Can you provide more specific codes for the ST25R3918? I need to program the chip for both card emulator mode, and reader mode.I'm highly interested in knowing the correct registers configuration as well as the NDEF protocol.Best regards,Cairo

@Berenice BENVEGUDA I'm reopening this topic because I haven't received a PM from you, my mailbox here is empty: https://community.st.com/t5/st25-nfc-rfid-tags-and-readers/how-to-use-trust25-without-being-approved-for-an5580/m-p/621042#M9997   I've sent you another message but still no reply so I'm not sure if you arent receiving them or whats the case. Could you please help me to get documentation under SLA?

Hi,I've STM32CubeIDE v1.14.1 on a Windows10 PC. I've NUCLEO-G0B1RE board and I've created my workspace with a standard project starting from the NUCELO ioc configuration. I can build the project and upload the .elf file on the uC with STM32CubeProgrammer software, no problem, it works.When I try to Run or Debug the project from the STM32CubeIDE, nothing happens; also if I try to add some lauch configuration from Properties->Run/Debug Settings menu, nothing happens......Another strange thing is that in the Build Analyzer tab I have no info about memory usage.... Is there a way to solve?Thanks!

I want to copy STEVAL-SMARTAG and have made the same circuit board to connect max6675(PB1 connect CS, PA5 connect SCK, PA7 connect SO), where the temperature is 12-bit data, so write the SMARTAG_ADDR_MINMAX_P_ACCV address, the following is the relevant code, Can the temperature data be read correctly through NFC?float K_Temperature ; char temperaturebuffer[30] = { 0xD1, 0x01, 0x1B, 0x54, 0x02, 0x65, 0x6E }; /* beginning of Active log */ if(ReadSensorAndLog & SYNC_EVENT) { /* Init SmarTag sensor */ if(NFC_EEPROM_Data.LogMode != SMARTAG_LOGMODE_ACTIVE_THS) { InitSmarTagSensor(); } /*SensorDataToCompactData();*/ K_Temperature=MAX6675_ReadTemperature(); sprintf(&temperaturebuffer[7], "Temperature: %.2f C", K_Temperature); SMARTAG1_NFCTAG_WriteData(Instance, (uint8_t *)temperaturebuffer, SMARTAG_ADDR_MINMAX_P_ACCV, strlen(temperaturebuffer) + 1); } /* end of activelog */

Why do I rewrite the code according to the example of nfc07a1, but the string of smartag is always read out? Can I change its code? void MX_NFC7_NDEF_URI_Init(void){ SmarTag_LED_GREEN_On(); while( SMARTAG1_NFCTAG_Init(SMARTAG1_NFCTAG_INSTANCE) != NFCTAG_OK ){} /* Reset Mailbox enable to allow write to EEPROM */ SMARTAG1_NFCTAG_ResetMBEN_Dyn(SMARTAG1_NFCTAG_INSTANCE); /* Check if no NDEF detected, init mem in Tag Type 5 */ if( NfcType5_NDEFDetection( ) != NDEF_OK ) { CCFileStruct.MagicNumber = NFCT5_MAGICNUMBER_E1_CCFILE; CCFileStruct.Version = NFCT5_VERSION_V1_0; CCFileStruct.MemorySize = ( ST25DV_MAX_SIZE / 8 ) & 0xFF; CCFileStruct.TT5Tag = 0x05; while( NfcType5_TT5Init( ) != NFCTAG_OK ) ; } SmarTag_LED_GREEN_Off(); } /** * @brief Process of the NDEF_URI application * @retval None */ void MX_NFC7_NDEF_URI_Process(void) { char str[] = "Hello, NFC!"; const uint16_t size = strlen(str) + 1; NfcType5_WriteNDEF(size, (uint8_t *)str); HAL_Delay(300); }&nbs

I am looking into RAM support for the SMT32H750 series chips for my future projects.The STM32H750 series chips support 16-bit data bus as well as 32-bit data bus configuration. This mode is selected on startup, as far as I can tell.If I were to use the STM32CubeMX tool to configure my chip, would a switch from a 16 bit to a 32-bit bus (and vice versa) require a significant re-generation of support code, or would it be realtively easy to toggle this (ignoring the pin reassignments)?I would test this myself but it seems like all development kits for this series have a 16-bit data bus...

Hello,I am using a NUCLEO-H743ZI2.I read the reference manual RM0433 Rev8.I also read a bunch of topics in the forum but didn't find what I wanted. I am trying to check my ADC sampling rate by looking at the timestamp at my half full/full callback from the DMA buffer. For now I don't have an AWG to generate a sine so I don't know other method to do so.In order to do the experiment, I generate a number via the microcontroller and increases it by 100 every second. It goes to the DAC. I put a jumper cable to the ADC1 so I can read the value.I want a sample rate of 10ksample/second with a ADC resolution of 12bits.I changed the value of PLL2 in order to have a ADC frequency of 1.2MHz  Then I tried to guess the link between the ADC frequency and the sampling rate and didn't find a clear formula.From what I understood the formula is something like this:withf_sample = 10 kHz that I wantf_ADC= 1.2MHz that i configured in clock configurationprescaler = 8 that I choose in the ADC p

Hi,I would like to enable the USB HID Device function to the target uC of the NUCLEO board. So I've created a new project, selected the board and added the 2 USB pin configuration:I've also enabled the middleware functions:the clock config seems to be correct:and the generated code is (I've just added a hello world string on serial):I just want to recognize the device from my PC: on the nucleo board I've connected pin PA12 and PA11 directly to a USB connector with two wires (plus GND); when I plug usb cable the PC says "USB device not recognized".My question is: It could be only an hardware problem or I have to set something more in the firmware and/or configuration?

Hi @Federica Bossi , I need help with setting LSM6DSO sensor hub i2c master clock speed. How do I set the master i2c clock speed between LSM6DSO and external sensor for sensor hub operation? Is there registers or something else on LSM6DSO that controls master i2c clock speed between external sensors? If there is anything I am mistaken about, please do correct me.Thanks,

Hi, I use STM32Cube IDE, and use STM32G0 - G0B1RE device. I try to enable the mod register to blink the LED here is the code that i try so far, based on the Reference Manual (rm0444), I need to enable RCC_IOPENR before modify the GPIOx_MODER. But unfortunately it still did not work.When i try in debugging mode via the SFRs by set the value of RCC_IOPENR, GPIOA MODER (MODER5), OTYPER (OT5), PUPDR PUPDR(5), and BSRR the LED was turned on. The LED is at GPIOA (PA5) based on the schematic.Did i missed something? or there is anything to enable before I modifie the GPIOx_MODER?In the reference manual to enable to peripheral in STMG0-G0B1RE the GPIO Bus is IOPORT not AHB or APB  #include "main.h" #include "stdint.h" int main(void) { uint32_t *ptr; // RCC_IOPENR ptr = (uint32_t *)(0x40021000 + 0x34); *ptr |= (0x1 << 0); //set bit position 0 to value 1 (0x1) for GPIOA // GPIO MOD Register GPIOA // [ISSUE] THE MOD REGISTER VALUE DID NOT CHANGE ptr =

Hi community,any mcu from family STM32H7 or other that supports Profibus?Thanks a lot

hello,I have the same problem posted by H.Ahmed on October 2022, read also in other posts:"Failed to start GDB Server Error Initializing ST-LINK deviceReason (18) Could not verify ST device!"I tried all suggestions found on web, but no help.I'm using STM32CubeIde 1.14.1,  ST-Link V2  (updated)Connection is very simple and should be OK, because if i program the device wth ST-Link Utilityor with STM32CubeProgrammer, all works fine.I tried with CubeIde 1.8.0 as suggested in another post, but no luck.Even older projects who i made some years ago, now have the same problem.I read also on a post that someone from ST apologizes for this problem who is an olderbug reappeared now.Hope there is a solution, because it would be very frustrating if i'm constrainedto change an IDE who i love, and if i'm unable to mantain older projects.Thanks in advanceelvisee

Hello,In a Client(Router)/Server configuration with two STM32WB55 I would like to accelerate the transmission of data at starting of the server.The server address is know in advance and stored in the client then in the HCI_LE_ADVERTISING_REPORT_SUBEVT_CODE client event I added aci_gap_terminate_gap_proc(GAP_GENERAL_DISCOVERY_PROC); which works well.It connects immediately! But between the Connection and the NOTIFICATION ENABLED, it takes 10 seconds, see the log:  15:35:57.717> ==>> aci_gap_set_discoverable - Success 15:35:57.717> ==>> Success: Start Fast Advertising 15:35:58.009> 15:35:58.009> >>== HCI_LE_CONNECTION_COMPLETE_SUBEVT_CODE - Connection handle: 0x801 15:35:58.009> - Connection established with Central: @:00:80:e1:26:61:13 15:35:58.009> - Connection Interval: ms 15:35:58.009> - Connection latency: 0 15:35:58.009> - Supervision Timeout: 2100 ms 15:36:08.785> 15:36:08.785> -- P2P APPLICATION SERV

Hello !I'm working on the VL53L5CX sensor with a Nucleo L432KC.Using the ST example, and after succeeded the initialization of the VL53L5CX, the sensor's data are never ready. In the following function, the p_dev->temp_buffer[1:4] are all equals to 0 :  uint8_t vl53l5cx_check_data_ready( VL53L5CX_Configuration *p_dev, uint8_t *p_isReady) { uint8_t status = VL53L5CX_STATUS_OK; status |= RdMulti(&(p_dev->platform), 0x0, p_dev->temp_buffer, 4); for (uint8_t i = 0; i < 4; i++) printf("0x%02X", p_dev->temp_buffer[i]); printf("\n"); if((p_dev->temp_buffer[0] != p_dev->streamcount) && (p_dev->temp_buffer[0] != (uint8_t)255) && (p_dev->temp_buffer[1] == (uint8_t)0x5) && ((p_dev->temp_buffer[2] & (uint8_t)0x5) == (uint8_t)0x5) && ((p_dev->temp_buffer[3] & (uint8_t)0x10) ==(uint8_t)0x10) ) { *p_isReady = (uint8_t)1; p_dev->streamcount = p_dev->temp_buffer[0]; } e

Hi, I am new to NFC and trying to make writing/reading from an NFC work.I would like to read/write to st25tv tag and I use st25r39 reader IC. I have successfully ported the RFAL and NDEF library provided by ST. I have used ndef_demo example to start with. I run the application and was expecting to enter the if loop as shown below. Unfortunately nothing is happening. Also, the IRQ pin of st25r39 is not connected to the MCU. Does RFAL library needs this pin to be connected to the MCU ? Can the RFAL library work without this pin ?

HelloCan I use Windows and STM32CubeIDE to develop application using STM32MP135FAF7 (STM32MP135F-DK discovery kit).I tried to create empty project based on this discovery kit but it ended with message"This project requires OpenSTLinux version 'openstlinux-6.1.-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21', setup it now ?"and finally error message "This operation is only supported on Linux!"I would like to program "bare" A7 chip using STM32IDE using STLink, is it really possible ?Thanks in advance... and Best RegardsRadim

I am using the SPC58 MCU product with the TRACE32 debugger. When changing the Life Cycle from "customer_delivery" to "in_field" with the trace32 script, debugging is only possible by entering the keycode. What should I do if I want to change the Life Cycle back to "customer_delivery"?

Used ecosystem :STM32CubeIDE version: 1.4.2 Build: 7643_20200813_1322 (UTC)TouchGFX vesion 4.5.0 , with STM32F746G-DISCO template version 3.0.2STM32Cube FW_F7_V1.16.0 DriversTo repeat the issue :1) Create a new project using TouchGFX Editor, using STM32F746G-DISCO as template.2) Add some widgets to the default initial screen (eg. some red text)3) Save and generate code from TouchGFX Editor.4) Open the ".project" file from the system's file exporer, letting STM32CubeIDE import it to the current workspace.5) Compile from STM32CubeIDE : success ! And it runs !6) Enable a new IP from the CubeMX .oic file (e.g, the USB_OTG_HS as Host Only )7) Save the .ioc file and let STM32CubeMX re-generate the code.8) Big HOT MESS in the project directory, the Debug output directory gets added as compilable, two main.c files appear in two separate Core folders, compilation won't succed anymore.:weary_face: :fearful_face: :loudly_crying_face:

What is the output impedance of st chip IO?

I work with the STM32WB5MMG (bluetooth Low Enenrgy 5.0 and 802.15.4 module).I can’t find any documentation regarding the allocation of each pin of the chip.the datasheet I found indicate a type I/O and a reference of the type "PB10" or "PD2".... but I don’t know what these references are referring to: where are the I2C, SPI buses? what role does each pin have?Do you have a specific document that I can rely on?Or, can you tell me what type of stm32 is embedded in this module (48 legs? 68? ) and in this case where to find the exact references of each pin.Thanks for your help.

Hello We're using the st25dv64kc 12pin package on a custom board and it is wired as shown below to our MCU which is the atxmega128a1.Our product is battery powered so we keep the current draw from the battery minimal during long inactivity periods.Normal current draw is 60uA but if the st25dvs interrupts are enabled the current draw goes up to 170uA even if the LPD is set to high and the VCC is set to low. If the st25dv starts up with interrupts disabled the draw remains 60uA but if the interrupts are enabled and afterwards disabled without power cycling the the device the draw does not goes down and stays at around 170uA.The VDCG is connected directly to the main power source at 5V.How can I get close to the stated under 1uA draw in ultra low power mode?Thanks,Alex

In an earlier post, the ST25RU3993 was EOL with no replacement.https://community.st.com/t5/st25-nfc-rfid-tags-and-readers/replacement-for-st25ru3993-coming/m-p/60581 Now the ST25RU3993 is again available and active. Is there an official period this product will be available?  As you can understand, we are interested in proceeding with your product, but we also need to know future availability.
