TextAreaWithOneWildcard textIllustration; Unicode::UnicodeChar txtBuffer[40]; textIllustration.setXY(0, 0); textIllustration.setColor(touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(255, 255, 255)); textIllustration.setLinespacing(0); textIllustration.setWildcard(txtBuffer); Unicode::snprintf(txtBuffer, 40, "%s", "hello world!"); textIllustration.invalidate(); add(textIllustration);I want to declare a TextArea without using touchGFX Designer.So I use the code like this.Of course,it crashed.What am I miss?Or It's illegal.

I want to use the Interaction function "Hardware button is clicked" .Can it work in PC simulation? Like i press 'w' on the keyboard of PC,and it call a function.Is there an example program for it.
helloi use cubemx6 and iari create project with touchgfx in cubemx 6 and generate code in touchgfx fileWhen I compile there, there are several errors if this was not the case in the previous version of cube (v5).how to resolve this?
Hi STM, we are working on DSI of 240x320 with STM3F769NI Micro controller with our own PCB design. Could you please help us in providing any sample code which have worked with 240x320 display.
Hello @Community member ,i implemented the DMA, the DCMI, LTDC and DMA2D with their interruptions but I got something incorrect.how can I solve this?
There is this file, StemWin_Labs.v.2.0_materials.zip, needed for the STM32 graphics tutorial for the stm32f469i-discovery board that appears to be difficult to find with the examples. I have found other files, but not this one with the examples in the tutorial.Any suggestions?Thanks,tjm
The display is a TFT mcufriend-like (http://www.lcdwiki.com/2.4inch_Arduino_Display) based on the ILI9341 chip. I started with the 'Unigraphic-St7920-Test' on mbed to make it work on my Nucleo F756ZG board (https://os.mbed.com/users/charly/code/UniGraphic-St7920-Test/file/ec8380e9a255/main.cpp). To make it works on the Nucleo I inserted the TFT with the equivalent pin of the Arduino. Declaration line is modified as ILI9341 myLCD(PAR_8, PortC, PF_3, PF_5, PC_3, PC_0, PA_3,"myLCD"); // Parallel 16bit, Port, CS, reset, DC, WR, RD for F401When uploaded on the Nucleo the TFT brightness goes up, the program run, I see on the COM3 port that the program keeps running and writing, however doesn't matter what I do the screen keeps being white.My issue is probably with this 'PortC' Definition (I figured too late the tft doesn't have a SPI). I looked up on PAR8.h, Protocols.h, ILI9341.h, can't understand how this parallel gpio works. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.P.S. I'm sorry to ad
Dear all,on several Discovery boards of the STM32L4/5 series the above mentioned display is used. However I cannot get access to a datasheet in the internet. Is there any source where I can get it?Best RegardsMarkus
Hello, I've a smal implementation for the STM32L073 without using of the HAL. For the configuration of the LCD peripheral the flags FCSRF and RDY not set.I see that the flag FCSRF is reset during writing new values in the register FCR. The MCU have the following configuration:RCC->CSR: RTCSEL=1 RTCEN=1 LSEON=1 LSERDY=1RCC->APB1RSTR: LCDRST=0RCC->APB1ENR: LCDEN=1The follwoing resiter shall configure:LCD->FCR = 0x0100b420LCD->CR = 0x000000cdThe LCD->SR ENS flag is set. But the FCRSF and RDY not.Have everyone a idee of this failure?Thanks, Bernd
Hello there,for my master thesis I am trying to receive data over DCMI with the STM32H742. As an image sensor I am using the NOIV2SN1300A. It sends data over 10 data lines, this data differs (so not always 0xA603A603 ). To reduce data size I have activated binning and subsampling. I am using DMA to transfer the data received by DCMI into the internal SRAM at address 0x24000000. After a few telegrams (of 0xA603A603) the uC goes into hard fault and infinite loop. I am not sure why this error accurs. Here is my config for DMA and DCMI: /* DCMI DMA Init */ /* DCMI Init */ hdma_dcmi.Instance = DMA1_Stream0; hdma_dcmi.Init.Request = DMA_REQUEST_DCMI; hdma_dcmi.Init.Direction = DMA_PERIPH_TO_MEMORY; hdma_dcmi.Init.PeriphInc = DMA_PINC_DISABLE; hdma_dcmi.Init.MemInc = DMA_MINC_ENABLE; hdma_dcmi.Init.PeriphDataAlignment = DMA_PDATAALIGN_WORD;//WORD;
Hi, I've already developed a graphic application with the STM32F746G-DISCO on TOUCHGFX and it works well.Now I would like to develop the same graphic application on a different ST board without an onboard TFT display. I want to use an external display (same 4.3" and 480x272 pixels) and then put the previous FW on this new board. My questions are:is it possible to use the NUCLEO-F746ZG board with an external display without touching the FW I've already generated from Touch GFX? In this case how could I make the connection between the nucleo board and the display?if the previous point is not achievable easily, I saw that the STM32F769I Disc1 provides a connector (B-LCDAD-RPI1) for an external TFT display. Could be good choice considering that the microcontroller is different and the code generated from touchGFX is made for the STM32F746?Thank you for your time.Best regards
Hi, I'm using FreeRtos v1 , my board is stm32f429... . I have to thread in main.c and I generate them by stm32cubemx ...in one thread I have a touchgfx process . Other is a task for ethernet . Both of them have a same priority and the stack size of the first is 2048 and another is 1024. But just the touchgfx task can run . I wrote a variable in the header ... But I can set it in the ethernet task . In other words the second can't be run.
Hello, I have a 1bpp display and would like to invert the colors on all screens programatically. I've tried in a) getColorFrom24BitRGB(uint8_t red, uint8_t green, uint8_t blue) by XORing with 1, which is ok except for bitmapsb) TouchGFXHAL::flushFrameBuffer(const touchgfx::Rect& rect) by locking the framebuffer and XORing each word with 0xFFFFFFFF, which is ok on invalidated rect, but flickers on the remainder of the screen.
Hello all. I am using an STM3220G-EVAL board with 3.2" TFT and resistive touchscreen. I am using STEMWIN and would like to use the touchscreen. Can anyone point me in the direction of examples of using touch controller with this particular graphics library? (STemWin). Thanks,Steve.S
I want to chang the theme in our device, like windows which has bright or dark theme.How to do?
Hello,I used the following article to have a dynamic bitmap on the screen:https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/207460605-Dynamic-Bitmaps-Load-images-at-runtimeThen I draw a screen in touchgfx designer (attached designer.jpeg) where I would add a background image using dynamic bitmap.What I actually get is in display.jpeg file (there's some aliasing but the display looks nice), if I press the area where the button are drawn it works, but the button is not visible.How can I set dynamic bitmaps in background?Thank you in advance,Daniele
hii have a project that directly make by Keil and don't use CubeMX and i make separate project by TouchGFX Designer. now my question is how can i config keil project to auto add new file generate by TouchGFX Designer. for example when i add new screen in TouchGFX Designer and generate code new file automatically add in keil project.
hi, i have a little problem. i'm using stm32f4 and i want to run touchgfx. i generate code and i copy image to an array then i wrote array in binary format... all thing is good but when array size increase . i have below error.Not enough information to list load addresses in the image map.char mypath[]="image_bg.bin"; res2=f_open(&myfile,mypath,FA_WRITE|FA_CREATE_ALWAYS);res3=f_write(&myfile,image_bg,sizeof(image_bg),&bytewritten); f_close(&myfile);
Hi,I am starting with the 508 Disco board and I have tried to build some applications with succes, but then the display shows them wrong, I have tried a few default apps from TouchGFX, one made by miself with TGFX, and another one with BSP libraries and CubeIDE.The results are that the display does not render them correctly, the colors, some lines...Here I attach two pictures, the first one from one TGFX default template, and the other one from the BSP drivers, I also attach you the code needed for the BSP, appart from the initialisation code generated with Cube selecting the 508Disco board and the default pin initialization for the board#define LCD_FRAME_BUFFER SDRAM_DEVICE_ADDR #define LCD_FRAME_BUFFER_2 ((uint32_t)0xC0780800) uint8_t Buff[50]={0}; BSP_LCD_Init(); BSP_LCD_LayerDefaultInit(0, LCD_FRAME_BUFFER); BSP_LCD_LayerDefaultInit(1, LCD_FRAME_BUFFER_2); BSP_LCD_SelectLayer(1); BSP_LCD_Clear(LCD_COLOR_BLACK); BSP_LCD_SetTransparency(1, 150); B
I want to make a graph (let's just use a y = sin(x) function as an example) on my STM32 discovery board. I can make a basic gui from the standard widgets you get when you first run Touchgfx designer and I can add code to make them do stuff as well. I saw no way to add a graph so I googled it and found out you need the graph widget from the repository found here: https://github.com/touchgfx/touchgfx-open-repositoryI have downloaded the repository and my question now is how to get the graph widget into TouchGFX designer so I can start coding it to display y = sin(x)? I have a bunch of folders from the repository and the TemplateView.cpp/.hpp files tell you what the individual functions do but not how to get the widget itself into the designer. Apologies if I am missing something obvious here but I could find no clear answers anywhere else.
