Hi,I am making a project where I need to use hardware buttons, I found some examples with queue and Model:: tick and it works well, but also I found harware button interaction in TouchGFX Designer I want to know how to use it, because it seems like it could be useful for me. When I generated the code i found only this function://Handles when a key is pressed void Screen2ViewBase::handleKeyEvent(uint8_t key) { if(1 == key) { //Interaction1 //When hardware button 1 clicked fade textArea2 //Fade textArea2 to alpha:0 with LinearIn easing in 2000 ms (120 Ticks) textArea2.clearFadeAnimationEndedAction(); textArea2.startFadeAnimation(0, 120, EasingEquations::linearEaseIn); } }So, how could I connect my hardware button to the function?ThanksAnton

Hello,I am new in the STM world.I am using the nucleo-H563ZI deverlopment board and I want to get the virtual COM port to work.On github I found the examples of the Board.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH5 I opend the project "...\Projects\NUCLEO-H563ZI\Applications\USBX\Ux_Device_HID_CDC_ACM" and compiled it.After that the PC recognize a vitual COM Port. So far so good.Now I want to send or receive Data by the virtual COM port.But I can't find the function for sending or receiving Data. Is there anybody who can help me, please? Best regardsChristian

I’m using a STM32WB5MMGHx module on a battery powered device. I need to put the module in Stop mode 2 in order to have a better battery life. After reset when the module enters the stop mode for the first time it stops advertising as it should. After waking up when the module returns to stop mode again the advertisement keeps being active. I need the module to stop advertising every time it enters Stop Mode 2.I’m using HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP2Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI) to enter stop mode 2.

Hi guys.Im trying to port an application from STM32F4 over to U5A5.On the F4 i used an external usb hs phy. I was extremely delighted to find out that the new U5 has an integrated hs phy, only to see that:1. No more ST stack in cubemx. Ok, found a github repository that contains something approximating an usable template.2. No example for HS Phy (Host mode) for this particular family of microcontrollers. Is there *any* (and I mean *any*) kind of sample out there? Usb high speed - host mode - for this MCU? Im sure there must be something out there I haven't been able to find. Thanks!

Hi,We are using MCSDK_v5.Y.4. We would like to implement Stall Detection and are considering using the measured iq current (used in FOC) for detecting a motor stall. We intend to use a Stall_Detection_Threshold, which is just below the "Current_Limit" to detect when the iq current exceeds this threshold for a given duration of time: stall_time. We would like to know if the following function, TSK_MF_StopProcessing(), is recommended to use for stopping the motor, /** * @brief Performs stop process and update the state machine.This function *    shall be called only during medium frequency task */void TSK_MF_StopProcessing( MCI_Handle_t * pHandle, uint8_t motor){#ifdef REV_1 R3_2_SwitchOffPWM(pwmcHandle[motor]);#else ICS_SwitchOffPWM(pwmcHandle[motor]);#endif FOC_Clear(motor); MPM_Clear((MotorPowMeas_Handle_t*) pMPM[motor]); TSK_SetStopPermanencyTimeM1(STOPPERMANENCY_TICKS); Mci[motor].State = STOP;

Hi there,I have developed my project long time with MB1364E, exactly with H723ZG.Now I have got my own PCB with H743. I would like to use ST-Link V3 (SWD) from Nucleo board just the same as it works for cuttable ST-Link from L4 Nucleos, e.g.:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-boards-and-hardware/how-to-use-the-standalone-st-link-capability-of-my-nucleo-after/td-p/306461I have removed JP4 "Idd measurement", JP2 "Power source selection" and JP5 "Power selection".But it seems that Nucleo ST-Link is hardcoded to support only this board.Log from CubeProgrammer:  07:59:18:504 : UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode 07:59:20:007 : ST-LINK SN : 003600453331510B33323639 07:59:20:007 : ST-LINK FW : V3J12M3 07:59:20:008 : Board : NUCLEO-H723ZG 07:59:20:008 : Voltage : 3.29V 07:59:20:008 : Error: ST-LINK error (DEV_TARGET_HELD_UNDER_RESET) 07:59:20:024 : Disconnected  However, when my PCB is not supplied I get another error from CubeProgrammer, the voltag

Hi, is the sensitivity in the datasheet (-38 dBV +-1) normalized to 1 Pa (e.g. -38 dB re 1V/Pa)?

Created a new project for the STM32WB55CE microcontroller and I am trying to configure the SPI1 using the Pinout & Configuration tool. However, SPI1 is greyed out with the message "I2S1 must be disabled". I tried looking for the I2S1 and I think it is implemented with the SAI1, but that is also disabled. Is this just a bug? Or am I missing a setting?SPI1 Greyed OutSAI1 Disabled

Hi,I'm trying to send image data to SD card with OV7670 FIFO cam. For the SD card part, I got FR_NOT_ENABLED error all the time. What do I have to do for the error?Also the code:HAL_Delay(200);FIFO_REN_L();FIFO_WE_H();Vsync=0;ov7670_init();res = f_mount(0, "path", 0);if(res != FR_OK){while(1);}/* USER CODE END 2 *//* Infinite loop *//* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */while (1){/* USER CODE END WHILE */ /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */Camera2LCD();}/* USER CODE END 3 */} void Camera2LCD(void){short count,count2;short x,y;char CAM_Data[2];short CAMdata;int stopTime,startTime;uint8_t HorizantalData[CAM_H * 2]; if(Vsync == 2){startTime = HAL_GetTick();res = f_open(&file, "image.bmp", FA_CREATE_ALWAYS | FA_WRITE);f_write(&file, bmp_header, sizeof(bmp_header), &brw); FIFO_RRST_L();FIFO_RCLK_L();FIFO_RCLK_H();FIFO_RCLK_L();FIFO_RRST_H();FIFO_RCLK_H(); x=0;y=0;for(count2 = 0;count2 < CAM_V; count2++){for( count = 0; count < CAM_H; count++ ){FIFO_RCLK_L();CAM_Data[1] =

Hii thereI am using STM32F410RB (M4). it has a flash of 128 KB divided into following 4  sectorsMy query is that I want to store and retain some non-volatile data in the flash. We can use the last few pages of the flash for this purpose. I have come across a few examples, and they achieve this by either erasing a page or a sector. While working with other microcontrollers, their flash architectures are described in a page format, with page sizes of 1 KB, 2 KB, or so on.Now, the actual issue is writing something into the flash. The smallest section we can erase is either a page or a sector. Erasing the last sector in this microcontroller would result in using 64 KB, half the size of my actual flash, and I don't want that. I only need a space of 2 KB, which is more than enough for me.Question 1: In this flash memory architecture, are the sectors also subdivided into pages? If yes, how can I get the details of the size and address of pages?Question 2: If it is not subdivided into pag

HelloWhat clock frequency and timing scheme is used for Nucleo-8S208RB default? In what documentation can I look this up?In the documentation (UM2364 User manual) for the board NUCLEO-8S208RB, this information is written (see picture), but looking at the board, I understand that none of these schemes (see picture) are used by default. Or did I look wrong and it’s still being used?

Hi there,I'm using ST_Link V3 with H743 MCU. For short debug sessions it works seamlesly.For longer run-time I have to disconnect my computer with CubeIDE and go home, but MCU stays running.Next day, I need to reconnect Debugger and check the state of running MCU, without resetting, without binary update.How can I configure STM32CubeIDE to connect Debuger nonintrusive?

Hi ,We are using the STM32G030C8T6 ,we are looking for a way to update the FW via UART during normal working of our system without changing the IO status during the update .It seems that it jumt to the bootloader and all the IO's become defualt stae.For the first time flash  we are using the ST-LInk. We couldn't find how to do so and if it possible.Regards,Avi

I am looking for example code to read from the ADC_IN port on the STM32H735G-DK. I know I need to change a 0 Ohm resistor jumper to use it, but some example code to get me started with it would be helpful.

hi.I read "https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/concurrent-use-of-usb-and-can-with-stm32f103/ta-p/49472"So, i want use a STM32F105R8T6.Is this mcu okay?

Can several STHS34PF80 IR sensors be used simultaneously, when placed not far from each other, say on the same PCB? If STHS34PF80 infrared sensors are completely passive devices, there should not be any limitations of the distance between them, even if their fields of view are intersecting, right?

We are using STM32H750VBT6 rev V and have encounter boards with mcus that freezes when we try to use the CRYP.  So far we have seen that on failing boards the crypto registers are zeroed immediately after initialization but on a functional board there are non-zero content.What could cause this behavior?

Hello!I've working with AMICAM1 module together with STM32L476RG. By default in example 16 bit resolution is used. AD1974 that used in AMICAM1 has possibility to measure with 24 bit resolution. I tried to extend the buffers and config 24 or even 32 bits ti the SAI, USB descriptiod and AMICAM configuration but nothing helps. Could anyone support please how to reconfigure the project correctly?

Hello,I'm trying to use the SAES/AES shared key functionality in a Trustzone (TZEN=1, RDP = 0), using the functions provided by the HAL library. The board I use is the B-U585I-IOT02A.The only project example I found is with Trustzone disabled, but it runs correctly with my configuration (TZEN=1, RDP = 0) without any changes. Just one executable image loaded running in non-secure (without the secure - non secure switch).The code is roughly the following (I removed checks and key/IV definition):HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); SystemPower_Config(); MX_ICACHE_Init(); MX_RNG_Init(); hcryp.Instance = SAES; hcryp.Init.DataType = CRYP_NO_SWAP; hcryp.Init.KeySize = CRYP_KEYSIZE_256B; hcryp.Init.pInitVect = (uint32_t *)pInitVectSAES; hcryp.Init.Algorithm = CRYP_AES_CBC; hcryp.Init.KeyIVConfigSkip = CRYP_KEYIVCONFIG_ALWAYS; hcryp.Init.KeyMode = CRYP_KEYMODE_SHARED; hcryp.Init.KeySelect = CRYP_KEYSEL_HW; hcryp.Init.KeyProtection = CRYP_KEYPROT_DISABLE; HAL_CRYP_Init(&hcryp) HAL_CRYPEx_Enc

Hi, I would like to integrate the STPM4RasPI with MP135F-dk. After following the https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STPM4RasPI_expansion_board tutorial, I am receiving an error. Driver is enabled:STPM4RasPI module is properly attached. Do you have any possible solutions? Best,Jacek

When plugging in a device in DFU mode to a native USB port of the notebook cubeprogrammer reports:When using it over USB HUB or other port the Cubeprogrammer works fine (we never activated RDP).USBDeview shows no difference in the installed drivers. Happens on various machines/pcs/notebooks.

I've recently evaluated the AEK-MOT-MR200G1 and AEK-MOT-TK200G1 evaluation boards to gain a better understanding of using the L99DZ200G device and have noticed that neither of those boards used the on-chip CAN transceiver in the L99DZ200G device but, instead, used a separate CAN transceiver device.Is there a known problem with using the on-chip CAN transceiver in the L99DZ200G device?Should I also use a separate CAN transceiver if I'm to use the L99DZ200G in a design?I've written an Arduino library to control the L99DZ200G device from an Arduino Nano, Arduino Nano Every, or a Teensy 3.1 (using Teensyduino).(see https://github.com/dlkeng/Arduino_DLK_L99DZ200G)

I have programmed STMG030k8T6 MCU in a prototypeChannels used ADC_IN_0 as T_sense  ADC_IN_15 AS BattMonif I am calling any one of the function I am getting exact values what i measure in hardwareBut if i called them both only reading values from CH 0 please help me to sort it out stuck for  a long in thisNote:When i used conversion with DMA ,also getting the same issuesReading channel_0reading channel_15but when read bothAlready I have tried maximum of suggestions by the people but still struggling to get the solution  void Get_Tsense(void) { ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_0; sConfig.Rank = ADC_RANK_CHANNEL_NUMBER; sConfig.SamplingTime = ADC_SAMPLINGTIME_COMMON_1; if (HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&hadc1, &sConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 1000); Tsense_raw=HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); Tsense=(Tsense_raw*3.3)/4095; HAL_ADC_St

Hi everyone,I'm working in a Medical devices company and we use currently plenty of STM32s (F0,F1,F4, maybe soon H7). Until now, we didn't bother that much the cybersecurity topic for the firmwares but now the norms are forcing us :D.I checked a bit all the security features availables on STM32 products and i'm a bit confused because there is a looooot.Anyway, we currently use stm32-flasher to update our firmware via the uart interface of the bootloader. Here comes my question, how can i secure this update, we to be able to update if it's needed but to avoid/make it more difficult for anyone connecting to the device from our main CPU via our external debug interface?Thanks in advance for your answer,Thomas
