I2C was used in stm32, butIn the picture below, I am using the Write and Read functions, but the error message “busy” appears. Is there a way to resolve this?I'll post pictures and code together.

I'm using a custom board with a STM32L431RCT6 MCU and I need to activate the Ultra Low Power modes on it. I'm trying to use HAL_Delay before HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMODE() and that's where the code breaks. Does anyone have any sugestion on how to fix the problem?I'm a beginner using CubeIDE and using microcontrollers in general.

Hi , I am using STM32L072CBT6 for my project. We have to use USB for configuration purpose. The controller VDD is connected to 1.8V power supply, but the VDD_USB is 3.3V. Is there any issue to connect 2 different powers ?

Can I use STM32F401RCT6 to be I2C master and slave at the same time?1: For the Master, I use I2C1 -> pin PB6 and PB7, I will read data from the current sensor ICs.2: For Slave, I use I2C3 -> pin PA8 and PC9, I will send and receive data from another STM32.Does it work? Please give me advice. Thanks everyone,

Hey, i am currently planning to work with the ISM330DLC and am wondering if its possible to change the full-scale selection of Accelerometer (CTRL1_XL (10h) - FS_XL [1:0]) during operation. Or is it mandatory to stop the ISM to change the control register values. I could not find any  information regarding that topic in the datasheet attached.

I noticed that there is the ST25DV SDK for Java, but is there any package yet for iOS devices? I am currently using Flutter and I can use the Java SDK for Android, but there is no package for the iOS devices. If currently there is no package for iOS yet, is there any plans in the future to create a package in Swift or Objective C? Thank you before!

I use a STM32F469I-DISCO, developed with TouchGFX and CubeIDE.I've ever flashed with TouchGFX and all work fine. Now I need to send .hex file to customer, I'm going to use a standalone programmer like STM32CubeProgrammer to flash production with the same .hex file but actually I'm still failing.I'm using target.hex, that should be int+ext memory file, with CubeProgrammer but it's able only to updload internal flash (and it works) but doesn't upload external flash..I've tried to select IS42S32400F_STM32F469I-DK in UI CubeProgrammer "external loader", but doesn't work.I've tried with dos commandSTM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=swd mode=UR -el ExternalLoader\IS42S32400F_STM32F469I-DK.stldr target.hexbut it return-------------------------------------------------------------------STM32CubeProgrammer v2.14.0-------------------------------------------------------------------Error: Wrong external loader file: target.hexAny help? Thanks

I encountered a problem with building project from STM32CubeMX v6.9.1 with generated Makefile and CMSIS_V2 enabled. Starting build by 'make' returns an error 1 for /main.o "Can not find specified file". On the other hand, when using CMSIS_V1 everything is building without errors. Is it something with CubeMX or CMSIS_V2 need some extra configuration, when using makefile from Cube? I am using GNU Make 3.81 for Windows and tried build it with two version of GNU Arm Compiler: v10.3-2021.10 and 9 20-q1-update.

Hi!I am trying to install the IDE on my macOS 10.13 (High Sierra), after completing the installation when trying to open it it gives the message: ' “STM32CubeIDE? is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. 'I tried to re-download it and re-install it several times, after deleting the previous copies, but after many attempts I get the same problem. I even tried installing the previous version but it said it was incompatible.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

With reference to STM32L496xx datasheet (DS11585 rev 17) page 152 table 49, can maximum values be provided for IVDD_VBAT with RTC enabled and clocked by LSE quartz, for VBAT=3.0V and at 25°C and 55°C? (The red marked cells)

Hello everyone. I was looking for the schematic of the STM32F207VGT6 but couldn't find it. Can anyone share this if they have it? Thanks.

Hello everyone, I have a big problem with the hardware. I designed the hardware before dealing with the Cubemx. Starting from a circuit that worked, I mistakenly thought that giving the system RGB666 from RGB888 meant giving bits 0 to 6 R0...R6, G0..G6, B0..B6. I then connected the two bits of the display R0, R1, G0, G1, B0 B1 to ground, as shown in the figure. But I have the problem that everything is wrong. Is it possible to remap LTDC so I can see everything properly? Thanks for your help.

Hi,I decided to upgrade my STM32CubeMX to the latest version 6.9.1.my project was generated first with STM32CubeMX 6.5.0 - so I had to copy the IOC manually.I checked multiple times that all configuration is the same like it was, and it is. when I'm calling the LWIP method udp_new() I'm getting NULL and than I can't send any UDP message.I did a debug and notice this is happening under "do_memp_malloc_pool" function in the memp.c file this is not happening in the old code generation. it there special configuration that I'm not aware of? thanks for the help!

STM32MP157AAA  custom board with DRAM, SD- EMMC, USB and UART , Discrete power( no PMIC) . The board uses discrete oscillators for HSE and RTC, so they are set as Crystal OSC for both in CubeMX USB, UART are correctly configured (same as the default peripheral settings). DRAM is correctly setup based on the used DRAM chip. In .config the PMIC options is disabled and legacy power enabledThe CubemX settings were verified by the SOM manufacturer as being correct. This board has run a previous version of the ECO system without problems.TF-A uses SCMI but if the file #include "stm32mp15-scmi-u-boot.dtsi" is included, errors occur. To fix some other CubeMX generated dts file errors:a. Add a file stm32mp157a-<board>.dsti file in the main dts file. (which CubeMX did not add as an include). This fle is empty.b.. Add a binman entry to the stm32mp157a-<board>.dsti. Thee definition was found in stm32mp15-scmi-u-boot.dts and if not included u-boot fails with a message tha

Hi,I'm trying to get the infamous Synopsys OTG module to work. I'm not using the STM32Cube libraries, instead I'm rolling my own HAL based on the reference manual, which, as some have noted elsewhere in this forum, is pretty bad.Currently I'm stuck because the core is transmitting zero length packets in response to IN transfers on endpoint 0, no matter what I put in the FIFO or program in DIEPCTL0 and DIEPTSIZ0. Here's my code: static void _ep0_write(struct usb_module *module, size_t ep, const uint8_t *data, size_t length) { assert(module != NULL); assert(data != NULL || length == 0); assert((_OTG_DTXFSTS(module->base, ep) & _OTG_DTXFSTS_INEPTFSAV_MASK) * 4 >= length); _OTG_DIEPTSIZ0(module->base) = _OTG_DIEPTSIZ0_PKTCNT_VALUE(1) | _OTG_DIEPTSIZ0_XFRSIZ_VALUE(length); _OTG_DIEPCTL0(module->base) |= _OTG_DIEPCTL0_EPENA_MASK | _OTG_DIEPCTL0_CNAK_MASK; size_t word_count = (length + 3) / 4; for (size_t w = 0; w < word_count; w++) { // Yes we're prob

Hi!When i run this code in SRAM via the UART bootloader "go command": asm("cpsid i\n"); // turn off prefetch and set FLASH.latency to 0 cFicen(); cFprften(); uFlatency(0); while (gFlatency()!=0); // config GPIO (seems to have no effect on power consumption) ((u32*)GPIO[A])[MODER]=-1U; ((u32*)GPIO[A])[OSPEEDR]=0; ((u32*)GPIO[A])[PUPDR]=0; ((u32*)GPIO[C])[MODER]=-1U; ((u32*)GPIO[D])[MODER]=-1U; ((u32*)RCC)[IOPENR]=0; // switch sysclk to LSI and turn off HSI (initial letter:s=set,c=clr,g=get,u=update) sClsion(); while (!gClsirdy()); uCsw(LSI); while (gCsws()!=LSI); cChsion(); // go to low power run mode sPlpr(); // go to low power sleep mode while (!gPreglpf()); cSCRsleepdeep(); asm("wfi\n"); I get a current of 136uA, where the external parts (PCA9306, SP0504, 2 LDOs, NCP431 voltage clamp) use 20uA...Even in "run mode"/range2/SRAM/8MHz it used 728uA, instead of the typical 600uA+20uA.Can someone here say, how i can save those 100uA?Should I try another board without all those ex

I have been working on a project for many months now with TouchGFX v4.20.  I was modifying some of the text strings I had defined in TouchGFX Designer and now the texts/TextKeysAndLanguages.hpp is no longer being generated. When trying to start the simulator I see that it says something about an unexpected character (see below output).  This is halting any work I can do with TouchGFX anybody ever experience this??Run SimulatorGenerateDoneGenerate Assetsmake -f simulator/gcc/Makefile assets -j8Reading ./application.configUnexpected character at -~Cleaning generated files from generated/texts and generated/fonts.

I have run into problems trying to get voice data from the MP34DT05-A PDM Microphone on the BlueNRGLP eval board. Specifically, and after spending a fair chunk of time (using the BLE_Sensor_Demo_BlueMSApp demo code as a starting point), it appears the ADC register is not being updated while talking into the PDM mic. I was using the KEIL memory window to monitor ADC memory addresses and was looking at the Downsample and Decimation data output registers, which render 0x00000000 and 0xDA880000 respectively. They never change despite applying sound. This leads me to believe that either the PDM microphone or ADC is not being suitably initialized (or something else...that covers the possibilities). Anyone have any suggestions how to slay this beast?Update 07-11-22: Not using Downsample (DS) so that is not of concern. I am using the Decimation Filter (DF). Also learned PDM digital data comes straight from the MP34DT05-A chip and ADC performs decimation (at least I think that's how it works).C

After playing around a bit and talking and googling some stuff is my vref wiring correct our should 3.3VA be removed as in some other examples

Hello,I'm trying to use FatFS with both USB HOST MSC class and SDIO.FatFS always tries to access the SD card whatever the drive number used in f_mount.May be I'm wrong with the path I use to access the devices : "0" for SD card, "1" for USB.Any help will be welcome.

Hello,I'm pretty new in working with STM32WB-Chips and trying to implement a BLE-Application.I am using a STM32WB55 Chip and for initial steps I created a project using Cube IDE and a Custom Template according to ST's "Getting Started" - Series on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKYWy7LKL68&list=PLnMKNibPkDnG9JRe2fbOOpVpWY7E4WbJ-&index=16).This works in general and I can read and write characteristics using the BLE Toolbox App on my smartphone. Now I want to update a characteristic value from my main-function, e.g. to distribute new sensor data via BLE.I added the needed header files in my main and try to call the functions Custom_STM_App_Update_Char() or aci_gatt_update_char_value().The compiler gives me no warnings or errors, but calling this functions in the main loop leads to a HardFault during runtime.Stepping into showed that the HardFault occurs after calling the static void SendCmd()-function probably.Calling this functions from custom_stm.c

Hello im new to embedded design in general and have a simple question for the vref pins on my stm should i directly wire vref- to ground and vref plus to my 3.3v supply or is there another way this is done:grinning_face:?

Hi,I have attached code for .ino .cpp .h has changed to txt file attached here, please verify my code i get error server for erase function failure. and some time not working properly please assist us. please say how to solve this issue. my error was attached with image.

Dear Members,I am using STM32L4P5VGT, STM32CubeMX 6.9.1, and STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.18.0.I am steaming data on UART using TX DMA. With the HAL driver, it works fine but do not like to use it due to processing and decided to use the LL driver and had a tough time making it work. It looks like the issue is in the header file supplied with CubeMX. I have to make the following change in the auto-generated file "usart.c" as below, where I have decremented the index.LL_DMA_SetPeriphRequest(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1, LL_DMAMUX_REQ_USART1_TX - 1);in functionMX_USART1_UART_Init, the first line. After the above change things worked. To make it simple, I have added a limited code of init of DMA, Interrupt, and User code to transmit the data. For UART - GPIO and its configuration-related code were removed.  MX_GPIO_Init();  MX_DMA_Init();  MX_USART1_UART_Init();  /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */  LL_DMA_DisableChannel(DMA1,   LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1);  LL_DMA_SetDataLength(DMA1,&nb
