Hi all,I want to interface TFT LCD through RGB666 interface with STM32F429 microcontroller.LCD I'm using is WF57CTLECDNN0.if any driver files available, please share so that i can understand and use it
I want to know can I use touchGFX without LTDC and with FMC (because I use SSD1963)? I don't want change my hardware. And is it easy to use touchGFX without operating system (bare metal)? or no, it's recommended to use touchGFX with os?Thank you.

Hello, how to let touchgfx font support emoji unicodes?
I tried to use bitmap caching with approach, where I cache all bitmaps except backgrounds during initialization, while background images are cached when changing screens. This method is described here:https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/touchgfx-engine-features/caching-bitmapsThis technique assumes that one uses cacheReplaceBitmap method to replace background images in cache. I'm pretty sure that there is an error in this method, and that's why:While debugging my application, I saw that when I cached background for first screen, it was placed in address X, but the first call of cacheReplaceBitmap copied new image by the address Y, which is not equal to X (actually it is greater than X by the zize of the background). So cacheReplaceBitmap does not replace the bitmap, but rather places new image right after the one I try to swap. I'm assuming, that cacheReplaceBitmap somehow falsely transfers the end address of bitmap to the blockCopy function, when it should be
Hi, I use TouchGFX in my HMI project, I want to create an instance of an object (ig. a button) in runtime (dynamically), so I could destroy it later and free it's allocation memory.I tried create it in a method but it seems to have runtime error:void Screen1View::create_button() { touchgfx::Button button1; button1.setXY(0, 0); button1.setBitmaps(touchgfx::Bitmap(BITMAP_BLUE_BUTTONS_ROUND_EDGE_SMALL_ID), touchgfx::Bitmap(BITMAP_BLUE_BUTTONS_ROUND_EDGE_SMALL_PRESSED_ID)); add(button1); button1.invalidate(); } Does anyone have any solution?
Hi,I'm using STM32H7B0 in my graphical application with a display driven by 18bit RGB interface using LTDC. I would like to implement dynamic display rotation (probably using an accelerometer). Is it possible to do it without double graphic generation (0 and 90 degrees)? I tried to rotate the screen using ILI9341 registers (0x36 and 0xB6 to be exact) but I could get 90 degrees rotation. Thank for your help,Piotr
I would like to use one Dynamic Graph in Wrap Overwrite behavior and display two waveforms, one on the top half and two on the bottom half simultaneously. But could not find any waveform addition feature in Dynamic Graph? How to do that ?
HalloOn mipi display, touchgfx correct show menu, but its clock ans any png damaged. is way to correct it ?
Hi All,I'm developping an custom board with an SPI Display (480x320 poixels). When I enable the TE pin on display and when I managed by Stm32 by interrupt, the touch screen stop to work because TouchControll::sampletouch(uint32_t x, uint32_t y)is no longer called. The IRQ trigger call touchVsync callback. TE interrupt trigger every 16ms.What is the reason of touch screen blocking? Thanks in advance
Hi there -- I have successfully got the TouchGFX interface and HTTPServer Example (LWiP) working on a STM32F769i-Disco however, as I'm adding more things I seem to be having issues with the stack size and/or memory. **Please note: in the attached image you can see the toggle button renders correctly, but all the other buttons and textfields are low resolution. Is this a memory issue? Why would adding the ethernet buffer code cause this. Here's where I'm at right now:I can have both working (touchgfx displays properly), however, the HTTPServer the request takes 30 seconds to return -- it's stalled or hangs, then resolves and displays properly. I think it could be related to a memory setting issue in the RTOSConf?Any idea what could be causing this? I'm new to STM32 dev. Thanks!
I am communicating via SPI to the onboard gyroscope, collecting data and then printing it out to the onboard LCD using the ILI9341 controller also with SPI included on the board. The lcd however has some very odd behavior. When communicating with it using SPI to display pixels on the screen it whites out if I send too many things at once. Sending the sleep out followed by display on commands fixes this, which tells me its forcefully going into sleep mode. It does not reset the screen however and whatever pixels I was displaying previous to the sleep mode are still there. I tried adding small HAL_Delays where needed, like for example adding it between each pixel setting is far too slow, so when printing out a whole character I add a small delay and that seems to fix it, though I feel like this is just some bandage and its not actually addressing the overarching issue. Also on program start I fill the entire screen black (0xFFFF) and adding a delay to this to stop the sleeping makes it EX

Hi folks.Have broken with a hit the capacitive touch screen that covers the display. A big line has split the touch in two. One part is still responding the other one is dead. The board mounts an obscure LCD_Kunjian_ HT043C_40P_P080_FLEX_FOLDED according to the BOM.Any hints where to get the replacement that does not involve the change of the whole LCD that costs alone way more than the whole board?Best regards
Hi,I have some questions regarding the implementation of an LCD with the STM32F479ii.The display we want to use, has a 800x480 resolution at 60Hz and can have either 16 or 24 bit color depth.A framebuffer for a display like that is of course not going to fit inside the 384kb of internal sram, so we will need external ram.I have read the application note on the LTDC (AN4861) and it does mention that the F479ii supports mapped QSPI sram, but nowhere does it mention using QSPI sram for the framebuffer.Of course QSPI will be slower than a parallel interface to the external ram, but QSPI certainly has a preference over the much simpler hardware design, even when comparing it to a 16 bit interface. So question 1: Is QSPI sram fast enough to be used for the framebuffer, considering that it would be used for nothing but the framebuffer (everything else runs in internal sram)? Then there is the interface to communicate with the display. The F4 supports both 24 bit parallel as well as MIPI DSI. I
How do I implement a image progress without background?
Hi,I am new to STM32F7508-DK. I'm running it's sample LTDC_PicturesFromSDCard, I only want to display image in the board that is present in the sd card. But still get some error with FLASH memory. This is the error:Starting server with the following options: Persistent Mode : Disabled Logging Level : 1 Listen Port Number : 61234 Status Refresh Delay : 15s Verbose Mode : Disabled SWD Debug : Enabled InitWhile : EnabledWaiting for debugger connection...Debugger connectedDebugger connection lost.Shutting down...After this, the LCD turns white and nothing
Hi: What does frontPorchEntered do?If i don't have DMA, i don't have to call?Thanks !
Hello kind community, I'm using the STM32 chip and the LTDC module as a dedicated TFT LCD display driver. Right now I am using the NUCLEO-F767ZI for prototyping, but would like to use an STM32L4R/Px chip for the final build. I don't anticipate it being a challenge to transfer my firmware from the F7 to L4 chip but I am not sure if there is a gap in my thinking.Once I get a hold of an L4 chip, I anticipate generating the initialization code for it using STM32CubeMX then copying the code I will write for the F7 over to the L4 firmware. I haven't worked enough with STM32 MCU's but I assume these all use the same LTDC library so any modification in the code will be limited to initialization code and the rest of the LTDC related code will stay the same? I will use the same package for prototype and final build (144 LQFP) so I don't anticipate problems there as long as I stay consistent with the pin assignments/schematic. Is there any other consideration I am missing that might make this a l
Hello,I have a button with a pause icon on it in TouchGFX, and I want to know how I can change the pause icon into a play icon after it is pressed. TouchGFX only gives me an option to change the icon while the icon is being pressed.
Hi,I have been using STM32F746 with TFT's of Medium Sizes up to 4.3" having RGB Interface on my custom boards. Now I want to Interface Large Display like 12.1" or 15". I know I need a RGB -LVDS Converter Chip , But I want to know How to use LTDC with LVDS Display Datasheet. Attached is a datasheet of Winstar 12.1" Display Module. I'm not able to understand the horizontal & vertical back, front porch values from the datasheet.kindly help me with this.
Hi, I need keyboard for my project. But I dont have touchscreen. I added touchgfx keyboard sample codes to my code. But It needs keypressedHandler.Which I want to do is to trigger this keyPressedHandler callback from my code. For example when I get a keycode from uart I want to trigger this callback (like a touchscreen event ocurred)Anyone has a solution or example code for this purpose ? ThanksErdem
I am using the STM32L4R9ZIJ6 but do not use the DSI Host function. Can the following DSI function pins be left unconnected if the DSI function is not used:DSI_CKN, DSI_CKPDSI_DS__D0N, DSI_D0PDSI_D1N, DSI_D1PThe STM32L4R9 data sheet DS12023 Rev 5, table 15 refers to note (3) for these pins. However Note (3) details the requirement for NC balls
I have a situation with a custom LCD that has the NT35510 chip, within the image titled NT35510-Custom_LCD you will see static at the bottom of the screen, in the image NT35510-DISCO_LCD this is the screen for the STM32F469I-DISCO board that has the NT35510 and the are running the same code. The difference between the custom LCD and the DISCO LCD comes down to glass, touch panel. The initial code I am using for this build has been taken from the STM32F469I example called LCD_DSI_CmdMode_TearingEffect_ExtPin because it had NT35510 set up code and I merged with with the STM32F469I-DISCO TouchGFX Designer generated project, I am still using the OTM8009A LTDC values as it work on the NT35510-DISCO LCD however I have framing issues on the custom LCD which I believe is attributed to the LTDC parameters related to the VSYNC, HSYNC, HBP, VBP, etc.Parameters I am currently using:Vertical Sync: 1Vertical Back Porch: 1Vertical Front Porch: 1Vertical Active: 480Horizontal Sync: 1Horizontal Back Por
I am trying to run QSPI_Perfs example from cube pack for my stm32f746g-disc board. But the images are sort of distorted/corrupted.I am using STM32CubeIDE 1.7.1 & CubeF7 1.16.1 pack.I have faced this issue with other demos too. But the original compiled demo binary downloaded from the product page works fine: https://www.st.com/resource/en/compiled_demos/32f746gdiscovery_demo.zip
