How to achieve the effect shown in the figure on the LCD by STM32f103
Hello everyone,I am successfully developing a project on an STM32F469I-Disco. The chip is starting to lack space so I am looking into storing TouchGFX images on an SD Card. I am almost successfully using my SD Card to write and read data. I also check this link: https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/scenarios/using-non-memory-mapped-flashWhat I don't understand is the "In this example we will put the image data in the ExtFlashSection at address 0x24000000". In the datasheet of the STM32F746, this memory is mapped as reserved, can we still use it?If I want to use 4Gb of space, which address can I use? Also, to have the .bin file I have to put on my SD Card I have to execute arm-none-eabi-objcopy.exe --dump-section ExtFlashSection=images.bin TouchGFX/build/bin/target.elfWhere and how should I execute that?Thank you a lot everyone !Nicolas Kieger.
We are using the OSPI port of STM32L4P to communicate with the DCMI port of STM32F427, and the problem is the end of data signal was sent, but there is no interrupt from the DCMI, while if we reset the OSPI of STM32L4P, the interrupt appears.
Hi,Now I am thinking about adding animations when screen startup and normal screen , is there any implement in touchgfx? If not, I want to know if it is feasible to decode images from some format like GIF and just show them by order to realize this? Or do u have any other solutions?/JJ.Lin
Hi,I am working on TouchGFX for STM32H747 Discovery Kit. I get this error when i try to add a UART to my project. Please let me know.Thank you,Enes Ozkaya

Hi I want to detect gesture event like swiping to left and right without using the Swipe container.Any sample code for this? The usage is, I have a container which would behave differently when:Single clickLong press swipeI can do 1 and 2, but now I need to do 3)
HW: STM32H750 with External Flash and SDRAMPlease see the image below, the abnormal UI happens randomly. Could anyone give me some suggestion? Thanks,Jimmy
I want to use the same widget in five screens, for example:the digitalClock.I want all my screens can show the time. For now,i add five digitalClock in five screen and use handleTickEvent to update digitalClock. In this way, code repetition rate is high. Is there any other way to solve this problem, and can you provide a demo. Thanks!
TouchGFX 4.16.1, Win10 (I promise I will update to 4.17)I'm working on a project where I create an array of custom elements purely with code, such as an array of scrollable containers filled with the array of boxes and textAreas with wildcards, custom buttons (these still in work). It took a while to figure it out, but I added my own callback function to my button (for now just one), etc. (mainly by creating element in TouchGFX designer, generating code and then copy-paste-understand-modifying).The one thing I'm failing to implement on my own at this point is wait function. Like I want to click a button, wait and then do whatever (or any other use for wait).I've created a button and a box in TouchGFX Designer, added interactions with Wait (box changes color after 1000ms), so that I have a working code of wait that I can break down. The code for wait turned out to be pretty simple: it calls ViewBase::handleTickEvent on every tick and simply does a countdown. You set the number of ms, it
hello. I set STM32L476 disco with X-NUCLEO-GFX01M1 together and I want to take an example from touchGFX designer that is planed to run on STM32L496G disco and run the example on the combination I have. this because I will have a custom board with STM32L476 and a screen like X-NUCLEO-GFX01M1. how can I coordinate between the example and the combination I have ?thanks.eyal.
Hello,I know this has been discussed before and the problem is usually related to the font type used.My problem is that there are certain ligatures in Arabic that don't seem to work when running the TouchGFX simulator. For instance, جهاز renders ok but لجهاز renders هاز. So I end up missing two characters. The glyphs for these characters in their ligature form exists within the font and there doesn't seem to be a problem when I use the arabtype font. So the real question is, what is the best way to debug this and how can I solve it? The font I have is not free. I had to purchase it and hence I need to get it to work  Any help would be appreciated!Samer
Good morning,I'm using a discovery board STM32H747-DISCO.Why, Touchgfx don't generate the project .ioc, to import in CUBE IDE?Instead, if I select another board (for example STM32F7508-DK) , when generate code, the compiler buil also .ioc file.I have also installed the last version 4.14.0 of TouchGFX, but the problem persist.Thank you
Actual version 1.5.0 of CUBE-IDE is a fail with respect to the above mentioned configuration (STM32H747-DISCO and TouchGFX)
I'm using TouchGFX version 4.16.1 with a STM32H747I-DISCO development kit. When I run the simulator or click Generate Code, the project file is created, but not the .IOC file. When I try to import the project into the STM32CubeIDE (Version 1.6.0) I can't because it doesn't find the .IOC file. Importing it as a make file pulls in the project and files, but I can't get it to compile. Generates lots of errors. Am I missing something or is there some other way to iport the project?
Hi,I am working on TouchGFX for STM32H747 Discovery Kit. I have a design created in TouchGFX Designer. I am looking to integrate this into STM Cube IDE. When I hit generate, I am not able to see the STM project being created in the TouchGFX project folder. From some community threads I got to know that application template for H747-DISCO would be ready by the end of 2020. Is it added? Is there another way to do this? Please let me know. Please refer the screenshots of the application template used and folder structure of TouchGFX project. Thank you,Arshiya Tabassum

Hi guys. I'm going to design a PCB and I want to connect a 5MP camera module to my stm32. I did the same project with the VC0706 Camera Module (SC03MPD) and this time I want to have a higher resolution. Initially, I was thinking about a serial connection to the camera ( since the transfer speed is not important for me and I can use a low-speed image data transfer ) but it seems there are a few camera modules? with 5Mpixel resolution and serial interface so I was just wondering has anyone have any idea what is the cheap and easy way to have a 5Mpixel camera connection to stm32.
A year ago I had a lot of grief getting the JPEG peripheral working - came down to memory regions! Now I want to improve the quality by changing from JPEG_420_SUBSAMPLING to JPEG_444_SUBSAMPLING but I get random hard faults .Is it possible the jpeg hardware is writing outside the bounds of the buffers I have defined? The encode example has a CHUNK_IN size of 800x4x16 but I just don't have that much RAM available. I'm encoding 420 OK with a 4096 byte buffer and I can find nothing in the documentation that indicates just how big the input buffer should be for a 480 wide image (other than the 'magic' numbers in the example).Any ideas?
Step to reproduce the issue:Setup a dynamic graph widget with X axis labelSetup a button to switch the graph invisible and visible i.e. :buttonHandler() { if(graph.isVisible()) { graph.setVisible(false); graph.invalidate(); } else { graph.setVisible(true); graph.invalidate(); } }Run the application, wait until the graph roll at least one screen length. Then click the button 2x to make it invisible and visible again. The X axis label become negative at point where we left the graph. Why so? and how can I avoid this?
I have started a new TouchGFX based project and want to apply devops. For now my primary goal is to automate the build and to get the build binaries. At my previous job I used a Jenkins pipeline to automate a TouchGFX build. We maintained our own internal build machine so it was relatively easy to install the necessary MinGw and create a build script. At my current job I do not have a Jenkins server. I am working with a Github repo and so have access to Gihub Actions and Azure. Are there any recommendations for good way to approach this? Is there a TouchGFX Docker container? Thanks.
Image controls are used in dialogs, and image USES GIF images.Simulation causes flicker, what is the reason?:grinning_face_with_sweat:
