Hi,I have an STM32H573I-DK Discovery kit with me. I wanted to try out Edge AI applications on it, and was checking out the STM32Cube.AI Developer Cloud. When I reached the "Generate" section and browsed through the listed boards, I could not find any of the STM32H5 series MCUs listed. Is it because they are not supported? Will I be able to use it if I use X-Cube-AI with CubeMX?

Dear ST community,                                 I am facing an issue with the virtual COM port for my NUCLEO-F070RB board. It is not working on my Windows 11 computer, and I am not sure how to resolve this. Can you please provide me with some guidance or solutions to this problem?   Thanks and Regards, Santhosh

I want to use the IWDG watchdog with the maximum possible time delay of approx. 30 seconds. As the device cannot be switched off, It has to go into standby mode (HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMode) instead.  The issue here is, that the watchdog would wake it up after 30 seconds. Therefore I want to make the IWDG faster just before going into the sleep mode in order that it comes up again and then going into sleep mode a second time but without setting the IWDG. My Question: Can the IWDG be triggered immediately or make it expire faster if it is already running?

I am evaluating the ASTRA1B demonstration board. I powered up the board, with factory firmware, via USB and attached an STLINK-V3MINIE debugger/programmer to the J300/STDC14 connector on the expansion board to a PC running TT.Output to console worked fine. Noticed LoRa radio was broadcasting at EU868.I am US based, so I need to configure it to use US915 band.I started a new STM32 project and imported CustomUC source code into CubeIDE.Used CubeMX to configure FP-ATR-ASTRA1 -> Parameter Settings -> STM32WL_SUBGHZ_REGION to US915.Built and flashed the board. - No console output. Tried different baud rates, 9600, 115200. No console output.I have used this setup to build, flash and run a LoRa Nucleo-WL55 board without problems. After some online research, learned that UART configuration is in the STM32_WPAN section of IOC.Tried enabling CFG_HW_LPUART1_ENABLED, which was disabled. Re-flashed the board. No console output.I tried hacking the code in main() to call DBG_PRINT

I have purchased the SensorTile.box Pro from Mouser, and the device is excellent to work with on coding. I have loaded 0x0000000 with bin file default from F:\ST_SensorTile_Box_Pro\STM32CubeFunctionPack_STBOX1_V1.5.0\Projects\STWIN.box\Applications\DefaultFw\Binary\DefaultFw.binThe SensorTile.box Pro does not work and is unable to access the Android to start the Dice or Compass demo. How can I get the SensorTile.box Pro back on the day I purchased it on July 27, 2023.Best Regards,Rob

I read RCC RSR to determine the cause of reset. It is not clear to me the purpose of RMVF bit. I guess it resets the other flags but why would I want that ? I wonder if I am missing something.

What is the maximum clock source frequency can I use as an external clock for timer?I have a 20MHz source and PLL frequency made out of this source. The purpose - generate lower frequency pulses that synchronous to that 20MHz clock with controlled delay. I can get 100MHz, 120MHz, 140Mhz, 160 MHz out of that PLL for delay of less or more precision and would like to know what will I be able to get.It could be easy made with FPGA, but since ST got such high speed MCU, I hope I can do it just with a MCU. MCU will be needed anyway.

Hi People,I need to know what will happen when I forget to set the clock configuration by using system clock configuration function. Is there any default clock configuration will set in the microcontroller when I forget to set clock configuration?I'm raising this because I can able to feed the complied code which doesn't have a clock configuration. And still I can able to debug the uploaded code with stm32h7.

HelloIn STM32G474RET6 I want to have 2 banks. Bank 1 for golden (boot image) and Bank 2 for an application image. As I want to have a robust solution I always want to boot from Bank 1 (address: 0x8000000), to check if valid firmware exist in Bank 2 (address 0x8040000) and if ok to jump to Bank 2 and to run firmware stored there. My code based on FLASH_DualBoot example of STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.5.0 is working ok, but it is not good enough for me as it toggle the boot between Bank 1 and Bank 2. Where I can't find simple example code that will simply jump to Bank 2 from Bank 1 (and still remain boot from Bank 1 after next power up)? Thank you. Alex

Wanted to know the available evaluation board for the for  STM32L412RB controller.

Hello, I've tried measure period of  GPS PPS which is very high accuracy. I'm using TIM5 input capture mode, reset slave mode. The TIM5 CCR1 gives value 208877646 that is wrong because I use high accurate generator for sys clock. The right value is about 209000000. So maybe anyone meet the problem? Thanks,Alex.

Hello,I would like to use DMA with SAI but I am having difficulty writing the code. Can you check if my code is correct and why I cannot retrieve the RX values ?  /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ HAL_SAI_RegisterCallback(&hsai_BlockA1, HAL_SAI_RX_HALFCOMPLETE_CB_ID, HAL_SAI_RxHalfCpltCallback); HAL_SAI_RegisterCallback(&hsai_BlockA1, HAL_SAI_RX_COMPLETE_CB_ID, HAL_SAI_RxCpltCallback); fresult= HAL_SAI_Init(&hsai_BlockA1); if (fresult != HAL_OK) { return HAL_ERROR; } fresult = HAL_SAI_Receive_DMA(&hsai_BlockA1, (uint8_t *)playbuf_RX, (sizeof(playbuf_RX))/4); HAL_SAI_RegisterCallback(&hsai_BlockB1, HAL_SAI_TX_HALFCOMPLETE_CB_ID, HAL_SAI_TxHalfCpltCallback); HAL_SAI_RegisterCallback(&hsai_BlockB1, HAL_SAI_TX_COMPLETE_CB_ID, HAL_SAI_TxCpltCallback); fresult= HAL_SAI_Init(&hsai_BlockB1); if (fresult != HAL_OK) { return HAL_ERROR; } fresult = HAL_SAI_Transmit_DMA(&hsai_BlockB1, (uint8_t *)playbuf , (sizeof(playbuf))/4); With CubeMX I ha

Hi,How to get number of glyphs in a font ?numGlyphs variable is not accsesible in GeneratedFont (linked with application) neither in BinaryFont (installed from .bin). Or is it ?// from GeneratedFont.hpp namespace touchgfx { class GeneratedFont : public ConstFont { public: GeneratedFont(const GlyphNode* glyphs, uint16_t numGlyphs, uint16_t height, ... ); ... } class BinaryFont : public GeneratedFont { } Thanks, Ferro

Hello everyone. Is there a way to generate the report files (pdf and txt) via command line in CubeMX?I run STM32CubeMX in command-line mode getting commands from a script, but I didn't find any commands about report generation in the command line summary table.Greetings

Hey,I am using the Nucleo-G474RE board with the X-Nucleo-NFC08A1 NFC Shield and use the X Cube NFC6 library in the Cube IDE environment. The initialization seems to work and there are no errors when building the code, but the demoCycle() function doesn´t work. It can only get into the state DEMO_ST_START_DISCOVERY and then breaks out of the switch function and if I comment out the break of the case it reaches DEMO_ST_DISCOVERY but the if statement gets an error and again breaks out of the switch statement. I can´t find the source of the error and don´t know what to do anymore. The gNfcDev seems to be in the wrong state and doesn´t change to the right one. Can someone please help me?

Dear ST I tried to connect with MCU "stm32l07x using STM32CubeProgrammer as below image 1, image 2. Board power is 3.09V to be measured by ST-Link.However, I can't program it.  carefully check the st-link pin maps as VCC(#1), SWDIO (#7), SWCLK(#9), RST(#15), GND(GND). In here (#1), (#7), (#9), (#15), (#GND) is for 20 pins header. VCC/ SWDIO/ SWCLK/ RST/ GND is for ST-Link. Please hint me on how to trobleshoot for it. Thanks advance.Best Regards, Kevin,

Hi GFX Team,When I collapse a text group in Text View, it is not remebered by GFX Designer for next run ie all groups are always expanded after Designer start. Could you implement this please ? And maybe add 'collapse/expand all groups' in the mouse right click popup menu ?Thank you.Ferro Befor GFX close. And after new GFX Designer seession start.

Hi. Everyone.I'm trying to control external MUX using a GPIO pin in the STM32WB55 microcontroller.Because of a limited number of PWM pins, I'm trying to use a GPIO pin for continuous regular switching. My question is that even though the company said a maximum of 45 MHz (or 9 ns) is possible for the GPIO pin my code does not work properly (mux doesn't switch well without a 1 ms delay). The mux speed is a possible maximum of 100 MHz. So, I do not doubt it's performance but it may be due to the too fast swithing of GPIO pin.I need at least 1 us (1 MHz) switching speed. So, I wonder how can I give 1 us delay to the GPIO pin properly using IDE code?

What does the word “Q” mean in the NUCLEO board, for instance, in “NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q”? How is it related to the MCU? Sorry for my ignorance, I’m new in the stm32 world.

Hello STM32WL Expert,We have developed a custom PCB based on the "STM32WL_QFN48_4Layers_Ref_Board" reference design with STM32WL55CCU6 MCU. It is based on high power and high-frequency configuration. LoRa transmission is handled through the FE_CTRL_2 pin for data transmission and receiving. We are using 32MHz crystal at OSC_IN and OSC_OUT pins. As per reference manual (RM0453) point 5.4.2, the load capacitors are provided by the integratedcapacitor banks that can be trimmed. The trimming is provided by SUBGHZ_HSEINTRIMR and SUBGHZ_HSEOUTRIMR registers.SUBGRF_WriteRegister( REG_XTA_TRIM, XTAL_DEFAULT_CAP_VALUE); SUBGRF_WriteRegister( REG_XTB_TRIM, XTAL_DEFAULT_CAP_VALUE);We have developed the same application on the NUCLEO-WL55JC1 development board and it is working well. The same LoRa communication is not working with custom PCB. Will you please help us to debug the issue?Best Regards,Neel

Hello,After generating my ucf file that I load to my LIS2DUX12 and verify that it works, I wanted to load the generated configuration through a microcontroller so I used the option in Unico GUI to generate the header file which later on I need to include in my project. After analyzing the content of the commands that is sending, I noticed that is sending commands to addresses not listed in the datasheet neither displayed in Unico GUI. This concerns me as these could be reserved registers and then damage the accelerometer:Reviewing the datasheet, the highest address described is 0xB7:Could you point me what is then wrong? Is it the documentation and Unico GUI or the generated file?

I have STM32CubeIDE C project already running for an application.I am planning to integrate a GIT submodule (CPP code) for proprietary communication. Is it possible to add the CPP module into existing C project and run? Please assist.

Hello :)I'm am working with a Nucleo WB55 and I am trying to use the ADC. I assume that the reference voltage used for the conversion is equal to 3.6V because I think that this is the default settings and because when I connect 3.3V to the 12 bits ADC input, I only get about 4040/4095.  I saw on other posts that a configuration panel is available for VREF BUFF, but it doesn't exist in my STM32CubeMX  even if I can  choose VREF BUFF as an output on VREF+ pin. Here is my pinout view where I can choose VREF+ as VREFBUF_OUT : Here is the panel of someone else where VREF BUFF can be configured : Finally here is mine where I can't configure VREF BUFF : My question is : the microcontroller i use allows to use VREF BUFF but I can't configure it in STM32CubeMX. Can someone help me on that? Thanks a lot,Fanny

I'm using my V3PWR probe for weeks now... but this morning it refuses to work. It was working yesterday evening with the same setup. When I connect to the USB-C cable, no led at all , no USB enumeration ... nothing !! I changed the cable without success.Where could I find the hardware schematics to have a chance to track the fault ?Is there a point of failure already identified on these probes ?
