I'm looking for a project with H750 that generates code for CubeMx and Keil, anyone managed to do that?ThanksStefano.
HelloI want to scroll text by hardware buttons, I call doScroll function and it works fine,but only if I put text in the text area using TouchGFX Designer,if I want to change the text, for example 14 lines Unicode::snprintf(textArea1Buffer,100,"test1\ntest2\ntest3\ntest4\ntest5\ntest6\ntest7\ntest8\ntest9\ntest10\ntestasd11\ntest12\ntest13\ntest14\n"); textArea1.invalidate(); scrollableContainer1.invalidate();I can scroll 10 of them, but instead of line 11 I get "???" and no 12,13,14 lines
Hi ST team,I can't understand why ST is not providing .ioc file of the STM32 cube projects ?I'm looking on how to start with STemwin Lib on STM32F429 discovery and I want to have .ioc file of the available projects on STM32Cube_F4_FW ?I found an interesting video on YouTube posted by ST (here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbS2rWvY7dg&list=PLnMKNibPkDnEPx2DWBfYOAIQyE7mrcyiq&index=5)This video is referring to a package that did not exist anymore on the STM32Cube_F4 package !!! ??If the demo projects on the STM32Cube are done with the cube mx, why to not provide the .ioc of each project ??Please help,Thx
In my current project i have a menu. The graphic guy decide every menu part have an icon, a text and a small arrow, all are gray end when are pressed they became blue. any way to make them all show pressed state when i click one? Or should i make a big image(mostly empty) with all 3 image on it?Thanks
HelloCan I use TouchGFX libraries without using QSPI?Now we have developed a board that uses 32 MB of SDRAM. Can we put used pictures in this area?
I running an application on STM32F769 with EWARM that connect to Servers from the net and receiving data (with Net Thread) . Next i added all necessery files and a graphic Thread in main file to display the data on th lcd when i pressed on a button . When i run the application the lcd works and the button appear but the Net Thread blocked on the instruction ( MX_LWIP_Init();)PS: when i comment the instruction GRAPHICS_Init(); the board connect to the Net
I have a demo board STM32F429I-DISC1.There is a SPI configuration in LCD configuration function LCD_SPIConfig();And then void LCD_WriteData(uint8_t value) { /* Set WRX to send data */ LCD_CtrlLinesWrite(LCD_WRX_GPIO_PORT, LCD_WRX_PIN, Bit_SET); /* Reset LCD control line(/CS) and Send data */ LCD_ChipSelect(DISABLE); SPI_I2S_SendData(LCD_SPI, value); /* Wait until a data is sent(not busy), before config /CS HIGH */ while(SPI_I2S_GetFlagStatus(LCD_SPI, SPI_I2S_FLAG_TXE) == RESET) ; while(SPI_I2S_GetFlagStatus(LCD_SPI, SPI_I2S_FLAG_BSY) != RESET); LCD_ChipSelect(ENABLE); }But the LCD on the demo board doesn't have any SPI interface. Do I miss something?
Hello ,In my project I am using many images as assets , some as a logo others just a background for a button.However, when I compile the project through Keil, the images appear weird and noisy.In the other hand when I compile the project through TouchGFX (GCC). The images are displayed correctly.Example:Here is the screen when compiling through TouchGFX Designer (GCC):Here when compiling through Keil:Any solution to let Keil compile correctly ?
I have generated a new CUBEIDE Project (STM32F429I-DISCO) with help of CUBEMX and i configured the LTDC with SPI5,CS,WR....etc, and i selected Touchgfx for designing the UI, i designed a simple UI, but when i try to compile the code i get 3 errors : C:/Users/po4A/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.0.0/de/Debug/../Startup/startup_stm32f429zitx.s:113: undefined reference to `main'C:/Users/po4A/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.0.0/de/Debug/../Src/stm32f4xx_it.c:205: undefined reference to `hltdc'C:/Users/po4A/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.0.0/de/Debug/../Src/stm32f4xx_it.c:219: undefined reference to `hdma2d'I DID NOT WRITE ANY CODE YET, i just wanted upload the UI to the board.
Hi,I need to seperate my code into different .c and .h fileswhen I do this, the Keil IDE compile no problem. But the compiler from withing TouchGFX designer gives an error of undefined reference.I know this issue is solvable my editing the Make file in target/gcc folder. But I have no idea how to edit it exactly,help is appreciatedConverting images Linking build/bin/target.elf build/ST/STM32F746G-DISCO/gui/src/model/Model.o: In function `Model::transmit(unsigned char, unsigned char*, unsigned short)': C:\TouchGFXProjects\AksApp/gui/src/model/Model.cpp:39: undefined reference to `esit::transmit(unsigned char, unsigned char*, unsigned short)' build/ST/STM32F746G-DISCO/gui/src/model/Model.o: In function `Model::receive(unsigned char, unsigned short)': C:\TouchGFXProjects\AksApp/gui/src/model/Model.cpp:48: undefined reference to `esit::receive(unsigned char, unsigned short)' build/ST/STM32F746G-DISCO/gui/src/model/Model.o: In function `Model::receive_it(unsigned char)': C:\TouchGFXProjects
I am using TouchGFX 4.10 library with IAR version 7.80.1
I am working on an Application where I am using a ScrollList which should serve as menu.There is no touch so I control the behaviour by buttons.Depended on the menu to show the content is predefined by text resources. However some content is dynamic such as a file list which I intent to display.If I set the TypedText it is displayed correctly, but if I afterwards like to change the entry a a dynamic text, the TypedText is not cleared. virtual void scrollListMenuUpdateItem(lstEntry& item, int16_t itemIndex) { : // sometime a predefined text is displayed item.setItemTypedText(T_MAIN_MENU_SETUP); : // in antoher case, a dynamic text should be displayed item.setItemText(fileList[itemIndex].c_str()); : // force redraw item.invalidate(); }How can I flush the old text of the list items?Here are the implementations of the methods:void setItemTypedText(TypedTextId typedTextId) { text.setTypedText(TypedText(typedTextId)); } void setItemText(const char* itemText) { touc
Posted on April 23, 2018 at 20:45Hi I am trying to create an interface with STemWin using cubeMX.I did everthing in [STM32CubeMX for STM32 configurationand initialization C code generation (UM1718 User manual)].[You can reach this file cubeMX app->Display the Help]I have activated CRC,DMA2D,FMC,LTDC,RCC; have created an interdafe using STemWin; have generated code (EWARM) and all I had is a wide clear-white screen-nothing.I was expecting to see the interface that I make in STemWin.What am I suppose to do create an interface with STemWin using cubeMX app?The devcie I use is STM32F746G-DISCOThank you for your helpBest Regards#stemwin #stm32f746g #cubemx
Hello,I am evaluating TouchGFX and I read this :examples of memory types that are not memory mapped and thus require cachingAll NAND-based flashesSD cardsAnything with a file systemQuadSPI NOR if your microcontroller does not include memory-mapping for it (e.g. STM32F429)So TouchGFX Highly recommand to use QSPI in memory map mode and no filesystem. But, what about if I have a filesystem on QSPI configured as memory map mode (read-only) ?It is still recommanded to cache all images inside my filesystem on QSPI even in memory map mode but with filesystem ?Thanks !
Hello ST team,I have a project using STM32F767ZG with LTDC for LCM (LCD module).Currently, I encounter an issue for display picture on LCM.Could you help me to figure out this issue?In my HW design, use LTDC R[2:7] , G[2:7] and B[2:7] for LCM.I generated a pure blue (B = 0xFF) picture as below table for ST boot screen. pLayerCfg.FBStartAdress = (uint32_t *)image_data_sample_320_480_blue;(See sample_320_480_blue.h)However, with above table, I saw RGB888 and RGB656 (just see different) both display not well.For further check on RGB888 case, I should only see signal running on LTDC B[2:7] pins supposedly. But, after check each PINs (R[2:7] , G[2:7] and B[2:7]), I saw all RGB signal running on LTDC interface.And, here is my LTDC init code.static void MX_LTDC_Init(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN LTDC_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END LTDC_Init 0 */ LTDC_LayerCfgTypeDef pLayerCfg = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN LTDC_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END LTDC_Init 1 */ hltdc.Instance = LTDC;
Hi, Is it possible to add and remove elements in list layout. I have tried to remove an element during run time and it was successfully removed. But i cant able to add an element in the list layout during run time. My intention is to remove and add elements in the list layout based on the values entered during run time.
Hi,I want to try to use 8BPP in one of the project I'm working on.I set the LTDC to work in 8BPP and I tried to define a designer project that is configure with 8bpp.When I try to change the config I get error messages that I can not use this format
Hello everyone. My goal is to use a TFT LCD with an stm32 microcontroller. The LCD has a 24 bit parallel RGB interface. This LCD-TFT controller is documented here, but I'm not sure how i would actually use this. Is there some library for this? Thanks.
I used CubeMx to create STM32F429 porject(keil5) ,this project function is for Freertos + emWin. LCD display is ok,but no touch. I used a task to receive message for touch screen,then used GUI_PID_StoreState store data to GUI.
HelloIs there a way to determine which items in a ScrollList are visible at the moment (item index)?Because the user will control the GUI by buttons i like highlight the currently selected item in the list (similar behaviour like a list on a PC program which is scrolled by the up and down keys).I have implemented the highlight functionality by myself (set background of the item black and the text white) since I haven't found another solution.Is it true that there is no "built in" functionality in TGX to implement such a behaviour?To know which items are visible would facilitate the implementation of my desired behaviour.Unfortunately https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018095032-Scroll-List did not help me very much.Thanks!
Hello,I tried a project created by @Mon2 in this post. I've converted the SW4STM32 project to Atollic one and build it with arm-atollic-eabi-gcc and arm-atollic-eabi-g++ (gcc -v 6.3.1). Everything worked fine so i swapped the resolution in *.touchgfx file to make it landscape, edited the screen and generated code. Then i added the line HAL::getInstance()->setDisplayOrientation(ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE);to main.cpp (just before start of kernel) and suitable include. Rebuild the project and uploaded it to the board. After these steps the UI components like buttons (except flex button), sliders and some others does not render correctly (pic bellow), but function normaly.So my question is - What am i doing wrong? Or is this some bug in TouchGFX? (found similar issue here but for STemWin) Edit:added zip with project
Has anyone got CubeMX5.2/TouchGFX4.10.0/STCUBEIDE1.0 or SW4STM32 or TrueAtollic working properly with any Discovery board? I mean be able to build with no errors and run it on any Discovery board? I had it working with CubeMX4.xx/TouchGFX4.10.0/SW4STM32. But when I updated CubeMX4.xx to 5.2, I get build errors. I tried the procedure put by Zhi Pang on the community, but it doesn't work anymore. I get build errors.If you have it working please send me some info on how you did it.ThanksKiran
Hey!I would like to create a log and store it so i could access the information later, for example for a device the monitors how many people go in or out a store and at what times.It would be helpful to store it in a sd card or the boards memory itself so i could just connect it to a computer and check the time
Every text areas I place have cursor visible. From some of the areas I don't want to have cursors. How do I hide them?
Hi all, I'm running into an issue and I need some ideas!We have designed a project on a STM32T769 disco board and we are now porting it onto our own hardware that uses an STM32H743 chip. We have 64MB of external SDRAM (two chips of 32MB each running in parallel) and a parallel LCD display. All code runs from internal flash and for this part (the bootloader), all assets of TouchGFX are also in internal flash.We are seeing weird pixels on our display. I attached an image. Basically, some lines close to the squares are the wrong color. Look at the lower right blue square, it has a black line on the left. The text is also quite blurry. As if some calculations were wrong. I was able to see the these wrong pixels are actually into the frame buffer in SDRAM so it is not a LCD timing issue.It seems to be related to computations made for overlapping objects as if I only have one color box, I see no issues.Any body has ideas on what to look for when facing this kind of problem?Thanks in advance.
