Solved

Hello to everyone,I have an issue with the MCU in the title. I am about to show you my problem in some steps:1- What is the flash memory size of my microcontroller? I consulted the datasheet of device and I read: So, for this series, I can have up to 64 Kbytes of memory flash. Specifically, for this package I should have a 32 Kbytes memory flash. Right?2- Where can I store my application data in the memory flash?I taked a look to 'Build Analyzer' in STM32cubeIde and I saw the size of FLASH: 32 KB, and the used space 30.96 Kb, about 96.77 % of the space. With 'Memory' tool I saw every sector of the flash and where the memory address is out of range, it shows me a series of '?' like follow: but, where I thinked to be out of range I see that:Is that unsed flash memory space or what? From the datasheet I see the memory organization:  For the main memory there is 2k for each page, so in my case I should have only 16 available pages (?).Ignoring that, I started to store my

When using the latest git to build TF-A . Have been following the README_HOW_TO form git. All the steps are given blow.1. The git does not contain the build file .sdk , it is only provided in the ECO package. it is not clearly stated to get the file form the  ECO package and put above the source folder for the git build. Why is it not there and why put it above the source location ? This apples both to optee and TF-A2. make -f $PWD/../Makefile.sdk allMessage show: Missing u-boot-stm32mp157c-ed1.dtb file in folder: '$FIP_DEPLOYDIR_UBOOT' or '$FIP_DEPLOYDIR_ROOT/u-boot'3. make -f $PWD/../Makefile.sdk TF_A_DEVICETREE=stm32mp157c-dk2 TF_A_CONFIG=trusted ELF_DEBUG_ENABLE='1' allMessage shown: No boot device driver is enabled4 the FIP_DEPLOYDIR_UBOOT has no output files, why is it mentioned in the script ? (item 2)5. the DEPLOYDIR has .stm32 fwconfig and debug files. Is this all that is needed ? The documentation does not state what the output files should be.6. the FIP_DEPLOYDIR_ROOT h

I have an Error using a Custom Board with a STM32H743ZI controller.First a want to use the internal Flash and RAM_D1 for the TouchGFX App but i always get a Hardfault on LineFrontendHeap& heap=FrontendHeap::getInstance();__HAL_RCC_CRC_CLK_ENABLE(); is executedmy Toolchain is up to dateany ideas?

Figure 1 of the ST25R3918 spec shows an AGD pin in addition to the GND_A pin.   It is connected to VSS through two capacitors.  I don't see this pin on the Table 1 pin assignments.  What is the intention? Thanks,Ted

Hi there, I'm facing a problem with Cube IDE (ver. 1.13.0). Completely out of nowhere, it stopped letting me debug or run the code. When I click the buttons, I can see in the bottom right corner that it tries to launch the debugger, but it stops at Launching XXXX Debug: 0% and immediately disappear. I already tried to reinstall everything, but nothing happened. I also tried to start the GDB server manually but nothing... Actually, the board and ST-Link (V3MINI) are OK, and I can program the board through STM32Programmer. Can anybody please help me? I can't work like that...Thanks Simone

Hello i  two questions ,1) i use mcu STM32F042T6Y a give the same power  supply 3.3v to pin VDD,VDDA and VDDIO2, is this a problem?(many gpio(i chose the gipo tollerant) input  of mcu work to 5V and i use the usb host of mcu )2) i want use  a external oscillator ASE-8000MHzLCT i connected the oscillator output to PFO and PF1 is flating (not connect),is this corret ? if yes , the oscillator   external give me  greater stability of interal rc clock ? (i sue mcu as usb host virtual com port)

After building the TF-A from ECU 5.0.0 download (not the git). found the FIP folder and bin files. Deleted the FIP folder (export FIP_DEPLOYDIR_ROOT=$PWD/../../FIP_artifacts After running $ make -f $PWD/../Makefile.sdk all again the FIP folder and files are not generated anymore. Also tried make clean but no resolve.Deleted the tf-a folder, restarted everything again (untar the tar etc...and followed all from the readme again ) but still not FIP folder or  files are generated, even the build does report the files were generate (see below output)# for some reason this does not create the FIP folder and files  after the 1st time run ! it also delets the FIP_artifacts /arm... folder if run for a 2nd time ! this is the same with optee. Why is this designed this way ? the solution might be never ever run this:$ make -f $PWD/../Makefile.sdk all# for some reason this creates the FIP folder and output files but does not create default binaries$ make -f $PWD/../Makefile.sdk DEPLOY

Hello,I am trying to read voltage, current and frequency from ATM90E26 IC using STM32G491 with SPI communication. I am getting voltage values correctly.1.But while reading frequency value If I give 100 Hz I am receiving 50 Hz.2.While reading current values I am getting always zero value.3.While reading Metering Status register I am getting Meter Status as:E400 or 2400 but From Hardware side its configures as L line mode but from Metering Status register I am getting anti-tampering mode (larger power)with N line. Is it effecting the current measurement?4. I am reading Irms register value(L line mode) for current measurement. I am always getting zero value. If I read Irms2(N line current rms) I am getting some value other than zero and its not changing If I change input current also.5. I read Status register I got E001 value.6.check sum error means what do I need to do to solve the error? Can anyone please suggest me how to solve the issues. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I need help with stspin32g4 I'm programming it with nucleo-64 SWDI wrote a program with blinking led, then trying to start debbugging, i got "Break at address "0x1fff4b14" with no debug information available, or outside of program code."despite this downloading goes on,but led doesn't blinking, it starts when i turn off and turn on power supply of stspin32g4, so it looks like it is on breakpoint

Hi,I am using the nucleo-h563 I3C (Controller mode) to connect to a JEDEC I3C standard DDR5 PMIC chip. The CCC & private communication is doing well by the STM32H563. But when I trying the IBI transfer, I found the IBI request from the PMIC which the payload is 6 bytes including the MDB byte. For JEDEC standard, it might even contain a PEC byte which is a CRC-8 checksum as the 7th byte. Since the STM32H563 can accept max. 4 bytes(limited by I3C_IBIDR) only, The H563 will interrupt the IBI transfer at the 4th data byte. Refer to the following image:Because the IBI transfer is interrupted and not completed, the PMIC will repeatedly issue the IBI request as follow:Is there any method can make the MCU accept the whole payloads ? Any kind of help is appreciated.

hello every one , I'm working with nucleo 144 F4, and im trying to send data via virtual com port using CDC_Transmit_FS, but in my Hterm im receiving junk data also i don't why ,,i saw online that there is zero length packet but i don't know how to implement it , im trying to test with this function with sending just 0void sendvalue(void) {   CDC_Transmit_FS(0, 8);}and call it in the main function and you can see in the screenshot what i receive in my pc  ,  i will appreciate it if someone can help me thanks

How can I get the document of SPC582Bx IO_ Definition document?

LSM6DSO occasionally indicates Accelerometer data is ready and Gyroscope data is not.  But, the odd thing is, if the Gyroscope data is read regardless of it's state of readiness, the Gyroscope values continue to change as expected.  Specifically, the Gyroscope data still looks good.It was expected that the Gyroscope data would be "frozen" or "all zeros" when the Gyroscope ready bit was zero.  It was not expected the Gyroscope data would still be changing and reflect what physically was happening to the Gyroscope sensor. Specifics:Chip: LSM6DSORegister: LSM6DSO_STATUS_REG (0x1EU)Bits:  XLDA (bit 0) & GDA (bit 1)

A few days ago I successfully tested erasing the NORFlash as entire chip erase, block erase, and sector erase. I also was able to write a string to Flash and read the string back out of Flash into a buffer. After working on other development I came back and tested the QSPI again and now I cannot erase or write but can still read out of Flash the test string that was written several days ago. I'm using the exact same code as the first test, trying to just erase and read and get the same string so proved it's not erasing also try to write a different test string and still get the old string when I read. Also during the initial test it would take a little time for a full chip erase and now it just goes through quickly also indicating an erase is not happening. I do have MPU setup for the the 0x90000000 Flash address as well for MPU_PRIVELEDGED_DEFAULT but have access set for ALL_ACCESS so thought this was ok.

HiWhen I Generate Code i find that HAL_Tick code is not generated and I am required to manually add code to get any MX code to work (given many _Init functions rely on HAL_Tick).  I add the code, below, to a USER_CODE area but I don't see why I should have to.Regards uint32_t HAL_GetTick (void) { static uint32_t ticks = 0U; uint32_t i; if (osKernelGetState () == osKernelRunning) { return ((uint32_t)osKernelGetTickCount ()); } /* If Kernel is not running wait approximately 1 ms then increment and return auxiliary tick counter value */ for (i = (SystemCoreClock >> 14U); i > 0U; i--) { __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); __NOP(); } return ++ticks; }

I have shortlisted the following microcontroller https://www.st.com/en/automotive-microcontrollers/sr6p7c8.html#tools-software for one of the protoype demonstration. For this prototype development, I will be using MATLAB Simulink, to create a model and then inturn create a c/c++ code using Embedded Coder Block. Since MATLAB does not support directly this hardware (It supports code generation for ARM Cortex R controllers). I would like to know where can I find board support packages or SDK for this microcontroller?

Dear all,First of all, I would like to say that my experience con STM32 uprocessors and STMcubeIDE is limited.I have defined a FMC on STM32CubeMX as shown in picture 1.Then I have defined a function to test FMC. The function is: Test_DPM, shown in picture 2.The other details needed:#define SRAM_BANK_ADDR ((uint32_t)0x60000000) //Fig. 5, AN4891 Application Note#define WRITE_READ_ADDR ((uint32_t)0x0800)In picture 4 you have the initialization on main.c.When I executed this, "HAL_SRAM_Write_16b" does not return enything and the application hangs.I am writting to port B of Dual-Port - Memory, Renesas 70V24L15PFGAny idea of what can be the problem? If you need further details, please do not hesitate to ask for them. I will be happy supplying them. Thanks in advance, Regards,Joaquin.

Where on git are the files for gcnano in the ECO 5.0.0 located  ?The readme in the ECO 5.0.0. repo does not provide a link. gcnano binaries

Hi, I am having issue using a M24512RP in the exact same place as a M24512RT (I am talking of marking code on the chip). I2C EEPROM.From the datasheet it seems that 'T' suffixe is used to identify packing which would make sense for an ordering code, but not a marking code ?Am I missing something are they supposed to be 100% compatible ?T = Tape and reel packingP or G = Lead-Free and RoHS compliant regards,

Hello,Not sure that the product I'm looking for exist. It should behave like LED driver but after looked through different LED I didn't find a product that meet my requirements:can drive 1 ... 15 LEDs connected in serieshave a possibility to change current through LEDs (not by PWM !)have a possibility to switch ON/OFF LEDs rapidly ... to assure bitrate 200kb/secDoes such a product exist ?Thanks.

I added in another printf statement just to make sure it was working. In the putty terminal I was able to see "Hello world", but not the actual data I needed to see: printf("Time: %lu ms, Input Voltage: %.2f V\n", HAL_GetTick() - start_time, input_voltage); I believe the microcontroller is not sending data over serial line, but does appear to be collecting it, however there could be another issue. I am using a NUCLEO-F767ZI microcontroller, and using STM32CubeIDE.This is my code:#include <stdio.h>#include <stdlib.h>#include "stm32f7xx_hal.h" /* Define UART handle */UART_HandleTypeDef huart3; ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc; // Declare 'hadc' here void Error_Handler(void) { while (1); }void SystemClock_Config(void) { /* Configure system clock here */ } /* Initialize UART */void init_uart(void) {huart3.Instance = USART3;huart3.Init.BaudRate = 9600; // Baud rate: 9600 bpshuart3.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B;huart3.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; // Stop

Hello, I'm new at developing Wireless applications with the STM32WB and can not find why old data from old commands stays somewhere in my code and affects my new commands sent. Im writing the command strings into Myble_Characteristic_Command with the ST BLE Toolbox. Everything works fine as long as the Command has the termination character ("!"), but if the command does not have this and a longer command was sent before, the new command is now joined with the following old characters until the old termination character. I can not find where is this old data being stored. For example if I send first the command: "C:Hello!", the received command is "C:Hello!" but if then I send a shorter command without the termination character ("!") like: "C:Hi", the received command is "C:Hillo!" which of course is not correct. I found the old data is comming from attribute_modified->Attr_Data but can not find the way of setting it to empty characters before the write event occu

Has anyone implemented or does ST provides a library where the NDEF records can be appended or chained together for data logging such as long term sensor data etc without overwriting the old records? Looking at the current NDEF library of the ST25DV it does not seem to do so. Does anyone has any workaround or solution for this? Thanks

Hi everyone,I am trying to generate a Makefile for the B-U585I-IOT02A board on the STM32CubeMX 6.5.0 for Linux and the Makefile option under:Project Manager -> Project Settings -> Toolchain / IDE,and that option is greyed out.Why is it disabled? Is this feature missing? Thanks in advance.
