https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbWOv_0Lp-U&t=1873sI watched YouTube and followed it. This is to display the voltage coming into ADC IN0 on the LCD.I used the TouchGFX + CubeIDE compiler, but an error occurred.On YouTube, it compiles normally. Please let me know why the error occurred.make -j12 all arm-none-eabi-g++ "../TouchGFX/gui/src/screen1_screen/Screen1View.cpp" -mcpu=cortex-m7 -std=gnu++14 -g3 -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DSTM32F746xx -DDEBUG -c -I../TouchGFX/gui/include -I../TouchGFX/generated/fonts/include -I"C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.3.0/SWTEST/Drivers/Components" -I"C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.3.0/SWTEST/Drivers/Components/n25q128a" -I../TouchGFX/generated/texts/include -I../Drivers/STM32F7xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -I../TouchGFX/generated/images/include -I"C:/TouchGFXProjects/SWITCHTEST/Drivers/Components/Common" -I"C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.3.0/SWTEST/Drivers/Components/ft5336" -I"C:/TouchGFXProjects/SWITCHTEST/Drivers/Components/n25q128a" -I../Core/Inc -I../TouchGFX/generated/gui_generated/include
I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I have been looking for a way to enable the scroll bar on a Scroll Wheel widget. Does this widget have scroll bar functionality? My project will not use touch, so I am intending to use the Scroll Wheel indexed manually by a switch. Because the list of items in the wheel can sometimes be lengthy, I would like to implement scroll bars, but don't see a way to easily enable them (in the TouchGFX Designer, at least). Note that these scroll bars would be for indication purposes only and not touchable/scrollable.If it does not have scroll bars, which widget do you suggest I use that does? Thanks in advance for your input.
When generating code from TouchGFX 4.14.0 for the STM32H73Bi-DK board, the STM32CubeIDE project includes a path reference to CMSIS_RTOS which is not included in the TouchGFX generated code. A CMSIS_RTOS_V2 folder does exist. This cases the following warning in CudeIDE.Invalid project path: Include path not found (C:\TouchGFXProjects\STM32H7B3iTest2\Middlewares\Third_Party\FreeRTOS\Source\CMSIS_RTOS).
I did start the project with F469I Discovery board, I got all the settings then I add Graphics Application it generates new folder TouchGFX.I start from this folder TouchGFX, I build simple screen, generate code.then I build the projects no errors I upload to the board.dark screen, nothing there.am I missing something ?I got all the same setting for LTDC like RGB888, 800 x 480 pixels form other working project I ma sure I am not missing anything herehow do I set it up so it works ?
I know this seems like a simple question, but for whatever reason this is what is giving the most issues today. Here is what I am working with: Unicode::UnicodeChar keyboardBuffer[7][3];Unicode::UnicodeChar* buff = keyboard.getBuffer(); Unicode:: strncpy(keyboardBuffer[keyboardSelection], buff, 3);I am copying the keyboard buffer into keyboardBuffer[keyboardSelection].But I need to convert this character array into an int so I can use it to properly set the time in my device and also check if the int is within range.I have google searched and have tried several different methods but each one returns an error. I am assuming I am doing something wrong and that is why I am here asking for suggestions.I am also using the stm32CubeIDE and do not believe it is using C++ version 11 as I am unable to use atoi. I have also tried stringstream with this:std::stringstream str(keyboardBuffer[keyboardSelection]); to no avail.help would be appreciated as I am sure I am just missing som
i am trying to use LCD16X2 with nucleo32-l053r8 USING CUBEMX/KEIL5,CAN ANYONE HELP OR HAVE THE lcd library for it ?
Hi,I just want ti know whether is it possible to integrate Amazon Alexa with TouchGFX ?Regards,Shrikant
I am developing a small project to which I decided to add a USB-HOST in MSC (Mass Storage Class) mode, with the intention of adding a USB pen drive, obviously I require the use of FATFS (USB-DISK mode) drivers. However, the Touch v4.14 compiler gave me the error:Core / Src / main.c: 25: 10: fatal error: fatfs.h: No such file or directory #include "fatfs.h"I did not understand why, if KEIL v5.31 did not throw any error.I tried several movements but I continued without favorable resultsuntil you remember the famous "makefile" of the touchgfx, explore it and try again adding the path where the file was and "done" was all
Hi,I'm working on a project with STM32F746 and touchGFX. When I move (use move mixing) some widget witch its alpha value isn't 255 or change screen, the screen is flickering. I'm using an external frame buffer(SDRAM) and I did LTDC layer settings as shown LCD's reference Manuel. I don't know where the problem is.Here is a video that shows the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrhtPq7dJXs And if you want my code's config part I can share.ın first screen 800x480 (alpha = 0) flex button with a box coming screen. So I think the problem in here with alpha blending.I also had same issue a mount ago and I fixed it by changing LCD's frequency but now it doesn't help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0T0yGYekXSE
Hi ,I am working with STM32F769NI based custom board with 7" display of 800 x 480 resolution. I am experiencing the flickering effect whenever I am trying to update the screen content with digital clock updated at every 1 sec.Please find the below video link for your referencehttps://youtu.be/Cj5yvzDTxf4 Request you share your suggestions to rectify this issue.Regards,Shree/** * @brief DMA2D Initialization Function * @param None * @retval None */ static void MX_DMA2D_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN DMA2D_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END DMA2D_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN DMA2D_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END DMA2D_Init 1 */ hdma2d.Instance = DMA2D; hdma2d.Init.Mode = DMA2D_M2M; hdma2d.Init.ColorMode = DMA2D_OUTPUT_ARGB8888; hdma2d.Init.OutputOffset = 0; hdma2d.LayerCfg[1].InputOffset = 0; hdma2d.LayerCfg[1].InputColorMode = DMA2D_INPUT_ARGB8888; hdma2d.LayerCfg[1].AlphaMode = DMA2D_NO_MODIF_ALPHA; hdma2d.LayerCfg[1].InputAlpha = 0; hdma2d.LayerCfg[1].AlphaInv

Dear All,It's the first time that I'm using ST Tools. I bought an evaluation board ( STM32F746G-DISCO ) because I want to test the Graphics tool TouchGFX. Following some tutorial I can load some graphics applications only made with this tool. The problem now is that I would like to use both TouchGFX and STMCubeIDE for the same project but I can't find a way to do this. Online there are some tutorials made by hobbist but they don't work .Is there an official document / guide / tutorial or example made by ST which explains the right procedure?Thank you in advance,Mattia
I am using the GUI on the top layer above live video and i must insert some box behind the widgets otherwise i got noise in the background on the top layer
I'm developping an UI on a STM32L4R9 custom board with a LCD display; and I need to place image resources in an external HyperFlash Cypress memory (ref: S26KL128SDABHI020), using an OctoSpi interface, configured in HyperBus mode.I need an external loader to program this flash directly from STM32CubeIDE, as for the internal flash.Do you have already developped this kind of external loader, or something approaching ?If yes, I would be really faster for my development !thanks,Gregory.
Hi all,Does anyone know why do i get these vertical lines on my display. I get these on all four corners. Thanks
Someone knows what this means as it appears after compilation after joining Touch GFX:Unresolved inclusion
We just purchased a STM32L4R9I-EVAL board and we were hoping to quickly test the 4.3'' 480x272 pixel TFT LCD Display, that was shipped with the EVAL board. However the demo example that is shipped with touch gfx latest version seems to be for the smaller display that comes with eval board as well. Is there any of the other demos that I could use to test the 4.3'' display? Also eventually we would to use our own display with this eval board, what would be the best way to go about that? Thanks,Yogesh
I am new to TouchGFX, so I am starting with something simple, displaying an image on the screen. I am using a custom STM32H753 board, where the display is hooked up through the LTDC interface. The display is working properly; when I write manually to the frame buffer, then the data gets displayed correctly. I was using the TouchGFX designer to create the screen with the image, and I set it as boot display. However, the image never appears on the screen. I checked that the task for touchgfx is created and also entered. Also the LTDC line interrupt is generated correctly. I am not sure in which part of the code, which TouchGFX is generating the actual drawing take place. So far I could not locate any code, which actually draws to the frame buffer. I found some shells for drawing functions, but they are all doing nothing. So something seems to be fundamentally wrong here, and I am missing the starting point where I can look. Can someone give me a hint why I am not getting anything drawn o
I made a simple demo and was able to run it on my device (STM32H747I-DISCO v(1.0.0)) and I've been able to run it on the simulator. Since then, I've been building up the demo as a concept to show my company and I'm running into compile errors that I can't seem to fix. Here are the compile errors I receive, any help is appreciated!Run Simulator Generate Done Generate Assets make -f simulator/gcc/Makefile assets -j8 Converting images Done Post Generate touchgfx update_project --project-file=simulator/msvs/Application.vcxproj && touchgfx update_project --project-file=../EWARM/TouchGFX.ewp Done Compile make -f simulator/gcc/Makefile -j8 Converting images Compiling generated/fonts/src/Table_4822485673_60_4bpp.cpp Compiling generated/fonts/src/Kerning_4822485673_60_4bpp.cpp Compiling generated/fonts/src/CachedFont.cpp Compiling generated/fonts/src/Table_verdana_40_4bpp.cpp Compiling generated/fonts/src/Table_verdana_20_4bpp.cpp Compiling generated/fonts/src/Applicat
HiI used partial frame buffer + FSMC.A strange thing happened to me.Any monochrome can fill an entire screen. But if you use more than one color, GFX will no longer fill when it encounters another color.Did I do something wrong?GFX version 4.13Thank you very much.
I've created a wildcard in Designer using https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/touchgfx-engine-features/texts-and-fonts/ and updating it in handleTickEvent() as per https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/tutorials/tutorial-03/.Occasionally it's displayed with garbage e.g. 42?5?352. It's fine in the buffer. TEXTAREA1_SIZE is 10.void Screen1View::updateTxt(int value){ Unicode::snprintf(textArea1Buffer, TEXTAREA1_SIZE, "%d", value); textArea1.resizeToCurrentTextWithAlignment(); textArea1.invalidate();}The help says "Remember to call myTextArea.invalidate() before resizing myTextArea if you are decreasing the text area size. If not, you will still see part of the old text area, since it is not covered by the new smaller text area.", but the code sample is the other way round. Either way it still displays garbage.
I'm new to touchGFX and I'm using Keil (v5.xx). I cant compile the touchGFX example for the 746G-Discovery due to missing files and I'm having the same kind of problems when I generate a project using the designer. When I try to compile the example (STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.16.0\Projects\STM32746G-Discovery\Demonstrations\TouchGFX\MDK-ARM) I get the following errors:../Core/Src/main.cpp(20): error: #5: cannot open source input file "touchgfx/canvas_widget_renderer/CanvasWidgetRenderer.hpp": No such file or directory #include <touchgfx/canvas_widget_renderer/CanvasWidgetRenderer.hpp> ../Core/Src/main.cpp: 0 warnings, 1 error compiling Gauge.cpp... ../../../../../Middlewares/ST/TouchGFX/touchgfx/framework/include/touchgfx/canvas_widget_renderer/Scanline.hpp(19): error: #5: cannot open source input file "touchgfx/canvas_widget_renderer/CanvasWidgetRenderer.hpp": No such file or directory #include <touchgfx/canvas_widget_renderer/CanvasWidgetRenderer.hpp> ../Gui/gui/src/custom_contr
Can I get a callback on a touch event anywhere on the display? Does TouchGFX support gestures?
Hello!I try to run LCD_DSI_VideoMode_DoubleBuffering example in HDMI mode. (I have buy MB1232 adapter with STM32H747I-DISCO).I have changed BSP_LCD_Init(0, LCD_ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE) to BSP_LCD_InitHDMI(0, HDMI_FORMAT_720_480).Fist : MX_LTDC_ClockConfig2 set PLL3N at 720U, but in datasheet this value must be between 4 to 512...Second : HAL_DSI_Init call into BSP_LCD_InitHDMI fail because some initializations are missings.I have fixed it, code run, but monitor display garbage...Can you hep me?
