I have an STM32373C Evaluation Board. Recently I downloaded CubeIDE and tried the 'Hello_world' exapmle program and the TFT_LCD works fine. However, I made my own project where I included all the header files which were needed (e.g GUI.h etc..) and in my project all the functions works fine except for LCD related functions. I attached a picture, which shows the error. It is some sort of building error, but I dont know which setting should be used when I build it. Any ideas what is wrong with it?
I can open other projects and simulate fine but I do not see what I could be doing in this project that could make the simulator not work but my target board functions fine.

bool STM32F7TouchController::sampleTouch(int32_t& x, int32_t& y) is working as it can be tested by setting a breakpoint. The display is running as it is tested with an animated image that runs fine.It runs fine in simulator but not on stm32f746G-discovery (Working with STM32CubeIDE 1.1.0) : The display is not reacting on button pressed at all. Any hints to get the touch working with the display are welcome.
I have connected Two cameras ( RGB camera and Lepton Camera) in STM32H743 board i would like to read the camera output. But the cameras are not getting proper voltage . so the initialization process is getting failed . kindly give me the solution..Hello People, I am using STM32H743 Nucleo board and iam connecting two cameras in it. One is RGB camera and another one is Lepton camera . I am using DCMI for RGB and SPI for Lepton camera . I would like to read both the cameras . I am using STLink V2 Programmer to program the board and i have also done High speed USB interface. so iam using ST link programmer and a USB for the power. i have configured the pins correctly . I have set the firmware also perfectly . when i build the code or debug it i am not getting any errors . but i cant able to read the cameras it is showing like initialization process failed for of both the cameras . So when i checked the voltages of the camera board it is not getting enough power supply
I can't understand why a give text with a given font looks different (also in size) from theTouchGfx GUI and the simulator, or the code loaded into board.I don't need so i never change font in my app( is that even possible?) so i can't undestand why this is happening, for sure is not some of my code i forgot i've written...as you can see the in the left image (a touchGfx screenshot) the text have a different font and size than righ image (a simulator screenshots, but also code loaded into board looks the same as simulator)
Hi,I was just made aware of this video by "embed sys". It's a great example of the flow that we encourage using CubeMX to configure hardware and TouchGFX Designer to create the UI.While we don't encourage interfacing with hardware directly from the view classes to keep them portable (simulator + target) this video is still a great example of how easy it can be to interface with your hardware.The project does not configure the board to use the NOR flash on the 429-DISCO but simply uses a minimal configuration with no external dependencies other than the LED.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1CtXPHZDP4
I am using TouchGFX with STM32F767BI and 800x480 LCD.I made a graph with reference to Graph during TouchGFX Demo.My problem is that I can't set the Y axis.How can I set it up?The data I want to display is from 0 to 120000.void Graph::setup(int newWidth, int newHeight, int bufSize, colortype lineColor, colortype backgroundColor) { setWidth(newWidth); setHeight(newHeight); graphLinePainter.setColor(lineColor); graphAreaPainter.setColor(lineColor, getHeight()); graphDotsPainter.setColor(lineColor); graphDotsBackgroundPainter.setColor(backgroundColor); graphLine.setLinkedGraph(graphArea); graphLine.setLinkedGraph(graphDots); graphLine.setLinkedGraph(graphDotsBackground); graphLine.setPosition(0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight()); graphLine.setPainter(graphLinePainter); graphLine.setBuffer(graphBuffer, bufSize); graphLine.setLineWidth(1); graphLine.setRange(0, 290, 6500,0); graphArea.setPainter(graphAreaPainter); graphArea.setLineWidth(0); graph
I can get scroll wheel selected item index: /** * @fn int ScrollWheelBase::getSelectedItem() const; * * @brief Gets selected item. * * Gets selected item. If an animation is in progress, the item that is being scrolled * to is returned, not the item that happens to be flying by at the time. * * @return The selected item. */ int getSelectedItem() const;But I Need programmatically set selected item
I have one base application and have multiple applications and want to open close these multiple apps without closing a master application. All of them are created as an individual touchgfx project. Like in windows form application we open exe app using process.start and close exe app using this.close function . Is it possible to include all the projects created by different programmers in a single master app and then select any one of them
#include <gui/containers/ToolBar.hpp>#include <gui/containers/NoUseContainer.hpp>#include <touchgfx/canvas_widget_renderer/CanvasWidgetRenderer.hpp>
Hi,I need to show "Yes/No" modal dialog when a sensor value goes over limits.Why there is only Show/hide/move widget action, but no Action to show container? I'm I missing something here and thinking this wrong?Should I make Custom Widget instead, or should I call C++ function that can show Container?Thanks!
I am working on STM32F746 based custom board which is integrated with LCD and a ADV7180 video decoder IC. I Configured the ADV7180 to run in the free run mode. Getting the Camera data using DCMI to a specified buffer. I am trying to Convert the YCbCr 4:2:2 data to the RBG data. I am getting the Line Events. .From the Live events I am executing the below piece of code to convert it to the RGB and then load the it to the LCD using ARGB888.LCD_FRAME_BUFFER 0xC0000000LCD_FRAME_BUFFER_LAYER1 0xC0130000CAMERA_FRAME_BUFFER 0xC0260000void LCD_LL_Test(void *pSrc, void *pDst, uint32_t lcd_offset, uint32_t cam_offset) { uint32_t * pTempDest = (uint32_t *)(LCD_FRAME_BUFFER_LAYER1); uint32_t * pTempSource = (uint32_t *)(CAMERA_FRAME_BUFFER+cam_offset); uint32_t * pFinalDest = (uint32_t *)(LCD_FRAME_BUFFER+lcd_offset); uint32_t * pFinalSource = (uint32_t *)(LCD_FRAME_BUFFER_LAYER1); for(uint32_t i = 0; i < (480/2) ; i++ ){ uint32_t te = *pTempSource; // CB Y1 CR , RESULT toR
Does anyone know if there is there an example somewhere of usage of the method copyFBRegionToMemory()?The documentation says that the buffer can be a dynamic bitmap and I am having issues getting my code to compile.
Hello,I tried to use tim2 in my firmware but in CubeMX when TouchGFX is enabled tim2 is disabled..In TGFX tab there is a parameter "Timer for Instrumentation" where I can choose between timer 1, 3, 5, 8 and 12, but is it doesn't affect tim2.Is possible to use tim2 when I'm using TouchGFX?"Timer for Instrumentation" is used for what?Regards.
void MainScreenView::setVacuumPositionPercentBoxClickHandler(const BoxWithBorder& b, const ClickEvent& evt) { // When target vacuum position box is clicked, display modal keypad with numericals targetPercentModalWindow.setVisible(true); targetPercentModalWindow.invalidate(); keyboard.setPosition(410, 100, 320, 240); add(keyboard); }This is the code where I make the modal window visible and draw the keyboard.
I recently created a project for the Stm32F746G-Discovery kit in TouchGFX 4.12.3 and chose version 2.0.0. I was only able to select 24 bit color depth. When creating a new project in STM32CubeIDE 1.1.0, I was only presented with one option for the STM32F46G-Discovery kit, so I chose it. I see that it is only 16 bit color depth as seen in the BoardConfiguration.cpp file as well as with in the Stm32CubeMX > Middleware >TouchGFX section.Am I missing something, is there a way to set this up?
I have a project that compiles fine when compiling within TouchGFX 4.12.3's "Run Target". However I am attempting to compile/debug a similar project via STM32CubeIDE 1.1.0 and am running into an error that says 'USE_BPP' was not declared in this scope. I see that USE_BPP is defined in TouchGFX\config\gcc\app.mk:Is USE_BPP supported in TouchGFX 4.12.3? I assume it is since it works when not compiled in STM32CubeIDE.I was planning on using this to determine what depth to set bmp cache for dynamic bitmaps.
I am creating a custom board project for STM32F769 in STM32CubeIDE v1.1.0 with TouchGFX support.Even after enabling CRC, LTDC, DMA2D, RCC, I couldn't get the TouchGFX option highlighted. I tried setting up QuadSPI and FMC SDRAM2 as per online tutorials, but still the same.I could create projects directly in TouchGFX but dependent on Eval or Discovery kits. What I want is to create a project from scratch with only the required peripherals with TouchGFX support either from CubeIDE or CubeMX, both of which are not working as of now.It seems the TouchGFX integration for F7 and H7 CPUs are not complete because if I select F469 as the CPU, TouchGFX option is available to be selected with settings to link TouchGFX exe and execute from within the CubeIDE.
Hello,I am facing compilation problem in Keil when generating code from STM32CubeMX (choose GRAPHICS - TouchGFX) as follow:cannot open source input file touchgfx/hal/OSWrappers.hppAlso if I open the Keil code which generated from the TouchGFX then the code is easily compile and flash in the STM32.I am using STM32F746G-DISCO DISCOVERY BOARD.Can anyone tell how I overcome this problem ?Thanks in advance.
Hi How can I avoid, that the screen shows a strange mosaic during boot up or the last screen after e reprogramming of the chip?Thanks for your answer
I'm using SW4STM32. with cubeMX 5.4.0 and newly touchGFX 4.10.0Now SW4STM32 throws 2 errors:Description Resource Path Location Typemake: *** No rule to make target 'C:/projectName/TouchGFX/generated/fonts/src/FontGetters.cpp', needed by 'generated/fonts/FontGetters.o'. Stop. DefaultStartPoint C/C++ Problemthe C:/projectName/TouchGFX/generated/fonts/src/FontGetters.cpp was created with 4.10.0 and with 4.12.3 not. What do I do wrong?Thanks for your answer
Good morning everyoneI state that I am a newbie and have never used CubeIde and TouchGFX.We would like to develop an application using the CubeIde (gcc) and the TouchGFX at the same time.We would then like to use a processor of the STM32L4 or L4 + family using only the internal flash memory and RAM (therefore, no external flash or RAM) interfaced to the display via 8080 protocol.Is it possible to do it?If yes, how can this be done?We have read various documents and various interventions on the forum, but we have not found everything we need.Many thanks to allAlberto
I have taken a sample camera code of stm32f756 eval board in which the camera driver ic was S5K5CAG.and interfaced the dcmi peripheral and i2c configuration peripheral but i am unable to display camera output on the LCD display. I am using ADV7180 camera driver IC and I dont have perfect driver code for that IC.The ADV7180 ALSB pin is pulled up so the i2c address i used is 0x42.Can anyone please help me out, I am struck with this from 2 days. I am able to display text on LCD as far as now.
Hello, I have a touchgfx project. When I compile project with touchgfx IDE (with Run Target button) It works properly. After that I open IAR IDE, compile and flash to my board but it doesnt work properly. When I debug software, I see there is a hard fault handler. Is there any difference Touchgfx and IAR compiling process ?How can I make it same ?Regards
