how to call and read the data now. Since the P2P client app is not setup to do that.I attached a photo of the data packets, with UUID info that I think will be required. I am also currently just dropping it in, the connect request() before the return, just so I can see where it will drop it in memory. Where would be the better place to call it, the P2P_client_app.c? I am trying to use the gatt_read_char_value, or gatt_read_using_char_uuid, but unable to properly set it up so it will compile and run.
Hello,I'm using the STM32WL55 for LoRa communication.I found out that when receiving a packet the RX IRQ from the transceiver is executed in a delay from when the packet finished transmitting.From my tests this delay depends on the channel configuration and the delay is around the time of a single symbol (around 85% of a symbol time, changing slightly between configurations).The timing of this IRQ is crucial for me to time my system's operations.Is this delay expected? If so, is there a formula for it? Is there a way to remove the delay altogether?Thank you
