I bought ST25RU3993-HPEV kit to make my project. I try to program the programming board STM32L476RGT6 MCU in CUBE IDE (Not showing board). Then I try STSW-ST25RU001 (ST25RU3993 Reader suite), But not working as well, not reading and writing tags. My aim is to make a project using RFID with my own code. Does it possible to write my C program in this MCU board ? Please help to solve this issue. Thank you

I think RM0456, section 33.4.7 may be wrong describing ADC differential input polarity:"When channel “i” is configured in differential input mode, its negative input voltage is connected to VINN[i-1]."According to Figure 218 and my tests the opposite seems to be correct: negative input voltage is connected to VINN[i+1].

I am trying to create a new inverter board for a Motor Control Workbench 6.1.2 project. I have tried several methods :1. Create clone of B-G431B-ESC1 in STMC Board Manager at choose Inverter stage of project wizard.2. Create new board in BM and save as required inverter name.3. Create new board in BM and save as required inverter name. Edit entry in BM to show correct "name" entry.Method (1) produces an entry in the "choose Inverter" part of the wizard, obviously without image. If I later try to create a new project, I choose general info and motor OK, but when I come to the choose inverter stage, my new board has disappeared, although it is still shown in board manager list, and is accessible for editing, etc. In fact all 3 methods above produce that same result, inverter is in BM list but not in project wizard choice. I noticed that the wizard says it is showing 12 of 12 inverters, the board manager shows a list of 14 inverters. If I search my whole PC for one of the inverters, say EV

Hi, the user loses a part of the screen:

Hi,I developed an application using the STM32G030 having UART working with interrupts. The UART initialization is done by the STM32CubeMX (attached). In addition, I have added code to enable the RXNE and Error interrupts using the LL functions "LL_USART_EnableIT_RXNE_RXFNE(USART1)" and "LL_USART_EnableIT_ERROR(USART1)".  Everything works fine except that as soon as the UART is enabled, the CMF, RXNE and FE flags are set and an interrupt is generated (since I have previously enabled the RXNE and Error interrupts). Is there any reason why the CMF, RXNE and FE flags are set as soon as the UART peripheral is enabled? Thanks

in ISO808 I have connected +5V at VDD and +28V at VCC. In my application isolation is not required so is it ok if I short GNDDD and GNDCC with filter?

For a project i need to add the sensor VL53L0X to a program, i've found the Library for the sensor ( STSW-IMG005 ) i can compil the program with no error , but don't work , i'm pretty sure it's from the adaptation from the library to my STM32, if you have a similar case or can help me it will be appreciated !

Hello,I use a STM32H7A3ZI-Q board, and I can't select TrueSTUDIO as IDE in the project settings ... Any idea ? Thanks for your support.Maxime

I configured USB_OTG_FS on STM32H745I-DISCO board using STM32CubeIDE.Here are my settings:My `MX_USB_HOST_Init()` function is called in `DefaultTask`.It completes without errors.`USBH_UserProcess()` is called whenever a USB disk is inserted to the port, with `HOST_USER_CONNECTION`.Then, in only one of like 10 different pendrives - I get `HOST_USER_CLASS_ACTIVE` state, then everything works, I can use any format on the USB disk. Via FatFs library. I tested it with FAT32 and ExFAT. Both seem to work perfectly without any issues. But I just can't buy another pendrive that works with that. 10 other pendrives don't work. I get `HOST_USER_CONNECTION` and that's it. Nothing. The device is not detected as mass storage device. What's especially infuriating, that it happens also with exactly the same looking pendrives. They have the same capacity, same speed, even the same look, branding and all. TBH: I have 3 pendrives that work with H745. 2 of them were bought together, in one batch, the other

Hi, I have tried programming and resetting this discovery Board but all I now get is this fuzzy grey screen as shown in the image is there anyway to do a hardware reset or is it a programming error? I just either want to reset the board back to its default state with a touchscreen menu, or a simple TouchFX example to work... Thanks

Hello, could you let me know which is the ST 3D Accelerometer chip with the highest accuracy? There is no need for gyroscope, neither for magnetometer. Thank you,Dimitris

Hi everybody, I need to integrate the ST25R3911B NFC reader (X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1 a.t.m.) into a project with STM32H735G running FreeRTOS (with a TouchGFX task and another peripheral task running ). https://community.st.com/t5/st25-nfc-rfid-tags-and-readers/interfacing-st25r3911b-with-stm32f072-using-freertos/m-p/570845#M8893 following this old thread: I integrated https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-st25r-lib.html library (latest release v1.5), put NFC ndef r/w demo inside a task with st25r3911Isr called inside EXTI0_IRQHandler and actually it works! But, of course, the SPI reading executed inside an IRQ is not efficient, in fact, other tasks don't work properly. So now I'm trying to integrate the FreeRTOS_polling example, located in ST25R3916B / X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 folder... it looks good to me but I can't get it working correctly, it instantly fails on the demoIni() where rfalNfcInitialize() returns 0x8 System Error. Has

I successfully ran the BLDC hub motor with sensorless method (sensorless + PLL) with EVSPIN32G4 hardware. My motor have the inbuilt hall sensor with 60 degree placement. Now, I am trying to configure with hall sensor. I get the speed feedback error in pilot software. I want to know some parameters in st mc wb software. Doubt no 1: In motor parameter in st mc wb have the placement electrical angle feature. I need to give the hall sensor electrical angle value of motor electrical value. if hall sensor electrical angle value means, how can I  calculate that angle. Refer the below picture. Doubt no 2: In speed position feedback management in st mc wb software, have the parameters of Average speed FIFO depth, input capture filter duration and use MTPA. Explain that parameters and how can I use. Kindly refer the below picture. Doubt no 3: If am enabling the hall sensor as main feature and enabling sensorless + PLL as auxiliary feature. If the main sensor fails, how c

In your document AN5766 Migrating within STM32U5 series microcontrollers. You mention that the JPEG Codec will be available in STM32U5Fx/5Gx. i try find this microcontroller in the Cube IDE but cant.do u have info about it or datasheet for it?RegardsM.Salem

Hi ST Team,I am using STM32U575 MCU. I want to create signed binary. I want to upload signed firmware in MCU and also update only new signed firmware via Native bootloader and want to restrict unknown firmware updates. How can I create signed firmware for STM32U5 MCU?Does ST's native bootloader verify signature firmware before updating new firmware or I need to add custom bootloader to restrict unknown firmware updates by verifying signature? If ST's native bootloader verify signature then when should I need to do configuration for that? Can you please guide me.Thanks in advance,VIJAY.

I have a very simple ADC setup for one-time conversion, only one Vrefint channel enabled, no DMA, ADC clock is 16MHz, MX_ADC4_Init() called with no error.HAL_ADC_Start() fails due to a timeout internally waiting for ADC_FLAG_RDY to be set in ADC_Enable() function.I am clueless, identical setup on STM32H7A3 works with not problems.CubeMX is the latest 6.8.1, hardware package STM32Cube FW_U5 V1.2.0

Hello ST Community,There was a thread by Aurelien about this topic, but I did not understand the answer. So let me rephrase the question with my own words.I have a STM32U5 based device with high security settings (TZEN=1, RDP=2). Is there any other means to regress to TZEN=0, RDP=0 than OEM2KEY provisioning and JTAG/SWD communication? By software?Regards.

Hi,I'm working on creating a simple soundcard with a simple codec called pcm5102a which is a part of the kernel source. My board is the STM32MP135F-DK. I2S seems to be enough for this purpose however if you think that SAI will work better, then I'll take advice on that happily as well. The current configuration is as in the attached audio_test.zip with I2S1 enabled and SPI1 Clock Mux set to PLL3Q instead of the default PLL4P (all set in the STM32CubeMX). The configuration is inserted into the build with a new machine and it does build without any problems. It's only after the boot that aplay -l doesn't list any soundcards, moreover below message is visible in the dmesg output:  [ 3.600504] st,stm32-i2s 44004000.audio-controller: Could not get x8k parent clock: -2 [ 3.607136] st,stm32-i2s: probe of 44004000.audio-controller failed with error -2  I read that the x8k is one of the clocks necessary for audio handling, however can't figure out how to fix that.Below are th

I am using NUCLEO-H503RB as I3C Target with LL library. What's the minimum size of TX-FIFO available when I3C Target is reading by Controller?I setup I3C Target TX-FIFO using function "LL_I3C_ConfigTxPreload" with 1 byte, but it always runs 8 bytes per time.According to the datasheet, the size of TX-FIFO would be TGTTDCNT if size is lower than 8 bytes.Tx-FIFOMy TGTTDCNT settings:TGTTDCNTThe test procedure is I3C Controller start a private read with 11 bytes and Target return the array contents. The source code is attached, the result diagram is described below.I3C Read Test

I'm trying to talk to a New Haven NHD-0216CW-AG3 OLED, and I set up a driver using the HAL system on a STM32F373 controller. I realized once I'd written it that it's blocking, and I want to move to a non-blocking system using the _IT functions.Just changing the transmit commands from HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit to HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit_IT suddenly turned all my results into gibberish on the screen instead of nice text like I had. What do I need to do to move from blocking to non-blocking I2C commands?

I recently update my STM32L4 HAL library from 1.9 to 1.13.  After that, using the HAL_I2C_Mem_Write_IT function, I got stuck in an error routine because TCR flag was set and that shouldn't happen:        When I looked at the changes in the HAL library, I saw that the HAL function changed the transfermethod to RELOADinstead of the AUTOEND that it used in the old library version when the amount of bytes was less than 256: I think this is a mistake. The I2C transfer should always be using AUTOENDunless the amount of bytes exceeds 255. Am I overlooking something here? Ewout Boks

Hello,I am working with a STM32H743 and an Ethernet controller which I drive with SPI.So I don't use the ETH config in CubeMX (and I can't because pins are already taken by other functionalities), but I'd like to use the LWIP package which can't be enabled without ETH IP configured. Is it really impossible to enable or is there an other way ?Thanks in advance.Regards,Sulian

Hi,I'm trying to send an event when a button is clicked.I have added an interaction in Touchgfx designer to call a virtual function when the button is clicked. In Screen1view.cpp I'm overwriting the virtual functionvoid SendDataOnButtonClicked(){presenter->SetMode();}in presenter.cppvoid Screen1Presenter::SetMode(){model->SendEvent();}In Model.cppvoid Model::SendEvent(){Send data to backend.}Is this the correct way of sending data to backend when button is clicked ? Right now I'm stuck at view.cpp.I dont know how to call presenter  from view.Codes that I tried.Method 1:Screen1ViewBase::presenter->SetMode();Method 2:Method 2:presenter->SetMode(); Both these codes are throwing compiler errors. Can somebody please help and let me know the right way of accessing the function in presenter?
